Vag, doesnt force haze have pre-req?
Clear Mind Reroll Use the Force check when avoiding detection from other force-users.
Force Haze {Clear Mind} Conceal you and allies in haze to avoid detection from others in line of sight.
[] is the pre-req.

My fault. I had an unexpected sick day yesterday and spent it fighting off a head cold. Back today!

I agree with Jax. I was assuming that When left some of his Jedi training stuff hidden in the clinic and would want to get that back plus her sbquarterstaff. He usually hides his lihjtsaber on him.

Kinda of a dumb question but does the quarterstaff have to be wood? I am thinking of something more along the lines of what Gambit from the X-MEN uses. I think it also grows and shrinks.

I am looking at some of the Consular talent trees, they are pretty neat.
Has anyone played the new version of the game, I think it is from Fantasy Flight. I got the first book, the book on the Rebellion, and the new Beta on the Force. Interesting but so different, at least in my opinion, from d20. Is there the ability to customize like in the Saga?

The quarterstaff can be a small metal cylinder that expands. This is Star Wars, after all, where we have laser swords!
I have not looked at the new system. I played the new Warhammer Fantasy and there were so many dice and so little actual gaming in a three hour session that I was turned off the whole system. Might give it a go one of these years.

            Thanks for the staff!
The new game has lots of dice and while I have the books, I kinda collect them, I haven't played. I like playing Jedi and they were not really an option until Force and Destiny. Even then, they are not as customizible as the D20 system. I played teh d6 version and I prefer the d20.

So I have been reading up on the different types of Jedi on Wookiepedia like the Counselors and the Sentinels, etc. If I am understanding right, the Counselors are more apt to use the Force than the Guardians. The Guardians are more apt to have aggressive negoiations with the lightsaber and the sentinels are the mix?

Seems about that way, I played the Knights of the Republic game , and that's essentially the mold it followed. I'm not sure if it originated before that.
Ren, sweet deception roll!
Seems like a pretty sweet deal. Maybe Switch will be keeping tabs on us and waiting to sell us out. But maybe a good informant with his ear to the ground and a a working knowledge of how to run his operation on the down low will be a good ally in the coming rebellion.
Decisions!

In games I've been in that are theatre of the mind, initiative isn't as important, so if someone's a bit slow in posting, missing their turn so to speak the DM just wraps everyone's actions up at the end of the roudn, botting if necessary.
Is that your intent, OMB? I know you want us to be cinematic etc, but do you want us to post in turn by inititive or just post as we can?

That is a good point Chel. Some of us are more active than others for whatever reason. It might be nice to know how things will be run. I still would like to say that I am really enjoying this and playing with all of you.

I see Initiative as more of tool in case two people try to do things at the same time or on the same target. In that case it's a simple matter of saying "X got the higher init, so he goes before Y."
If someone doesn't post within a reasonable amount of time, I prefer to skip them and let them catch up when they do post, so as not to bog anything down.
On a related note, this weekend is my local con, so I will most likely not be online at all until Monday.

Gotcha. Then you could just use it as a reaction to being hit by a shot. If it works, you take no damage.
