Niobe. Both the Cyclopes in the Black tentacles are dead. I've just reused those colors for the new arrivals. You can redo your action and it will go first.

Kung takes some powerful hits, but takes them in stride, his magically roughened skin absorbing nearly half of the blows that have rained down on him.

dont forger to take the Displacement into account too.

Kungrusdak Nosvunkuk |

Good point, Jane; there's been a miss chance on every hit that Kung has taken so far. @GM, sorry I forgot about that; there are a lot of conditions to track! What should we do?

Niobe Aptos |

With the cyclopes in the black tentacles crushed, Niobe hustles up next to Jane and hurls her fire at the great cyclops.
This does mean that I take a -4 for firing into melee, but it's a touch attack so maybe it still hits.
Hoping that the black tentacles to my left will prevent those cyclopes (green and yellow) from coming up to melee.

Maddie Heberne |

Maddie moves up to the newcomers and introduces Purple, Orange, Blue, and the different thing to the Slow spell.

Two out of three misses on Kung. So only 16 pts damage in the end. :(
Marnir rushes to the aid of his loyal crewman, slamming his axe hard into Orange.
Strengthened by arcane defenses Kungs laughs with joy, only a glancing blow form one of the Cyclopes troubling him. In response he shows them how to really kill! Cutting Blue down with two brutally elegant strikes, his magical speed lets him turn and blindside Orange as the Cyclops is still facing Marnir.
Jane sends her wasps at the Leader and his nearest goon.
Fort Yellow: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Fort Purple: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Yellow winces as he feels his extremities going numb.
Niobe, you're not firing into melee, as Purple is using his reach to attack Kung.
Niobe gestures and fire slams into the Great Cyclops, who howls as it sears him.
Maddie spots her opportunity and magic blankets the group of foes.

Damn, you're right Kung! I should have had the boss Cyclops slam Marnir right into it.
Kung moves as the Great Cyclops does and again his blade flashes, blood spraying the surrounding as he cuts him down with several deadly blows.
Bossman dies, the other two are both slowed and wounded. So handwave time. They are dead!
The final Cyclopes slumps to the ground, as dead as the others. Too arrogant and brutal to realize that they had finally met more than their match.

With the last of the cyclopses dead, Marnir has time to breathe. "Good work everyone, maybe they'll think twice about coming after us now." He looks round at the piled-up corpses and their somewhat crude equipment. "Let's try and get all this mess hidden away. I doubt our arrival will have gone unnoticed but let's not make more of it than we need to." He grabs one of the bodies by the arm and starts dragging it behind the stand of trees.

It's the little box at the bottom of all of my combat posts, same as Kung, next to where it says Stats:. Click on that and you'll see all the relevant information. It's called a spoiler because that's the BBCode tag you have to use. Like this:
Here's what a spoiler box looks like.
I used to update my stats line but it got unmanageable with lots of spells and effects so I copied Kung's method. Now my stats line is pretty much just for keeping track of the number of spells and limited-use abilities I have left.
"Much better now, thanks Niobe" Marnir says, gingerly prodding at his now less bruised chest.

GM_DBH |

Having cleared most of the occupants I'll race you through the rooms.
G10. DINING HALL.
The sharp tang of woodsmoke fills this building, where a giant fire pit set with roasting spits takes up the northern half of the room, positioned just below an open hole in the roof.
G11. MONEY CHANGER.
Smashed tables and chairs, all sized for giants, lie scattered about this building's single, large room.
Treasure: Long forgotten among the detritus of Sumitha's ruin, several ancient coins from vanished empires can be found scattered about the room. All told, they're worth a total of 2,500gp to various collectors.
G12. MAGISTRATES' HALL
A large brass door provides access to this ruined hall, though an additional hole gapes in the northeast wall. Inside, much of the roof has long since collapsed and a garden of vegetation has taken root.
G13· LEGATION.
The architecture of this building is markedly different from others in the valley-it appears to have been built for human-sized occupants.
The architecture and cultural trappings of this building belong to ancient Azlant rather than Ghol-Gan.
G14 FOUNDERS COURT
Beyond the double doors of this wide portico lies a huge chamber, only weakly illuminated by giant lamps suspended overhead. Very large sleeping pallets cover most of the floor space, and two more sets of double doors lead north and south.
G15. TRAINING HALL.
A bloodstained fighting circle takes up the center of this long, rectangular hall. To the west stand three human-shaped archery targets,
while two weapon racks line the opposite wall.
G16. BALCONY.
Stairs lead to this covered balcony carved into the mountain face. It overlooks most of the valley as well as the portico below.
G17. HALL OF CHAMPIONS.
Six columns carved to resemble huge cyclopes in decorative armor support the ceiling of this immense chamber. Fallen rubble blocks passageways to the north and southeast, but double doors still stand in the north wall and an other set of double doors leads farther south. In the northeast corner, a giant animal hide is stretched across the floor beside a pile of bones stripped of meat. Several dinosaur skulls hang from the western wall.
G18. CROSSROADS.
Several statues and two ornate runic circles stretch along this rubble-strewn hall. Several exits have been blocked by a cave in, but a single open passage, its dusty floor marked with giant-sized footprints, leads eastward.
The runic circles here are teleportation circles that once connected Sumitha with other outposts. The northeastern circle no longer functions, its paired circle destroyed long ago in the fall of Ghol-Gan. The southwestern circle still connects to another circle but as that circle is out of attunement, it is currently nonfunctional as well.

Marnir Saltvig |

Marnir takes in every detail he can of the now-deserted areas of the cyclops' ruins, marvelling at the ancient stonework but keeping his axe in hand and his wits about him, just in case.
"Hold on," he says, stopping abruptly. "Those two statues look a bit suspicious to me. I don't think they're normal statues." With all the collapses and rock falls, Marnir isn't sure that there's another way around.
GM - which two columns are the caryatids?

Niobe Aptos |

As the team explores, Niobe mentions, "I have a spell prepared that will let me reshape stone, if we need to force open a passage or rebuild rubble."
@Maddie: He didn't update the hit points in his stat bar until after midnight. The whole time I was asking, it just showed 93/93. He didn't update until after I did the healing.

Marnir Saltvig |

Seeing Kung attack the statue and the statue attacking back isn't a big shock to Marnir. He wades in alongside, his axe swinging and hacking to the rhythm of his war song.

Marnir - Caryatid column
The Columns are carved to resemble large Cyclopes females, their hands holding large Falchions. So Jane your bolt missed.
Marnir joins Kung, his blow making the stone creature rock with its power. Kung finishes off the shaken thing, his weapon not effecting it as much as Marnir's.
The other Caryatid moves steadily from it's mount and swings at Maddie. 10' reach
Falchion: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (9) + 19 = 28
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 1) + 10 = 16

Marnir Saltvig |

As one statue crumbles to dust Marnir turns to engage the other. "It's immune to magic," he calls as he runs past Niobe and Maddie. "Unless you can turn it to mud or flesh. Oh, and it'll try to destroy your weapons if you hit it." He tries to roll beneath the huge stone blade the statue is wielding before standing up, continuing his song, and striking it with his axe.

Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

More Touch of Rage for you Kung. +5 morale bonus to hit, damage, and will saves.
