"I would not like to think that I am being a burden." Vare says simply as Ephebe is pulling into the speeder hangar. "To whom should I speak about this? Or are you going to handle it?"
"You're not being a burden by getting help you need to do your job to the best of your abilities. You should talk to the Headmaster, probably. If you'd like I can go with you. Moral support and all that. Depending on how many crises he has to handle it also puts me in a position to offer to handle it. But it looks better if you go to him yourself."

"Yes I believe it maybe a little hard on him or her to travel there. Traveling from one dimension to another would be simple compared to were I'm from. Both myself and the headmaster Ryo have many questions about how I arrived and how my home and this place are connected. It's possible I will never find out how they are connected. I have my theories however."
Oops :S Can't believe I mixed those up. Oh well easily explained.
His face reddens slightly realizing his mistake. "I'm sorry. I must have misused a word. I have only learned this language in the last 3 months. Along with a few others. So I guess this is something to expect from time to time."
"Wow. That's actually quite impressive to have learned the language in such a short time. And don't worry. I've been speaking this language all my life and I still occasionally commit ridiculous misspeaks. Happens to everyone. You have a better excuse than most," she said, with a brief grin.
"Your world is so different and yet not so different....it's fascinating how that could even be possible."

Aanandareavekki |

When Tryko'Sam gets to the cafeteria, Aananda is sitting down to what looks like a hearty dinner for twenty...or so....
"Hi," she said as she gobbled up a large pan of pot roast. "Umm....you're welcome to join me, but word to the wise, do not try to get between a dragon and her food," she said with a wink.

Sadly this is close to the background story of the system he came from. Just reworded in Salis's words.
He smiled to her. "It is quite remarkable. I believe it is because my home multi-verse was created an entity that took beings from other multi-verses to fight it's wars. After it's defeat the way to connect the other worlds has been lost. Like this one there are many's planes and dimensions in mine. Created by these entities. My belief is that my kind were stolen from here. From there everything evolved differently, such as our languages. There were similarities between my and the language that dragons use here. It was partly why it was easier for me to learn these languages. There were some the varied greatly however. Common was a vastly new concept to me. In the world I come from there was no trade tongue just regional languages. It made traveling rough if you didn't learn many different languages." Salis slowly takes a drink of water.
He continues after finishing his drink. "There are other races there. That don't exist here. There are some races distantly related but not close enough to be conceived as them. One being the Wolven much like the shifter of this world but they have much more of wolf like traits, nor can they shift at all. There form is set. One of the main characters in my book you read was one of these. So this leads me to believe there are other multi-verses beyond my home and here." He smiled to Ori before saying. "I'm sorry if my explanation is a bit boring. It's all a bit complicated and much of this knowledge took much studying to learn before a came here."
Sorry tried to break it up a bit. It didn't work.:(

Rena looks around the room upon their arrival, not immediately recognizing the equipment but then thinking on it, and realizing that if the school led them here, there must be a reason... she had been about to speak back to Tryko'Sam when the screen appeared with the Professor on it. Vai's mother, no doubt.
She waits patiently for the conversation to be over before nodding to her friend - a distinctly humanoid gesture. "Yes, I'll find you later. Not entirely sure... the arrows must have a reason though."
After the departure of Tryko'Sam, Rena turns back to the dark youth, bobbing up and down slightly as she floats there, having abandoned the submissive pose she had taken in the town. "I... was looking for maybe a permanent magical way to have a humanoid form. That was I can attend classes and learn how to write and things like that. I'm sorry I ignored you before... too much happening. My name is Rena."
The youth stands up a bit, and oddly enough, his odd book he had earlier is gone between Rena's peering one way or another, (in a blink of an eye!).
After Tryko'Sam leaves and Rena speaks to the fellow, he furrows his brow in thought and says, "Hello Rena. I'm pretty sure I could arrange for you to have a humanoid form. Is there something in particular you're looking for? I'd need to know more about you-- your desires and such. Are you willing to share?"
Smiling lightly at Rena, the young human adds, "We wouldn't want to make you into a fat male human if you didn't want it, right? There's an importance to details."
The light smile broadens a slight bit, but all in all, his dark eyes consider Rena without any unusual intensity.

"light weights, any how I'm thinking of heading back to the academy, its fun here an all, but want to meet some others"
Carl gets up,
"So how about that race, this time no Magic porting like, what ya say?"
If Arthur says yes, Carl will fly 50' good speed.

Nodding and slipping into a table seat near her, Tryko'Sam chuckles. "Hey-- no problem here. Certainly don't want to be accidentally chomped on either, Professor."
He grins and looks over the food. "So, I guess no magical way to just whip up a massive meal for fifty, huh? Or super pill of compressed food? Guessing some pleasures can't be replaced with spell or tech?"
That said, he sits there leaning on the table, not near any food of hers, and waits. He is rather charming just doing that.

