Sorceror Race Bonus and Sage Bloodline

Rules Questions

So if a Tiefling, or a Crossblooded Sylph with Elemental(Air) Bloodline, takes the Sage blood line, would they treat their intelligence as 2 higher for the purposes of sorcerer abilities?

As far as i know? Yes, as long as or of the Crossblooded bloodlines is the one specified by the racial ability.. The bloodlines are combined into one singulars bloodline.

Fiendish Sorcery: Tiefling sorcerers with the Abyssal or Infernal bloodlines treat their Charisma score as 2 points higher for all sorcerer class abilities.

Bloodline Arcana: Unlike most sorcerers, whose innate magic is powered by force of personality, you use your intellect to understand and master your mystic powers. You use your Intelligence, rather than your Charisma, to determine all class features and effects relating to your sorcerer class, such as bonus spells per day, the maximum spell level you can cast, the save DCs of your spells, and the number of daily uses of your bloodline powers. You gain a +2 bonus on all Knowledge (arcana) and Spellcraft checks.

Race traits =/= class features. Ergo, it doesn't work.

I actually agree with Raving Dork on this. Your racial affinity only affects your Charisma, not any other stat.

Wow, Lazar and RD in agreement.... Anyone else notice angels blowing trumpets to signal the end of days?

In all serious though, no, Sage bloodline would not impact the effects of racial abilities.

Ah, my mistake. I ddn't remember it was Charisma only.

I would however consider it an effect relating to your sorcerer class. That said I don't think you are technically allowed to have sage and cross-blooded as both are archetypes technically. Sage replaces the first level bloodline power and crossblooded alters the bloodline powers. If a home campaign though just talk with your GM and shouldn't really be broken. If something for PFS though RAW says illegal.

If this is for PFS, please head these wise words. Crossblooded OR Wildblooded not both.

Homegame I see no problem.
