Zon-Kuthon sounds like a self righteous dude, Don't sign me up! I'm just curious but Edio shot the green sorceress with his gun that causes bleed damage on round 8. Did she heal herself or has she been bleeding? If you don't want to tell us I understand, I just thought it might have slipped through the cracks. I also think that the black tentacles has ended.
Nothing has been overlooked.

ZAO Zenkrikk Azler Oz |

Zao 5ft Steps with Eido, throws a Misfortune hex on the ranger (DC 16 will save with the -4 from the evil eye), and cackles to upkeep the evil eye.
Eido shoots the ranger in the face hopefully
attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 vs touch.
damage: 2d10 ⇒ (10, 8) = 18
bleed: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Gimble, The Storyteller |

ZAO/Eido move away from the ranger (5' Step), ZAO Hexes him, and Eido shoots the ranger in the neck, he's still up and looks at the both of you with intent.
Will vs. Hex: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 3 - 4 = 0 Misfortuned.
Griff is up with his delayed action.
Initiative, Round 13:
Red Mantis
Mik
Green Sorceress
Undead Quiet since the door has closed
ZAO
Griff
End of Round

Griff Olar |

Griff will take a 5; step in front of the doorway and cast :SCORCHING RAY: at the ranger Edio just shot.
1st ray: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 vs touch
2nd ray: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 vs touch
1st damage: 4d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 3) + 1 = 18
2nd damage: 4d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 1) + 1 = 12
Then as a move action Griff will close the door.
WOW that was a cruddy Scorching ray! remind me to get my fingers checked.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

@ZAO: Eido fires 2 shots and hits with both. Remember Bleed doesn't happen until the beginning of the ranger's turn, and the effects don't stack. I'll roll for the damage at the beginning of his turn since you rolled twice.
Griff fires to scorching rays at the ranger and hits with one.
Red Mantis:
At the bottom of the stairs (at the T in the hallway, a Large Ape appears. It starts toward ZAO:
@ZAO: Claw: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
The Ape slices ZAO across the abdomen.
Ranger: Bleed: 1d6 ⇒ 4
He takes a 5' step and another swing at ZAO.
Saber: 1d20 + 10 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 10 - 4 = 14
. . .but misses.
Green Sorceress:
You see her move down the hall, away from the action.
Initiative, Round 15:
Red Mantis
Mik Still Panicked (Round 5)
Green Sorceress
ZAO Eido is still Sickened (Lasts Minutes)
Griff
End of Round

Griff wrote:Then as a move action Griff will close the door.
So he did. Sorry, parents are still in town. I'll get more focused in a couple days; they leave tomorrow.
Instead, the ape continues down the hall and swipes (using the rolls above) at 1-Eido or 2-ZAO: 1d2 ⇒ 2
Edited post above.
The 25 hits ZAO, I believe, for the 11 Damage.

ZAO Zenkrikk Azler Oz |

Dah!!! Monkeys are supposed to be friends. You follow a mistaken God.
Eido moves by looping towards the spot but I think still incurs AOOs(end spot shown roll20) and starts to reload.
Zao casts shield on himself and starts contemplating how few spells he has left (still enough to be useful and escape if need be, but.....) while chanting to upkeep Misfortune and Evil Eye.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Sorry about the sporadic updates. Next week, I'll get back to my regular posting schedule.
Attacks of Opportunity
Ranger: Saber: 1d20 + 10 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 10 - 4 = 18
Ape: Claw: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
The Ranger and Ape each take a swing at ZAO as he moves away, but both miss.
Red Mantis:
Coming around the corner at ZAO is another Red Mantis agent, and she swings her 2-handed weapon at him.
Elven Curved Blade: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
The blade swings wide of its mark.
ZAO hears some movement from around the corner.
Mik is Up, no longer Panicked
Initiative, Round 16:
Red Mantis
Mik
Green Sorceress
ZAO Eido is still Sickened (Lasts Minutes)
Griff
End of Round

Mik PZ |

Mik will fly up to the closed door and pick up his beloved bow, if it is there. If it is dark and Mik cannot see, he will first cast Light on the back wall before moving up to the door, scanning for his bow.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Blue Ranger:
Bleed: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Pulls out a potion and drinks it.
Ape:
Claw: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 2 = 20
The Ape moves up and swings it claw at ZAO, but it just scrapes his armor.
@Mik: There is no light in the room . . . until you cast.
I also forgot to move the white Red Mantis Agent up to ZAO on his turn. That's the one that attacked
Initiative, Round 16:
Red Mantis
Mik
Green Sorceress
ZAO Eido is still Sickened (Lasts Minutes)
Griff
End of Round