"Ya win lad, now whats dat thing down by the lake? looks like a pool table"

"I've toyed with the idea of using magic to reduce my nutritional requirements, but....well...I like food," she admitted as she downed a large bowl of mashed potatoes. "And it's definitely not something I'd experiment with now. I'm pregnant....which I'm only telling you because we'll be working together since you're one of the students helping me with the PE classes. And it's less awkward to mention now than when you're trying to talk to me and I suddenly have to run away to go vomit."
"Anyhow, I analyzed that metal. Two things stand out. One, it's created. Not of natural origin. It has some qualities in common with some natural metals, but it's not one. Two, it's alive. Like cells are alive. Which metal shouldn't be. I've put that piece under observation in an isolated chamber, and if it shows any signs of regeneration then we should worry. Otherwise I think we can assume that it's dead and just keep an eye out in case there were more of them."

She let herself be led to her new quarters in the tent city, keeping up the act of being docile and obedient. If she acted that way then they wouldn't be as attentive....she might have a chance to get away. Especially in all this chaos. She savored the feeling of fresh air around her. It was such a nice change from the tower....even if she was still under guard.

Nodding as she speaks, Tryko'Sam's boyishness seems to dim a notch upon hearing that she's pregnant, as if that altered his being charming boy, into a more somber tone.
Then again, it could be that she mentioned 'working with her'.
"Cells... so, a robot thing was mimicking cells? But, not on a DNA level, correct? Just human-- or, uh, biological cellular structures? Not, mine, right?" The last part was asked with a lot of seriousness to the question-- a lot of concern.
If Aanandareavekki were to compare the structure of the cell to the scans she'd done of Tryko'Sam earlier, while there were /some/ similarities, it's clearly without DNA make up, and would only mirror his own cells the way any human 'cells' are.
"I'm concerned there might be a few more-- gut feeling, fear, not sure what you want to call it, my memory is shot to heck. This other teacher, Ephebe mentioned possibly helping, but it sounded as if that might be unreliable, or too difficult. Rena mentioned a 'wish', or some method of magic."
He shrugs, a frown on his face, concern there while waiting on Aanandareavekki's response.

"No, they weren't mimicking your cells in particular...just cells in general. Using a biological structure as a ....template I suppose."
She grimaced. "No, wishcraft is only for truly dire circumstances....it always comes with unforeseen complications. And if Ephebe offered to help, she meant it. The only thing unreliable is her time because she has so many responsibilities....she's always been the overachiever among my children....although James has certainly taken a turn in that direction lately himself."
"It would be easier to run a scan, but over such a large area....Well, I can build you a tool to try and detect this particular substance that you can use to try and canvas the town. If that would help set your mind at rest about this."

Jiminy, Prankster of the Future |

"Alright, everyone. This is the last run of the night. We'll be back first thing tomorrow morning to finish the evacuations. Do not get sloppy here. I know you're tired. We're all tired. But these people's lives are in our hands. So don't screw up," he said, addressing the pilots.
"Sorchan, this is the last run, if you're coming back with us tonight, you need to board the shuttle now."

"Honestly-- I've no idea, just a vague sense of worry. I'm not sure if you have the facilities to deal with -- if it's needed -- the situation, so you can forgive me, I /do/ want to help, I just can't recall enough about things to know if I need too."
Clearly he's at a slight loss of words here, or purpose.
"On the flip side, if people in town start seeing more metal grates being eaten up-- wait, why would a robot thing eat up the whole grate? I mean that hole we ran into was much larger than it was, kind of tiny versus nearly 3 feet or more wide. Did your scan of this metal bit we brought back suggest it was made of the metal grate metal? Or something off world?"
Again, the one bit that Vai has brought, didn't have alloys found on Agartha.
"That did strike me as odd-- why chew up or dissolve the grating to a sewer. It's certainly out of sight, and it did chew up more than one grating... more like iron bars..."
He's clearly thinking, but it's only going so far. "At one point, I could swear I knew more science, but..." He gives a shrug and sighs. "Akin to opening a blank book, really... there is a book, just some pages are blank."
Glancing off, then back, he asks, "Anything you figure I could help Ephebe with, so she had some more free time? I've got plenty to spare."

