How injured are they, Deathwatch constant on his eyes

there are so freaking many running about, you can't really tell.

there doesn't seem to be any "sides" there. They just blindly attack acnything and everything they see. It's a huge mess of bloodshed, 10 or 20 dropping every few seconds, but there is almost a thousand still standing.

Still keeping his eyes focused on the bloodbath, he plants his staff on the ground in front of him, waiting to see how many will fall

Vai, Rager wrote:

Vai smiles at Anahita's enthusiam. It felt good that someone she had just met was so readily eager to help her with her problems. "Actually, my Mom said that she would make me something that would inject a potion that would calm my emotions if I get too angry, but she's too busy right now getting the school up and running again. I... have to be able to control myself on my own, and I will, but it will take time. The potions will just be a safety net for when I slip." After a pause, and a shy smile, an idle hand running through the thriving grass. "As far as activities... I really do love flying. I do it often, but I haven't had much time since the semester started."

"It's just.... it's really hard for me to trust people, and... physical contact can trigger painful memories for me. Flashbacks to my imprisonment. I... wasn't always a dragon Anahita. I drew the lot on my 16th birthday, and..." she chokes off for a moment, obviously a very painful memeory. "My.. natural dad put me up to be taken. Taken by a blue dragon named Aegythrax."

There's another pause, and Vai continues shakily after that. "He... did all sorts of terrible things to me: torture... rape, mind control... but also, he experimented on me, changed me into a... weird half-dragon thing... I..." She's shaking a little while she tells the story, and stops there, collecting herself. "At least he gave me my wings, and my family and friends here at Avalon." she finishes, with a smile, even though there are tears in her eyes. She blinks them away at a moment, and looks to Anahita to see what her response to these revelations would be.

Anahita's expression is one of contemplative thought while watching Vai's features as she speaks. After she shares, she says, "You have suffered, it appears, yet come out of it stronger than entering. That you speak of it, is helpful, I feel. You enjoy flying? There are numerous beings here that can fly, perhaps you might form a club of sight see-ers to combine what you love with an exploration outside your comfort zone, thus increasing your exposure to foreign people and situations. The fact you are here suggests you endured and can grow further. I have no doubt this is possible. If you wanted, there may even be some natural plants to eat here, if the flora is similar to my world that might be imbibed to soothe your nerves or the like, though the use of magic is of equal value, I feel. Just do not allow yourself to become dependent on any of these things, for within you, I see a strength you can cultivate further. Just your focusing on the positive, channel what you've experienced into you growth towards change. Some beings are incapable of doing such, they are doomed to die, or repeat their stagnant existences, though you could call that living. There are worse fates."

Possible sermon complete, Anahita ponders something a moment and then adds, "I presume you, in the same light as earlier not wishing to seek out your temporal clone, of sorts, have no desires or designs on actively seeking revenge either? Either the culprit is dead, or out of reach for now, yes? You might wish to, if he is not, help protect others? Or are only your close friends and family important to you? An aspect of your dragon ... DNA, as it were, making you wish to horde the things you cherish? I am merely guessing, it might help explain the anger too. If you wished, I often do meditation and foraging as part of my weekly activities, you are welcome to join me, were you interested in an alternative living to all this ...technology."

With that she peers back at the school briefly yet adds, "Though, as I study and feel the properties of this establishment, it does appear to blend well with nature. I would even go so far as to say the school itself almost feels sentient, though, I am speculating for now on that. After all, in my mind, anything is possible, since leaving Golarion and meeting the half burning man."

She does smile at the notion, shifting a moment where she is casually lounging.

It unnerved him slightly. But Tyrrin and Tybalt and the others were going to be here too, so it couldn't be all bad.

When he reaches the door the school lead him to, he looks at Tyrrin before opening the door. Chilled air blows out instantly, making him smile. The only thing different from a normal room here at Avalon is the pile of furs next to the bed, which Lamai immediately lies on.

"It's... It's great."