ZAO Zenkrikk Azler Oz |

Zao chants to upkeep hexes on the ranger before Eido double moves the f#** out of there causing at least two AOOs though hopefully not a third from grapeape.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Apparantly the line didn't save, but I redrew it. It's the only way ZAO can go.
Attack of Opportunity:
White Agent: Elven Curved Blade: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
As ZAO starts to move, the Mantis Agent makes a wild swing but winds up hitting the wall. As ZAO turns the corner, a barrage of attacks heads his way.
ZAO Perception: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (11) + 22 = 33
ZAO sees the Green Sorceress fire a bolt of fire, The Ranger at the end of the hall fire her bow, and out of the corner of his eye sees a familiar wizard assassin, finish casting as a tiny red orb comes from her finger toward him.
Green Sorceress: Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
The Sorceress fires a bolt of fire at ZAO, hitting for Fire Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Green Ranger: Comp Longbow: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
The Ranger looses an arrow, but it flies right by hitting the wall behind them.
Wizard Assassin: A tiny red orb comes flying and explodes into a ball of fire right next to Eido and ZAO (Also engulfing Green Sorceress and White Agent) Fire: 7d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5, 6, 2, 6, 6) = 36 Reflex Save DC 20 for half damage.
Reflex Saves (G,W): 2d20 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5
Hidden Rogue: Out of the shadows, ZAO failed to see the gruff, rogue/fighter. He has scraggly black hair and beard in breastplate firing a crossbow at him. His left eye is squinted close as if he suffered a wound recently, but there is no visible sign of any wound.
Crossbow: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
He looses an arrow at ZAO, but can't seem to capitalize on a flat-footed ZAO as the bolt ricochets off his armor.
Does ZAO continue on with his double move down the hall?

ZAO Zenkrikk Azler Oz |

I have shield spell active currently so the ranged touch attack should have missed a 21.
I'm guessing those two doors are open.
The guessed movement was close enough for government work and yes I'll continue it, although I would like to extend 10 more feet further down the hall around the last corner please. I tried to move Zao in Roll20, but seem to have set him down somewhere I cant see him on accident, sorry.Hot damn that was a lot of readied action

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Shield specifically calls out that it applies against incorporeal touch attacks, which is a step up from a regluar ranged touch attack. I don't see how it could apply to one and not the other.
The Shield spell works the same as a Shield with Ghost Touch. It doesn't prevent a spell from hitting you, but helps prevent an attack from an Incorporeal source. A touch attack from an incorporeal source isn't a step up from a spell source, it's parallel. An incorporeal creature makes a "touch" attack because it bypasses corporeal sources, with some exceptions (a shield spell, ghost touch armor, etc.), as it makes a melee attack against its target. A spell just needs to make contact with its target which the shield spell and ghost touch armor and shields do not prevent.
Deflection bonuses do count toward your touch AC vs. both incorporeal attacks and spell touch attacks as they redirect the attack instead of just blocking the attack as a shield or armor would.

Mik PZ |

Mik will pick up his bow, and seeing that it is still visible, will stow it in his Handy Haversack.
If his bow is not on this side of the door, he will open the door and Mage Hand his bow to himself.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Mik will pick up his bow, and seeing that it is still visible, will stow it in his Handy Haversack.
If his bow is not on this side of the door, he will open the door and Mage Hand his bow to himself.
Mik picks up and stows his bow.
Red Mantis B (with the Red dots) is up.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Green Ranger:
Looking around the corner, she draws another arrow and fires at ZAO.
Comp Longbow: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Striking ZAO in the shoulder.
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Green Sorceress:
Moves to the corner and casts. A bolt of fire, a little hotter than the last one, comes from her hand at ZAO.
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Striking ZAO in the chest.
Fire Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 1) = 11
ZAO sees the blue ranger come toward him from the hall.
The ape follows the direction ZAO went.
From around the corner, the Rogue/Fighter moves up past ZAO and Eido. He seems to have lost his Crossbow and now wields a Falchion that looks awfully sharp and shiny.
ZAO make a perception check.
Initiative, Round 17:
Red Mantis A
Mik
Red Mantis B
ZAO Eido is still Sickened (Lasts Minutes)
Griff
End of Round

ZAO Zenkrikk Azler Oz |

Your initiative result becomes the count on which you took the readied action. If you come to your next action and have not yet performed your readied action, you don't get to take the readied action (though you can ready the same action again). If you take your readied action in the next round, before your regular turn comes up, your initiative count rises to that new point in the order of battle, and you do not get your regular action that round.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Perception=36
You noticed when the Rogue/Fighter fired his crossbow at you he seemed to glare at you and snear, obviously upset he missed his opportunity for precision damage. When he moved to block your way, the look on his face and in his eyes was different. The fire in his eyes is gone, and it's almost like he's a completely different person (though by strictly his appearance, he's the same).
I've posted an explanation of Readied Actions and Initiative in the discussion thread. Feel free to discuss. Unless I find some other ruling and I've been doing this wrong all along, things stay as they are.
It is ZAO's turn.

