Sorry about the delay. Some friends ended up staying the whole weekend after Thanksgiving, which I didn't expect. Was fun, though!

Amari, you're right about reach templates, which helps you for an AoO but not the original attack. My correction is that he hits you from 20 ft away before moving.

Lo, I need a breakdown of that disarm roll as it beats his CMD by a small amount. The +1 is bardic inspiration, +8 is the weapon itself, +4 is from outflank, but where's the +2 come from since that wasn't the AoO, which you said you'd hold until later? If it was the AoO, then you don't get the +4 from outflank as Serenity wasn't in flanking position yet and didn't threaten him to give the +4 from paired opportunists.

Sorry to delay resolution more but I've had more time to look at the details of the situation here, which really matter!

If it were not for straining our luck, I'd ask our GM whether he resolved Zaz' grease she cast under the bad-guy...
While it certainly would be so much easier to stab'n'shoot him, if he had fallen prone, I'd rather take the lucky dice we had just now ;-)

Tactics (cont.):
I think it will be very risky to follow the man in there.
With zero sight, his lethal strikes and a mage at his back (not to mention that there may be traps or additional mooks in there), it sounds really dangerous to follow him in.
Of course, I lack ideas of how to approach other than to pepper them with ranged attacks, best from high ground they cannot easily reach.

You can withdraw while climbing, IMO. And I'm fine with splitting flurry targets.

Agreed this fight is kind of nuts but this guy is a professional and is doing his best to complete his mission and survive.

To be honest dont think the caster showing up on the map was the issue just hard when we cant see elevations to help determine spacing and reach.

I imagined it to be located in a rather far-off region with very few big inhabited places around - far from the closest official 'government', so any seddler nearby would have to rely on them for protection. Maybe not too far from the Taldan border as the closeness implies semi-frequent problems the Monastery defends against.
What would fit best?

I think our loot situation is getting a little disorganized. I consider this primarily a player responsibility but I'm keeping an eye on it and doing something when it seems like I should, as is the case right now. Has anyone been recording loot that hasn't been distributed yet? What about loot that hasn't been IDed yet? Should we create sections in the spreadsheet for this? Right now it looks like the spreadsheet has had some stuff added to it but hasn't been cleaned or arranged in months. I don't want you guys to be under-equipped just because the quartermaster roll wasn't clarified.

I'm shameless about incentivizing my players to take on OOC duties like being quartermaster. How about this? Whoever takes on the role of quartermaster gets an extra skill rank per level? Now that means the role has serious responsibility to organize the spreadsheet and make sure all loot is accounted for up until the point of allocating it to an individual.

I can try for some reason was thinking Zaza was doing it before the holidays and most likely that was when it got a little outdated...think I did an appraise check before but just in case.

And as far as the quartermaster job I can try but generally only able to check once a day since work blocked paizo, but let me know otherwise going to leave it alone currently.

Er, so anyone remember what the deal is with our 1,000 gold promissory note? Is that with our friendly quartermaster we're meeting now?

Are we allowed to sell the 2,000 gp contraband to said quartermaster or do we need to offload that elsewhere?

Also, Zaza is taking the Headband of Charisma +2. Who wants the Belt of Strength +2? And are spellbooks sold for half the cost of the spells therein (assuming they were scrolls)?

If we can answer these questions, I'll be able to calculate the gold everyone gets on top of the reward from our last mission.

Once upon a time, I made this post with some suggestions on dividing loot and claiming gold. Did people update their sheets accordingly? I know I didn't, so basically I think none of the loot has been distributed yet. Someone tell me if I'm wrong and they claimed a share.

If I'm right, everyone gets 1,511.7 gp in loot. Along with 2,250 gp each in mission rewards, that's a total of 3,761.7 gp, which is quite a nice sum.

Alright, well if you took the 632.12 gold from the previous post, then subtract that from the 3,761.7, which will give you 3,129.58 additional gp.

In addition to the Dex +2 belt, I have in my notes that you got the Amulet of Natural Armor +1. Which for all I know would've been pretty useful during that last fight. Although, do you want the second +2 Str belt? If so, I think Lo should get the Amulet.
