Kevin or my Arthur always end up as Weird Al because they're both nerdy.

Wouldn't Melody's 'psionics' be detected by Tybalt's seeing magic, or whatever he has, due to the transparency discussed at one point-- or are we saying 'detect magic' doesn't spot psionics when they are used?

Tybalt doesn't detect magic constant, but I was wondering the same thing.
If I had to take a guess, I'd think that because of transparency, detect magic/psionics see each other, but recognize that it is different.
Tybalt is planning on trying to see what happens if she can try it again on purpose.

Tybalt has better.
Analyze dewomer constant.

Mel's psionic stuff is all spontaneous, she has no constant effects active.

it would be like using detect magic is see if a wizard is about to shoot you with a magic missile or a fireball.

so far she used Time Hop and Mindlink and they were both done as instantaneous effects. the mindlink would have been block as soon as Tybs realized it was happening and that would have ended the power.

And that works, so long as you have arcane sight, not detect magic.
