Archetypes that give spellcasting?

Homebrew and House Rules

I'm curious about this. Do people think this could ever be balanced? We already have archetypes that are balanced by diminished spellcasting, and this is kind of just the opposite.

How MUCH spellcasting?

There are traits that let you cast a spell, Rogue talents that give abilities that simulate magic... Of course the Sorcerer Bloodlines tagged on with the Eldrich heritage that are essentially spells...

I could see some minor spellcasting ability being added on in an 'almost multiclassing' way....

MOST classes have some form of spells ANYWAY, so it's really only a very few that would benefit from it.

The example I had in mind was something akin to ranger casting, perhaps lower.

I could see 'give up XXX, and be able to cast a spell x + modifier' times a day... and do that for a couple of abilities... like each armor training for a fighter would substitute a 1st 2nd and 3rd level spell... Give them some flavor without taking anything away from the ACTUAL casters...

but to transfer over a whole chart... it would PROBABLY be better to just multiclass or go some other class. either Magus, ranger, bard etc...

Sorry, I meant similar progression as a Ranger. But with a highly controlled spell list.