Mel just decides to keep a slight distance for a while.
Vai takes a deep breath, closing her eyes, the panic still nearby but better now that she wasn't being hugged. She's trembling slightly still, but it's slowly going away. "No no... it's fine. I just... need a moment."
Is Taron still in here btw?
"I wish I wasn't like this Mel, sorry. I'm glad to see you too. Sorry if I'm late... there were alot of crises today." her eyes had still been closed, but now that the trembling has stopped she opens them and smiles at Melody to let her know that she was better now, before looking around the room to see who else was here.
Ginni, Raelle, Morrivan, Tamina, Melody, Taron... anyone else? Sadie isn't coming, right?

The light smile broadens a slight bit, but all in all, his dark eyes consider Rena without any unusual intensity.
"Oh... I'm sorry, I didn't get your name...?" Rena asks as she moves further into the room. The school really was amazing. Most of the students didn't even bat at eye at her shape and form.
After the young man introduces himself (or, if it's apparent he wants to be mysterious), Rena says thoughtfully. "I... hadn't really though too much on the details I suppose. I should probably be female... um.. not fat if that's alright. Teenaged looking so that I fit in better with the students... though honestly I don't know how you all can discern between one another so easily. It all looks the same to me."
She thinks again for a moment and the youth would've probably noticed that she continues to flap her angelic-ish wings as she hovers there - though the wings could not possibly be the reason she is staying aloft. A thought occurs to the feathered serpent. "Is it possible for me to have wings like these? I think I would miss them if I did not have them."

Fisrt of all Thanks you all for coming I only wish I can do more to. and just so you know this room has been added to the Simulation lists and all of you should have access to it if you ever want some private musical space. I can program in some random boys as eye candy if anyone would like.

Seeing as I have filled volues of books with nothing but notes. If you wish I would be happy to give you my papers that are to be desposed of. Curently I do have there books of notes that had already been reviewed and considered. The information I doubt would make a good book."

Ehos Denulia |

Ace decides it might be best to go and talk to Ehos and Jaiye before he begins his spell work. He places his hand on the wall, and follows the arrows to where ever Tyrrin's brother might be.
Ace finds Jaiye, Ehos and Phaezeriel just exiting the Headmaster's office. Ehos waves at him... and he's gently holding hands with Jaiye. At least there's some positive news - Ehos hasn't been completely dumped yet for what happenned this morning.
'Hey.' Ehos displays with the pad he's fished out. 'How's it going Ace?'

She shrugged. "Aside from the fact that I pretty much spent the entirety of summer break on paper making, I mostly just do it a little bit at a time. I work on it a little every single night."
"And yeah, if you have scrap paper you're already done with, by all means, send it my way. I need all the paper-making material I can get."
"I can show you my workshop if you want. It's attached to my room for easy access. It's fairly large...well, it has to be really."

Tamina |

"Woooo! You go, Ginni!" Tami cheered when Melody put on the recording of Ginni's song.
Ginni blushed and looked like she wanted to go hide somewhere.
"Oh, come on, Ginni....you don't need to be so shy around us....we're your friends," Morrivan said, putting an arm around Ginni to keep her from running away.

Damiani |

Grinning at Rena, the youth nods and bows after her asking his name with a hand to his chest, "Ah, please forgive me, that was my bad. I hadn't ever been approached by a sentient being in this manner before. I am known as Shaypeer Dunbarlokaratooki. I am a student of magical runes and talismans, but my greatest strength is if transformational magics."
Bow complete, greeting concluded, Shaypeer reaches out with his hands and that tome he'd had previously is return, apparently without much fanfare. He motions to a table and says, "I have in mind the shape of an angel, if you would care to review before accepting the change? The want for change must be accepted, for it to affect you properly, or it may be rejected out right."
After saying that, he flips through various intricately hand drawn pages of creatures, items and symbols rapidly before finding a blank page with a grin and sitting down. A smooth gesture with his left hand, he reaches behind his ear, bringing it forward and there is a pen grasped.
With quick deft motions, he proceeds to draw, masterfully, an image of a powerful, winged angelic woman, with majestic wings and gorgeous features, athletic in a flowing dress.
Then, once that is done rather quickly, he turns the book, tapping the image, which then animates and comes alive on the paper, demonstrating the range of motions and some expressions. Noting overtly sexual stands out, but, it clearly is on the leaner and beautiful side. Perhaps appearing as a lovely dark haired European teen from France or Italy.
"When I look at you, I see this within, eager to come forth. We can adjust, obviously, but that will merely take time. Thoughts?"

"Ace" |

Ace flashes a big grin at Ehos and Jaiye "Well, it would seem things are at least somewhat ok tween you two. That's awesome. I figured I should talk to you three before I begin my own research. Care to join me in the library?"

Casseus Rex |

"wait you can get detention for that kind of stuff? laaame.. uh yeah we can help with lifting,"
Smiles with his cigar hanging out of his mouth, and motions to the table
"By all means..."