Griff Olar |

perception: 1d20 + 14 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 14 - 5 = 22 Did Griff hear Zao cast dimension door?
Griff will open the door, 5'step through the doorway. seeing two red mantis at the end of the hall casts Magic Missile(toppling spell), 4 missile's at the closest mantis, and 1 at the other.
4d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2, 3, 3) + 4 = 15
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
If the targets take damage they need to make a reflex save DC18 or be tripped.
Zao, Mik where are you guys?
Then as a swift action SHIFT 5' up and around the corner. end turn.

Mik PZ |

Mik will open the door and Stealth out into the hallway, drawing his Long Sword and sneaking up on Griff.
Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30
Whispering to Griff, My grandmother moves quieter than you.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

As the two toppled Red Mantis stand up and start to make their way toward Griff, from around the corner the wizard assassin pokes her head out. Mik (yes, I know you're invisible) sees her look right at him and cast.
Mik needs to make a WILL Save, DC 20.
As the spell goes off, the Fighter/Rogue takes cover in the side room, and the ranger moves up to Griff, just as Grape Ape comes barreling around the corner.
Initiative, Round 18:
Red Mantis A
Mik
Red Mantis B Red Dot
ZAO Bugged Out
Griff
End of Round

Griff Olar |

spellcraft: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25
waiting to see if Mik makes or fails his save.
Mik don't forget the +2 will save bonus from the spire, and the +2 vs enchantment for being an ELF.
P.S. if you fail this I will disown 2/3's of you. 8)

Griff Olar |

Griff will f' step back, and cast battering blast(toppling spell)at the ranger in front of him.
1st attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 vs touch
2nd attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 vs touch
1st damage: 5d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 6, 2, 3, 6) + 1 = 20
2nd damage: 5d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 6, 4, 4, 3) + 1 = 20
HOLY @#$%^!!!!
1st crit confirm: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
2nd crit confirm: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
1st crit damage: 5d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 3, 4) + 1 = 23
2nd crit damage: 5d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 5, 2, 5, 3) + 1 = 22
Griff will blink a couple of times
[spoiler=handjive] Mik follow me back into the room you just left.[/handjive]
swift action Griff will SHIFT into the room Mik left.
That was awesome!!!

Griff Olar |

I forgot about the bullrush
bullrush: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (19) + 27 = 46
bullrush reflex DC 20 or fall prone
toppling spell effect DC 20 or fall prone
Plus, if that guy isn't dead I'm find different work.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

WOW!!!
Griff hurls 2 balls of force at the ranger, playing deadly dodgeball, and an instant later there's nothing but pieces of ranger everywhere. Mik, you've got a little something right there . . . and there . . . and you might want to take a bath and wash your clothes. What's left of the torso slams against the wall behind him, and, yes, falls prone.
One of the Red Mantis agents moves up to Mik.
Mik's turn.
Initiative, Round 19:
Red Mantis A
Mik
Red Mantis B Red Dot
ZAO Bugged Out
Griff
End of Round

Mik PZ |

So when you say that one of the Red Mantis moves up to Mik, does Mik think that they see him? I will give two scenarios based on what Mik thinks, not what is actual.
If Mik doesn't think so, Mik will strike with his Long Sword for a Sneak Attack, feeling confident that his Invisibility will help him out.
If Mik thinks so, he will use his once per day Impromptu Sneak Attack for a Sneak Attack.
Long Sword: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Reg Damagge: 1d7 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Sneak Attack Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3) = 6
Mik will then move in front of the door and disappear, utilizing Shift to move 10' into the room at the corner.

Gimble, The Storyteller |

Sorry, that was my misake. in my haste, I left out the verbal part of the turn. You heard the assassin tell the agent where to stop, telling him where you are, but you know he can't see you. You don't need to use your impromptu sneak.
You hit with your Longsword, but the strike does not prove. As a matter of fact, even though she can't see you, the elf avoids the precision damage as well.
And you're visible.
Initiative, Round 19:
Red Mantis A
Mik
Red Mantis B Red Dot
ZAO Bugged Out
Griff
End of Round

Mik PZ |

K. Wasn`t sure. Did you factored in the fact that they would normally lose Dex bonus for me being invisible? I also didn't add the +2 to hit for being invisible. And don't forget my AoO as I flee.

Griff Olar |

Question: since Griff can seee Mik's attack take place In what way did she avoid the precision damage?
also, Mik you could tumble to try and avoin the AOO, and your fly spell gave you more than enough movement to get into the coroner.
