When the map is 20 feet per square, the ridge might not be that shallow.

Should we tie you on a rope and you wade into the water to lure it out? Or do we have another volunteer, someone small and light perhaps, who can be easily yanked back by Ivar?
She avoids looking at the halfling...
I mean, does that sound like a plan to you? It´s the best suggestion i have next to trying to avoid it. Maybe i should also mention that it needs a lot of brute force to kill it, because of their kinda non-existant anatomy.

When they notice they have been discovered, the close to attack. However the shore is pretty narrow and they can only engage in a one on one fight at a time. Their action for the surprise round is to move up to attack.

Bart casts his spell, and Ivar can go. Bart's spell has no effect.
