You kids about ready to call it a night
I believe we are :D
Ashlei 'Burnout' Mamoud
Whomever is wearing that Breastplate that allows someone to walk on water, they should get out there right quick and help defend the ship!
Running out to the battlements while getting her Chain shirt back on and replacing her weapon's belt, she curses out loud and grabs the nearest guard.
"Besmara's buckles! We need to defend the ship! Can we get out there in time? Will these catapults reach the enemy ship?"
Neela
"I can fly. And I can help someone else fly back too - who should I pick?"
Neela uses the Flight hex to fly herself. The next round, she casts Fly on someone assuming there's a decision about who to send back.
If nobody has a better plan, she picks Captain Percival, because that just seems natural.
Ashlei 'Burnout' Mamoud
I vote the captain should fly, unless he's wearing the breastplate. Otherwise any one of us would make a good choice. A Spellcaster would be the best priority? Randall can inspire the whole ship if he sings well enough when he get's there.
@GMTFY: If I climbed up onto a catapult and launched myself...could I make it to OUR ship at least? Or would I probably hit the water? I could spend a point of Panache for Derring-Do and hopefully get a decent bonus to my acrobatics check to hit/land on the ship? And...I own Boots of the Cat....so I technically could possibly survive the attempt? =) Ifnothing else it would make a great story!
Rhialla "Buxom" Blackwater
You really are cray cray Ash
Rhialla "Buxom" Blackwater
If Percy has the breastplate he can run across the water (pretty damn bad ass introduction to our Captain) and I'll fly back with Neela. Or I can wear the breatplate and walk across the water, using my alter self ability to actually look like depictions of Besmara to demoralize them into thinking the ship's name is more than just a choice. Percy flies back with Neela.

I can run across the water that sounds fun. and dont go getting yourself splattered Ashlei. :P Well at least not against our boat.
Herzag
Just don't mess up the hull!
Wouldn't it make more sense putting someone stronger to fly, and then that person could carry another?
Ashlei 'Burnout' Mamoud
Too much weight ruins the spell I think. And I won't just 'Splatter' I'll be creating new and exciting 'art!' Besides...I could land on an enemy! =)
Randall McNelly
Waking with a wicked hang over, Randall blurts, "Wah?" before taking up his pack and rushing to see what was going on.
"It'll be the rowboats for those of us who can't get over quick like!" he stated nervously, not really wanting to row at the moment.
So long as it is less than Maximum weight, another person can be carried. Medium and heavy lods reduce speed to 40' per round. Not sure any of use have the requisite strength to pull that off though. As for who should fly, I am ok with whatever, though agree that the sooner we can get a few buffing spells in the mix, the better it would be for the crew.

That's completely ridonkulous...Of course you can do it. Roll a d20 add your BAB and panache and make an acro check. Who wants to launch Ashlei?
Ashlei 'Burnout' Mamoud
Catapulting Myself!!!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
OK that's...not great.

Herzag
So... You go COMPLETELY off the mark, but with a LOT of style? :D
Ashlei 'Burnout' Mamoud
I would say...a non-moving ship is a BIG target. Hitting it should be easy enough? (AC5 plus any range penalties?) Whether she DAMAGES the ship when she hits...that's another story entirely! =) Her boots might save HER, but it won't protect the ship! Seriously...I'm hoping to control my shot in the air a little and maybe hit a sail, bounce off (or tear through) and slow down enough to make a somewhat normal (but semi-painful) acrobatic landing. Hey GM? Can I do a three point hero landing? (Like in DEADPOOL?) =) Dust flying and everything! Think of the intimidate check! The boots say I always land on my feet! (Of course I could have my knees driven through my hips too, but whatever...)
Neela
That was AMAZING!!!
Neela instinctively ducks as Ashlei flies over her via catapult. "Wow! Okay. I guess we'd better catch up. Come on, Randall, you can go inspire the crew! Although really, if Ashlei didn't inspire them just now . . ."
Neela casts Fly on Randall, then begins trying to catch up herself!
Rhialla "Buxom" Blackwater
Can't really do all that much since none of my spells have anywhere near the range to be effective. How far is the ship from the tower?

