Jeran Darkclaw |

Edit: Will save:1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34
Jeran lets go of the thing now that it's unconscious and steps away from it.
"I would strongly advise getting away from this thing now before it wakes up again."

Tyrrin Denulia |

Decent deduction... that's the reason why Tyrrin said not to run. :P Of course the girl doesn't get any credit. :P
"Well, if all else fails I brought along a Magical Mansion scroll." she says with a smirk and a glance at Oneiro. "You didn't expect me to sleep on the cold ground did you?"

Tybalt Baneko |

"C'mon. It won't sleep forever. Let's stop talking about going and actually do it." He says quietly as to not wake it up. He starts moving past the beastie carefully.

Carl "Ironfist" Promethium |

Carl finished off his meal, then asks a wall to show him his room. In short order he's standing In front of a dwarf sized door. When opened it reviles a large underground manse, very reminiscent of his home, unseen servants move around the halls, Carl enters and inspects the spaces that make up his new home. He notes its even been reinforced to Handel his "problem". He finds the students handbook and getting an ale from the pantry. Settles down in front of the fire to read it cover to cover.
He reads about the, classes, the sims, the ward system, the rules of conduct, the places in the school grounds, the places outside, the basic history and current troubles.
"Well now Ak! now, I know what Auture and the lady's where talking about, looks like there's a bit of a crap goin on" he says to himself wile closing the book.
Then to Carl's great shock his arm bands glow and in front of him an image appears.
An image of his uncle.
"Hello Carl, don't be alarmed, this is a prerecorded message, If your seeing this it means you have made it to Avalon, and been scanned and secepted by the wards. I know cus long ago I and others sent rare metals to the owners of the school, they paid well and we parted ways, but I took note of what was said about the place, I won"t go into why I have never talked about the place before, you will find out about that in time. But I think you need to know some things. Number one, you did not "happen" to find the acadimy, the armbands I gave you, have been kind of pushing you the right way, I am sorry about that but me and your farther felt it was for the best. Now the academy will try and help you, with you powers's, you will find out what your are and, you will learn new things, we hope things that will help you control the power in your blood. I would sugest you go see the headmaster, he's a friend of the clan Carl and can be trusted as such. Hear what he says and act on it. Now I am going to activate your braces, they have a will and mind of their own, We made them to help you and act as a focus for you until you gain full control yourself. They have numerous ablitys that will active as and when needed. Keep them safe and Carl now that your family loves you,"
Then with fist on his chest in dwarf salut he says.
"Truth, strenght and honor Carl."
Carl automatically responds in kind to the fading image of his uncle, it's only
then he finds he's been silently crying through out the message.

Aanandareavekki |

Aananda leaned against the desk and just focused on breathing for a couple minutes after the new arrivals headed out to explore the school.
"Anything I can do?" Dennis asked.
She shook her head. "No. But I think I do need an assistant or twelve. And I just got the PE classes handed back to me. At a time when I need to be cutting back on my responsibilities. I've deputized a couple of students and they can handle the technical stuff, but I really need someone to supervise the classes. If you hear of anyone who might be interested let me know."
"Okay. I can do this. And then a nap...if I can just get two hours without a crisis. Please, please, please."
She checked the readout on the analysis of the sample Vai had brought her. "Interesting. In the oh, crap, sense of interesting."
::Vai, I have the results on that test. It looks like... some sort of metal. Kind of like aluminum...no, titanium is closer I think. But it's not natural material. It's created. The regularity of the molecules is almost creepy. And they're....they move. Like...cells. There's less movement coming from it as it goes. This piece is probably dying. Still, living metal is pretty concerning. I'm putting this thing in full isolation.
Also, I'm sorry for yelling at you. Your opinions are perfectly valid, but it's important to keep in mind how you express them. And I know it's not fair, but being dragons in a world that has been afraid of us for so long, we have to work harder than anyone else to prove how calm and reasonable and not rampagey we are even when it's the last thing we feel like doing.::
"Alright, let's see the results of this video restoration project...what do we have here? Other than a really crappy picture...were they using a magnetic strip to record this on? This is...crazy primitive."
Dami, let me know what footage was recoverable from the alchemy lab.
She pinched the bridge of her nose as she attempted to decipher the video footage, trying unsuccessfully to stave off the impending headache.

Carl "Ironfist" Promethium |

Carl makes his mind up to go out, look around this town that's close, he hosted over to aruthus bit of the space,
"I need an ale and a walk you want to head to town ?"

