Dorvren fires as soon as the horses turn

Dorvren |

1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 1 = 22 for 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
might help to post the rolls

Aric Stenson |

Add in range penalties as appropriate then.
Aric draws a javelin from his furs, checks the wind, and throws it at the non-wounded one.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Alexandyr Sindre |

You know...I've not had a chance to cast it yet, so I'll cast....
Unnatural Lust on the lsurviving one and let its target be...Alex! Since, you know, having the target of its lust being Dorvren could be super hilarious but turn the game too far to humor.
Alex clears his throat, looking at the group as if to say "be ready", before singing out in a tone that he learned from a passing sailor who spoke of the dangerous power of the women who drove the ships to shoals. His focus seems to be on the one last individual attempting to flee from them.

Aric the hot potato has found its way onto you sir.
In your hands you find this unassuming little cap. Your almost certain it was grey but now it is of the purest white. You feel a need a calling you to the side man you felled. His blood sings to you. You want nay need to put the cap in it. Its what it was made for and then afterwards still fresh with the foes strength flowing through it it belongs on your head for all the world to see a bloody crimson warning that you are not to be trifled with that you have power of and perhaps are a Redcap......
You may save if you wish dc 20 will.... and shhhhh don't tell the others....

Aldiran Teldessar |

"Ma boys..." - Aldiran shakes her head at the arrow onslaught lain down by her companions.
Dorvren and Grimli, you guys decide which one of you is Merida :D
Am I correct in assuming they are all down? If so:
Rushing to their fallen foes, Aldiran makes her best to understand if any are still breathing, while commenting to the others with a smile - "Decisive action and all that, I see. But we still could benefit from information"
Untrained Heal to stabilize any one of them: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
After making sure there is at least one of them stable, she proceeds in tying him up, and chekcing their mounts, alerted by their bleeding.
Don't really know what to roll here:
Knowledge (Nature)?: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

Aldiran Teldessar |

"If accosted in the wild, with such requests for information, I would offer even less than they did" - Aldiran retorts - "In any case, the decision of keeping one of them alive for information is mine, as yours was the one to accost them as you did. To your decisions, I offer the respect I expect mine to have"

Dorvren reloads his bolt clip and leans against a tree. after searching the bodies and the saddlebags
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 percep

Grimgisli |

Oh, THAT choice is easy! Dorvren gets to be the girl in this relationship.
Grim will move to gather the "horses". "I'm really not sure what to do with these. They look to be part of the frozen problem, but they also look to be strong, sturdy, and capable in the snow."

Aric Stenson |

Aric takes the newly acquired cap and dips in the blood of a fallen enemy. The cap's previous color takes on a crimson hue as the power flows through it. He then admires it for a moment before placing it upon his head. No one will trifle with him today.

![]() |

As you gather them by the riegns you notice their bleeding mouths. They were kept in line with Triangle bits and other cruelties Grim. But as long as your gentle they come with you and are docile.
(Just google what a triangle bit is if you don't know. Them and sqaures are not. Ice for horses)
As Aric stands their with his bloody cap on power flow through his body changing him a bit from what he was. His hair goes white at the roots and his skin pales a bit.

.Morrigan |

Morrigan steps up to one of the 'horses' and pets its neck. "They may be useful, so long as we can win their trust. I wonder if they are of fey origin, or if they were changed?" Morrigan muses then cuts off as she spies Aric. Umm... speaking of change...

Dorvren |

That is a bit...unsavory Aric.
any phat loots?

Dorvren |

[b]You know the bloody hat, the new hairdo
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28 spellcraft

Dorvren |

It is covered in blood and it is alive, and mixes magics in a way I would have said not possible an hour ago., and it made your hair change color. Dorvren says matter of factly

Winter Blessed Horses. They are the product of a several century old breeding experiment where boreal and fey steeds were bred with regular horse to make them more serviceable mounts in places like Irrisen. They are Dimly intelligent and don't mind carrying and pulling and things so long as they are treated well and fed well. They view it as working for their keep. Plus people protect them from wolves and such. They do not like to fight but will bear riders who treat them well into battle.
Currently they are in bad shape and bleeding slowly from several places. Thus are at 1/2 hp and are exhausted.
These are trained as warhorses of the heavy variety the differences are as follows +2 str, con resist cold 10 speed +20ft and ice step: this creature may walk across the surface of any snow or ice as if it were hard ground and may or may not leave tracks as it wishes.

Grimgisli |

"Dorvren? Can you rig some halters?"
Edited after I looked at some triangle bit pictures. No way I can see to alter one of those into a halter. But I'm NOT an animal guy, so . . ..
Oh, and I would say these "horses" are the phat loot this time.

Dorvren |

dorvren searched above
Dorvren reloads his bolt clip and leans against a tree. after searching the bodies and the saddlebags1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 percep
I think I can do that. Bring them hear and I will see what I can do.

Grimgisli |

Thinking about how he would want something like that pulled off of his face, Grimgisli looks for buckles on the straps that go behind the head and tries to remove the bits in what should be the least painful method he can see. Once the three have been removed, he brings them to Dorvren.

Dorvren |

Some armor, basic weapons. Anyone able to Appraise this gem? Dorvren takes the gear to the party inventory keeper.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 Engineering to try to change the triangle bits to something that will not harm the horses. I suspect Dorvren will have to use his metal fists, putting them all in his hand and slamming them together to flatten them or something like that.
I will see what I can do. These things are similar to having a gear that slowly cuts into straps and chords. Idiotic.

Dorvren |

A living body is similiar to a machine in many ways, and they should be taken care of as such. If you care to wake this one I have a rather unpleasant method of making sure they speak. I do not particularly enjoy using it, but I suspect these men would have slit our throats in the night without a second thought.
