A dark-haired woman with a mask exists the fog, and a wave of death proceeds before her, catching all of the Pathfinders, as well as the woman's own companions, in its path.

One of the figures curses as he awakens from his slumber, stands, and retrieves his dropped weapon from the ground.
The second also stands, and a magical ball of force flies from the mist to strike Elvik in the chest.

A dagger flies out of the mist, this time aimed at Stephani. It just clatters off her neck-guard, missing vital parts by an inch.
A voice almost giggling with glee sends more magic at Stephani, and she just barely raises her heavy wooden shield in time to avoid another narrow miss. Both attacks missed by 1! Your father is with you!
Serak throws another ball of acid at the woman who has been sending waves of dark energy over the party. She winces as it burns through seams in her armor, but otherwise remains defiant.

Still no Starling, so I'll delay her again until the next block.
"What the...!? Where'd she go!?" the cleric calls out as Stephani disappears. "I have some tricks, too!" she says as she creates an illusory double of herself. Basically the same as mirror image, but there's only one image.
She lashes out with her short sword at the place where she last saw Stephani, but does not connect with anything. She appears to be swinging out of mere frustration.

I'm still here - didn't have anything to post for a while, then had no internet for a day, and Paizo was down for me for a few hours when I did get internet access earlier today. Just for general future knowledge - I'm traveling in Eastern Europe for the next month so I generally get internet access once per day.

Nago sends his crocodile on the attack, and the creature responds rapidly. Seeing two identical copies of the woman, it picks one and latches on to her leg. Thrashing its head back and forth, it causes tremendous damage. The woman screams and goes down cursing before falling into unconsciousness.
The man's voice says "I've had enough...I'm out of here!" He throws a dagger at the crocodile, but then retreats into the mist.
Not so with the remaining woman. Laughing with glee, the sorceress that has been obscured by the mist steps forth, and raising a hand unlooses a vivid spray of color at those in front of her.
Stephani, Wolf, and Crocodile need to make DC 14 Will saves or be unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 4 rounds.

Searching the enemy, the group find various valuables. After alerting the authorities, they return to the lodge to report.
Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin thanks the group for carrying out his tasks, and assures them that not every mission for the Pathfinder Society involves running errands about Absalom. He congratulates them on proving their skill and responsibility, and promises them a new assignment in the near future to take them beyond Absalom’s unassailable walls.