Voice of Awesomeness |

As Aananda tinkers with the video camera that Dennis gave her, two things are readily apparent. One, the device isn't overly good. It seems almost experimental like. It does however do its job. The other thing she notices is that it appears somebody took a bit of extra precautions to make sure it was damaged. To a lesser technician, it would be beyond repair, but Professor Sunwake is quite adapt at her chosen field of expertise.
It takes her several minutes, but she's eventually able to salvage/cobble it back together enough to get it to play its imagery. She transmits it through to a bigger screen and enhances the video to get a clearer picture. While the saboteur's identity is not able to be discerned, Aananda can tell this person obviouwly knew not only what he or she was doing, but seemed to also carry a grudge of some sort. Not only is the fire set, but extra care is taken to destroy certain seemingly personal items. Including a picture on one wall of the shop keep, James Sunwake, and his lovely wife Fieri. Extra attention seems to be paid to defacing them both.

Vare, the Summoner |

"Well, there's a complicated question. There are a lot of answers. It's....a sort of penance in a way for the things that I did when I was a child. Just because I was raised by demons and didn't know better doesn't make the things I did any less horrifying. Also, my family....my real family not the ones that raised me....they run the school. My uncle is the Headmaster and my mom is in charge of security. Staying here lets me stay close to them which is important to me....I'm still getting to know them. Also, there aren't a lot of places that would be accepting of my mate and myself since we're dragons and most of Agartha is still prejudiced against our kind. But a lot of it is for my children. They're going to hatch later this year and I want them to grow up in a safe place where they can have actual playmates and not have to hide who and what they are. This is that place. That's why I worked so hard to create the elementary school."
"Ah, dragons. I've heard the stories growing up. And I heard that there were dragons at Avalon too, though I had not expected them to be among the teaching staff. Does this mean the Headmaster is also a dragon, if he is your uncle?" Vare asks curiously as he holds a hand out the side of the skimmer, feeling the air as they streaked back towards the school.
Vare makes no indication that his opinion of Ephebe has changed in any way upon discovering that Ephebe was a dragon. "I will work hard then, in spite of my recent disagreement with the Headmaster. These children need our help after all."

arthur looks up from where he was putting his trey in the proper place, do they re use the treys? and says to carl "sure, was just planning for a trip into town myself, though i am not particularially fond of drinking, i might have a round or two" his backpack makes a hissing sound as a suit of armor unfolds and covers him in less than ten seconds one full round action "you ready to go, we could make it a race?"

Ehos Denulia |

Jaiye just barely managed to not outwardly blush at the compliment.
::Thank you. I...am not used to thinking of myself as...competent.::
::Well, you should get used to it. You're very talented Jaiye. You keep surprising me.:: Ehos returns the a telepathic smile, and looks back to the grou.
::Alright, so basically the plan is to make her think we're more stupid than we actually are, feed her the information we want to, and use that to lure her into a trap?:: he asks the group with just a little apprehension. This was going to be a complicated deception. They couldn't let down the act for even a minute in public.

Rena, the Companion |

"Hungry? No. Not feeling it right now. From what I figure-- probably not."
While walking along with Rena he peers around in his wet clothing and such, hands behind his back as he strolls.
"Avoiding dangerous is probably a good idea. Given lack of prediction, more pass. Mental healer? I don't recall ... I mean, if the memories aren't in my fleshy bits, how's someone going to heal it? You'd have to pluck memories out of somewhere else-- like the past. That's more Ephebe's bag, right? Plus, randomly testing theories out? no point. I can adapt."
Just a little too late, Rena remembers that she's supposed to be playing the role of a pet or similar, and there's a horrified look from a townie just walking out their door which causes Rena to sink down alongside Tryko'Sam. "Well, you just sounded frustrated and I was trying to help. If it's more of an annoyance, then I suppose there's nothing for it but to make sure it doesn't happen again." Rena says as they go along, no real destination in mind, unless Tryko'Sam himself is leading them somewhere. "I'm your friend though, and so I'll help you if I you need it, okay?" the huge monster says, almost hopefully on the part about being his friend. "If we're not going to eat... what do you want to do? Usually I just tag along with Vare and have naps when I get bored, so I'm not really sure what to do with my free time."

Vai Sunwake |

Aananda doesn't get an immediate answer from her daughter, though through the telepathy she gets a sense that Vai's trying to compose herself before answering. After a minute or so, Vai's response comes, though still a little riddled with emotion - guilt and regret primary among those. ::Maybe I should just stay in my room until I get my temper under control.:: she says bitterly, her telepathic voice small. ::That was twice in as many hours Mom. What if it's getting worse? I don't want to be that person. It makes me feel horrible when I shout like that. Even right now my stomach feels all twisted up.::
She sighs and tries to relax. She fills her mind with pictures of Fei's smiling face... his calm yet strong demeanor. The knot in her stomach starts to undo itself gradually. ::Mom... there were more of those little bits... we lost most of them in the sewer. Is that... bad? They'll probably be dying too right?::
Once she's more calm, she gets up off her bed and sets her hand on the wall, looking for Professor Razule with the arrows. She still continues to talk to her Mom as she's walking along.

