Tell that to the five doctors.
Just so long as The Reapers don't get involved, I'm good. . .
Tybalt Baneko
But this is the one place in game I know what I'm talking about.
Dom Waverider
Well the doctors are not suppose to cross there own path, it causes a paradox. Then there the Five doctors that tybalt mentioned not to sure hat happened there.
Tybalt Baneko
They can cross paths. They do often. It's when you alter a fixed point that stuff goes bad. Or you look into the heart of the Tardis. But you get to be awesome for a while before it kills you.
Melody Waverider
I really don't think Mel's song is a fixed point.
but usually the doctor would only involve himself with previous regernerations was due to outside factors forcing the event.
(in the classic series it was the the timelord high council)
(in the new series it was typically some existing paradox or event)
except maybe the episode "the two doctors" where #6 bumped into #2

I saw an england only minisode where there were like three Matt. The different regens part makes it easier on the special effects crew. ;)

No, but bringing in a dragon PC takes a whole lot more work to make the backstory work because of the setting. It's pretty well discouraged unless the player is very familiar with the setting and even then it takes a long time ironing things out behind the scenes to make things work.

Would the creepy masked man outside the wards control that we let run around the school and terrorize people please report to the science lab. We're having an issue with the magical source that we all depend wholly on to keep us safe.
Thank you and have a nice weekend.

On screen. . . . He could have a bunch of people he scares/pisses off/annoys off screen.
I'd love to see him and Keme go after each other.

Bunches of fun are going on in the school and I'm in a volcano with temporally locked aasimar. :/
GM Fireclaw
just wondering if Mel can sense any temporal stuff going on? if there is any that is...
Nope, there was just that first blip.
"Ace"
Are both FCD and Dami running this together or is this two separate events, just occuring at the same time???
Dom Waverider
something tells me Zilla really isn't having a good day.
Wait didn't Salis just mention that we put to much faith in the wards?
GM Fireclaw
This my own thing, Dami did ask for my permission to blow the infirmary. Gotta give Lyn some surprises after all.
But. Dami's thing is desperate from mine. He's just taking advantage of the wards being down.

roel teleports into the explosion room, hearing the sound. Blindsight 90ft. What does he see?
goo teleports into a dispel magic spell and gets shunted 20 feet away per caster level for a total damage of 320 ft away and 16d10 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 6, 3, 7, 6, 10, 8, 5, 6, 3, 5, 10) = 87 points of damage for the spell being unraveled while he is inside it
Yrrin Lightbringer
actually if someone from a location tries to teleport into a dispel at the same time the dispel goes off (its a very precise timing thing... but it can happen) this is the effect
it can also be done with a contengency spell
imagine if you would the teleport from Star Trek and what would happen if someone cut the power while you were only half teleported
Dom Waverider
does Hew and Zilla need to make the dc 30. If so Hew needs a reserection spell.

:isn't touching the 'at the same time the dispel goes off' with a ten foot pole:
I still need you to clarify your total Dispel Roll, Yrrin.
It's 1d20 + your caster level. Please advise. It might not affect Roel's teleport, depending on his caster level and such too.
@Edit/Addition: Given that Yrrin's d20 was a 16, and he's totaling 30 on his Dispel Magic roll, that means his caster level is effectively 14. Poof, the Cloud Kill effect is gone in the Infirmary, but there are still remaining things.
Unless we're just assuming spells automatically work-- Villian's will /love/ that. :)

Uh-- Perception roll? Let's say ... 35 for you folks chatting away at the pool table.
If you /do/ make the roll, it's more of a muffled explosion and such, but there would be some billowing light smoke from one of the rooms.
Sound fair?
