My thoughts exactly. That's morning sickness, not teleportation sickness...
It's an Aananda thing....she gets some morning sickness, too, yes, but also really nasty teleportation sickness. The rest of the time she can teleport just fine with no vomiting at all. :P
I remember I had the starcaster make Vai nauseated because she wasn't used to teleportation and Aananda thought Vai was pregnant with Aegythrax's baby.
Was a good moment. ;D

Damiani: A small note. 120mph is actually incredibly slow for an object making planetfall. Orders of magnitude slow. This may be intentional... but an object travelling that slow would not make a sizable crater.

No worries Lyn, if it helps, I was thinking we would be finished at the start of the last period, or maybe a little after the start. Ace really wants to go kick some ass in APE.
This also frees up Ginni, who can either go to her last class, or maybe go and check up on Rae? Of course, if she really wants, Ace will let her sit in on his APE class.
Given that it's a firebird only assembly, I can take this one if you want.

Edit: Also, I believe Fei failed to concentrate sufficiently for a second teleport. They may not be anywhere near school grounds.

At this point, whatever burned up on the initial stage one, might be very difficult to spot-- it's maybe a mile or two off from the school, small (one hex or less) object.

Fireclaw has the right of it. Fei teleported only once, but he tried to get himself to a good distance from Avalon and Kuros so as not to endanger anyone. If it helps to promote a plot idea, I think I can realistically put that point within 1-2 miles of the school. This would also allow for the 'boom' to be noticed by folks.
Is there something else more specific you're looking for with this? Let me know and I'll try to accommodate as best I can with this.

Just curious if it was near or opposite (considering the 270 degrees you would have gone to avoid School & Kuros initially.
Thus-- falling object, school rumbles, object vanishes from flaring in sky, now a boom.
Might throw some folks off, but I've been accused of being too detail oriented. Looks like we had similar thoughts today!

If Tyb hears a big boom he is definitely gonna stop and see what happened. He always wants to do anything he can to help people. Compasion he holds for people is unending. This also might be what Fei needs since he's out of the wards.
If Tybs felt the boom, Vai did too... and Vai's got the intelligence to make the connection... especially after Fei's display in the infirmary.
Especially if Aananda shows up in the infirmary...

Just to be clear, there are now two groups that may cross-interact outside, and two situations that are occuring in roughly the same area.
Fei group: Roel, Tybs, Vai, David(?)
Falling Star group: Lang, Sheess, Melody, Morrivan, Dom.

Roel has teleport, can get there equally as fast, and has hearing based blindsight, so he defiantly heard. I'd say he'd get there about the same time as you.... Oh, wait.