"Dennis, I can't get an ID from this, but...extra security precautions on all of the factory's facilities is in order. Whoever is doing this, it's personal. I'll let James and Fieri know to be extra careful. You too. You're known to be close to them."
"I'd focus the investigation on people with a known grudge. Ex-employees, people who may have suffered financially due to the new factories...that sort of thing. This looks way too personal to just be about hating technology. Maybe someone who really hates dragons. It would absolutely grate seeing one being accepted and successful."
Ephebe |

"Ah, dragons. I've heard the stories growing up. And I heard that there were dragons at Avalon too, though I had not expected them to be among the teaching staff. "Actually Uncle Ryo is human. He was adopted."
"Yes, they do. For a lot of them, there's nowhere else to go. Umm....what exactly did you and Uncle Ryo disagree about?"

"That's the basic beginnings of it, yes. Once we've lured her out we have to have contingency plans to make sure we don't lose her altogether so we can keep her on the run and on the defensive. So now we have the what and we need to worry about the how."
"Which means we should probably go get to work on planning this out and let the Headmaster and your mother get back to work as well."

::Vai Elspeth Sunwake, you are not a bad person just because you lost your temper and yelled. If you'd chomped him that would be different, but harsh words are all too common. Everyone loses their temper now and then. It's when it looks like it's leading you to violent action that I worry. You have to learn to let it go more quickly when you get angry. It's unrealistic to expect yourself to never get angry at all.::
::As for the pieces of...whatever this is...I'll keep this piece under observation. If it looks like it's regenerating then we can initiate a search and destroy mission.::

Carl "Ironfist" Promethium |

Carl says
"Best I go slow, faster is bad, but even so ill win" Carl says no more but sets off, he's going 50' but he's going strate up to the others direct root to town, once he can see the town he combat teleports 1d20 ⇒ 13 to hover over the town and waits for the others to get to him.
"Like I said, ill win, not that it means any thing, so lets fine an Ale house"
Carl drops to the street below.
Carl dose not seem to have cast any spells as such, just kind of done magic.

HRMS-XI "Hermes" |

The black shell on its back unfolds and crawls across its body until it is incased in a solid shell of black metal. Without even trying the bot now blends into the background.
1 + 55 - 10 - 2 = 44
As they get into the forest it disappears completely with ease.
1d20 + 55 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 55 - 2 = 68

Vare, the Summoner |

"Actually Uncle Ryo is human. He was adopted."
"Yes, they do. For a lot of them, there's nowhere else to go. Umm....what exactly did you and Uncle Ryo disagree about?"
"I see." Vare responds without seeming to care. One advantage of being able to see the dreamstate was that Vare had no real care /what/ people were - he never saw their physicial shapes anyway.
"The Headmaster thought I was using my position to... take advantage of one of my students. Which of course could not be further from the truth. Either way, she and I have agreed to... go a bit more slowly ourselves and to be discreet about it. I would appreciate your discretion on this matter."

Vai Sunwake |

Oooo Elspeth, that's a good middle name. ;D
::Yes Mom.:: Vai responds to the lecture quietly. ::I just... I don't even know why I get so angry. I never used too.::
There a long pause before: ::Did Dad tell you what I almost did when I went to my home planet?::
She continues to follow the arrows towards the alchemy professor, intent on that nausea curing recipe.

Dom Waverider |

As Mel stepped on Dom's foot he stuck his tongue out at her. Turning his attention back to Raelle. "Guess she doesn't want me to show you a memory of her in a dress that made her looks like a poodle on it's hind legs." He smiled to Raelle. "I how about we make our way to Tami and Ginni?" He looks back at the two girls talking amongst themselves. Raelle could easily tell he payed special attention to Tami while he looked.

Ephebe |

Ephebe wrote:"Actually Uncle Ryo is human.
"You know this school runs on gossip right?" she asked, amused. "Look, you're young for a teacher. Stuff happens. Going slowly is good. But discretion? Good luck, and have a backup plan for when things go horribly wrong....And if she's in your class either get her transferred out immediately or break it off with her. That's unethical in all the wrong ways and it doesn't just look bad. It is bad. Even if you don't mean it that way it's a horrible abuse of authority."