"Good. I'm glad. Now, try to get some rest, alright? We can talk to the Headmaster in the morning. But if you do need anything, feel free to come find me. The walls work the same way to find people as they do to find rooms. Okay?" Tyrrin says, glad that Pyry had agreed to come back with them to the school. She could see he was still a little tense, but the smile at the room had made Tyrrin decide that it had been worth the effort.

They probably are, but I'm honestly not sure if Ignace is actually going to to restroom or not. xD Either way, I'll account for it in my post.

If Ignace was indeed heading to the restroom, Midori hung well back, using her stealth skills to follow to Lang unnoticed.

If and when Ignace does enter the washroom, Midori will hurry up to Lang, her head hung slightly in shame at how she's acted towards Ignace, but she says quietly to Lang: "You wanted to talk, Lang-kun? I think anyway?"

Ehos releases his rapier as his opponent slips - the weapon still stuck in Sil's stomach - and attempts to catch Jaiye as she's thrown towards him. His strength was ebbing away though, blood going everywhere, and instead of catching her he is knocked back and they tumble end over end together, elven blood smearing and coating the both of them, spraying across the room. Ehos scrambles to his feet as he de-tangles himself from Jaiye. His vision was starting to go blurry, his head was light, his thoughts fuzzy, and the exertions of the battle were only tearing his wounds open further, and causing them to bleed more. The pain was almost unbearable, but still he stood. Jaiye was counting on him, and he would not let her down. All he had left was the shield though, and with his weakening state, he doubted he would be anything more than an insect buzzing around Sil's head.

Vai follows along with Anahita, sermon and all, with intent listening - nodding or making small noises of agreement, her distress at speaking of her past falling away as the other girl encourages her. "Oh... maybe that /would/ be a good idea... but... dragons still don't have a very good reputation on Agartha. The Empire's assassins spread propaganda after Agartha was sealed away, and so dragons are not well trusted. We're trying to change perceptions... but it's slow, and some people will never change. I would be worried about flying all over the place and causing a panic. Even in Kuros - where people ought to know bettter - I still caused a panic yesterday when I landed there in my dragon form. Thank you, though Anahita, for believing in me. I... really am trying to move on with my life, but it will take time. Maybe some natural remedies would be good."

At the mentioned that she might be hoarding those she cares about, Vai actually blinks, completely taken aback. "I... what? That's..." she had been about to say crazy... but was it? Her jealousy about Morrivan and Sadie, her despair when she had thought she had lost a friend in Sadie - the everpresent feeling of loss at Nasima's continued absence... "Oh. I'm... hoarding my friends? My family? I..."

Apparently completely speechless for a moment - an image conjured in her mind of her sleeping in dragon form atop a pile of her friends and family - Vai sits there, slightly stunned at the realization. "I hadn't thought of it like that before, but I think you're right. Is... is it bad? I do care what happens to others... but I guess I am possessive of those close to me. And I don't think the other me will leave the school alone, that's the only reason why I think it would be a good idea to stop her. I'm not... bloodthirsty. I hope."

She's still careful not to poke Lang with her horn accidently, but she's uncomfortably close, and whispers. "Promise you will not hate me, Lang-kun" she asks.

Anahita smiles and shrugs at Vai, "Is it truly DNA or life's intricate workings from a lifetime of species passed down? Good, bad? Who is truly to say except for those fanatics that live and breath their own gospel seeking to define reality around them to feel secure in their world view? You are. You need only be true to yourself, and maintain your being as you choose to be. Except for when we are still babes untethered from our makers, it is what you do that will be how you are judged, and often, primarily only yourself has that right. That is my current thoughts on that. I'm glad this speaking has aided you? What now? Oh- it's possible about the hording, are you a jealous creature? I recall the blues are by study and nature jealous or greedy, no? How much, if any, of that is a part of you, however, only you might know- or care. Choice. See? Seems simple, doing, that is different."

Another youthful smile and shrug. "What shall we do now? Much of what we speak of needs time to pass, not that discussing isn't enjoyable."

"No! I.. Maybe, I don't know! I don't want to meet any firebirds!" Instinctively, the boy becomes a swirling mass of ice and snow, using it as a way to stop talking.