As far as i can tell, the effects of waterwalk do no prohibit me from oh... carrying anyone as i run on water.
"Well then, we will return Wife once the threat is dealt with."
He said as deadpan as possible reaching over and picking up his true paramour and rushing torwards the surf... he thought this would work... at least from how the magic of the breastplate was described to him.

One of the things I like to do with my homegroup is when someone rolls really well and a 50 is really good. Is to let them describe how this scene unfolds. You definitley landed on the ship unhurt, how you got there is up to you.
Can't really do all that much since none of my spells have anywhere near the range to be effective. How far is the ship from the tower?
Let's say 1000', keep in mind it is 3 am on a moonless night

I don't see any reason you could not carry someone, go for it

Focusing on the air flying by, Ashlei tucks in and spins with the catapult's throw, hoping to reach the highest range she can get without slowing herself too much.
Once gravity begins to kick in, she unfolds herself and steadies her flight, aiming for the quickly approaching ship's deck! She can't help but smile to herself as she passes a startled night-flying seagull who drops some guano and flaps away awkwardly.
Stretching out her arms and hands, she realizes she has more control over her flight arc than she realized before! Aiming for the largest sail on board the Besmara's Bounty, she prays the often-repaired sheet can take her hit and still remain intact. Thank Besmara the sheet is open!
Laughing hysterically, Ashlei feels compelled to repeat her mother's favorite prayer!
"Besssssmaaaaaraaaaa'ssss WILLLLLLLLLL!"
*Slam-WHOOSH!*
Taking the hit against her back, not only does the sheet hold, it slows her speed tremendously! Although the hit does knock the air from her lungs leaving her gasping as she suddenly bounces back and falls.
Seeing a guide rope out of the corner of her eye as she plummets, she reaches out, burning her bare hands lightly on the rope as it catches her fall and she spins around it like some circus expert.
Knowing the feeling of when to let go, she falls the last few yards to her safety on the main deck, knees bent and one fist hitting wood with a fleshy smack.
*Kof-KOF! HuuuYUAAAHHH!*
Coughing weakly and wobbly as she tries to regain her breath and feet, she calls out as best she can.
"Cap'n...on his way. Re...PORT! Who is...attacking?"
Randall McNelly
Feeling himself become lighter, Randall takes to the air, working to close the distance between land and the ship. "Thank you much their! That will make this a bit easier," Randall shouts to Neela as the pair make for the ship.
Herzag
Herzag stares for a moment as everyone makes for the ship one way or another - "Yeah, never mind the Weapons Master when the ship is under attack..." - he grumbles to himself, looking for members of his crew to get a rowboat onto the water, and start moving towards the others.
Not sure I can get there in time to do anything.
Rhialla "Buxom" Blackwater
Witha burst of wild laughter as Percy races across the water with her in his arms, Rhialla utters a prayer to Besmara, outlining them both with an eerie bioluminescence adding to the effect. The new Lord of the Rock's arrival would be remembered by any of the dogs that survived this.

All of you make it back to your ship at different times using different methods. However your crew has held off the attack. This is an incredibly long combat sequence involving no less than 30 enemies. If it's alright with you all I am going to shrink it down significantly.
The ship attacking your ship is the Thresher a pirate ship captained by the foul Isabella "Inkskin" Locke an inhuman murderer and pirate. She and her crew are known for their rapacious cruelty and souless disregard for life. Captives of Captain Locke are fed alive to the sharks more often than not, and those are the lucky ones.

Herzag
There is really no chance for a map? So much in Herzag's fights depends on positioning and mobility... Is the first mate around?
Herzag took the opportunity and distraction afforded by the captain and Rhialla, sneaking aboard as silently as he could, dagger in his mouth.
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19
Then he simply sprang into action, leaping forward as he retrieved the dagger from between his teeth, to strike at the first unaware opponent.