Aanandareavekki |

Oooo Elspeth, that's a good middle name. ;D

That's how Taron got his middle name too, in the middle of a lecture. :D
::Did you not get angry before? Or were you just too afraid to show it?::
::Yes, he told me, sweetie. And I'm here whenever you want to talk.::

Raelle del Sol |

As Mel stepped on Dom's foot he stuck his tongue out at her. Turning his attention back to Raelle. "Guess she doesn't want me to show you a memory of her in a dress that made her looks like a poodle on it's hind legs." He smiled to Raelle. "I how about we make our way to Tami and Ginni?" He looks back at the two girls talking amongst themselves. Raelle could easily tell he payed special attention to Tami while he looked.
"It's cute. The way you're so obviously gone over Tami. You two go well together."

Ori Reading |

A sudden shiver of dread washed over her and then passed leaving panic in its wake.
"What in the...?"
"Oh, gods, I've screwed everything up again, haven't I? I'm so sorry. I should have...planned better...waited longer....something...you deserved better than a ....paper tent in the woods your first time...."
"We should go back...blast it, where did I toss my pants?"

Tamina |

Tami stood up and kissed Dom, lingering longer than strictly necessary.
"Mmm. As much as I'd like to continue with that it's almost time to kick you guys out. Vai should be here any minute and even if she's not, we're gonna start girls night."
"Will you still be awake later tonight? I'm...thinking of having another sleepover at your place," she said with a shy smile.

Sounds like romance to me. ;D

"Thanks Raelle, but I'm not that head over heels." He glances to Tami then responds back to Raelle with a grand smile. "Maybe I am."
Dom slipped his arms around Tami as she kissed him. Once she pulled away and told him it was time for the girls night he looked at her with puppy dog eyes. "My place is your place, but I'll try to get the dancing girls out before you get there." He told her with a mischievous smile.

Salis of Bletherad |

A sudden shiver of dread washed over her and then passed leaving panic in its wake.
"What in the...?"
"Oh, gods, I've screwed everything up again, haven't I? I'm so sorry. I should have...planned better...waited longer....something...you deserved better than a ....paper tent in the woods your first time...."
"We should go back...blast it, where did I toss my pants?"
Salis looked at her with a sad and confused eyes.
"Did I do something wrong? Deserve better that being in Nature with you? Should we have done this in a Brothel? I don't understand. Is there something wrong. Is it I haven't paid? I didn't think you wanted to be paid." He passes her the pants that had some how ended up on the other side of him. He slipped his robe on his heart had sank. He didn't understand what he had done wrong to get such a reaction from Ori. It was probably over before it had really begun is all he could think. "You don't want to see me again do you?" He asked while hanging his head.

Melody Waverider |

"See that you do...and make sure to clean up the glitter....it gets into everything and can really cause some uncomfortable chafing later on," she responded with a wink.
Mel just smiled like she knows exactly what Tami is talking about.
she whispers to Tami
Have I got a story for you

Ori Reading |

Salis looked at her with a sad and confused eyes.

He asked while hanging his head.
"What?" She squeaked. "Have you completely lost your mind? Is that really the only way sex happens where you come from, as a transaction? Of course I don't want to be paid. And of course I want to see you again. Often. In varying states of dress....or undress....which I am trying not to think about too much at the moment as I really think we should get back to the school before dark and keeping my libido in check is clearly a problem for me."
She put her hands on the side of his face to make sure he was looking at her while she spoke. "You did nothing wrong. You...this...was amazing. Honestly. I just....I feel like I let you down. Like I didn't make this special enough. Because it is. Special. You are special. And I...should have done more to show you how special you are to me."

Dom Waverider |

"See that you do...and make sure to clean up the glitter....it gets into everything and can really cause some uncomfortable chafing later on," she responded with a wink.
He laughed before giving her a kiss. Slowly he slipped his hands off her side and teased. "Don't worry I'll give the room a good rinsing." Slowly he me made his way to the door, only looking back to wink at Tami.

Salis of Bletherad |

"What?" She squeaked. "Have you completely lost your mind? Is that really the only way sex happens where you come from, as a transaction? Of course I don't want to be paid. Salis place his own hand upon hers. "I'm glad that you enjoyed it as much as me, but there is no way this could be anymore special. He have had our time here in nature. Just you and me, shaded by your magic." He slow stood from his position smiling to her and offering her a hand up.
"As for sex as a transaction. I am sure there were other ways like this but those I traveled with only did it through transaction. I didn't think... Maybe that is why I said it. I wasn't thinking or perhaps I was thinking to much. I think I am rambling now." He smiled to her hoping to lighten the mood. That he had darkened with his original comment.

As Dom winked to Tami Dom looked to Mel. Slowly he pulled out a memory crystal and slightly waved it to her. The door closed cutting off Dom and Mel's view of each other.
Mel would know of Dom's memory crystals and has probably seen or used a few.
