The Dandy Lion off the spirit snake, biting through the neck, taking its head off. The decapitated serpentine body thrashes and writhes violently before gradually fading away. Once the PCs defeat the spirit, Nkechi and the PCs exit the trance.

When the trance ends, Nkechi insists on accompanying the PCs as their guide. He believes now that whatever the PCs face is also a threat to Gozreh, or at least to what Gozreh holds sacred, and that Gozreh desires him to make the journey. Nkechi can aid PCs with decisions concerning the various paths they may take, filling them in on their relative geography, as well as providing folklore and history. He can also help them survive in the wilderness, and can provide healing as well. He will not take on a leadership role in the expedition, and tries to avoid combat if at all possible.

Nkechi - they say what happens in the spirit world may be an echo of what is going to happen in Golarion. What was the snake trying to devour us as animals all about? I was a jackal..but Erastil's animal is a stag. Lalali-Re was a horse, Malok a wasp and Sir Galittlehad a Lion. What did the whole spirit journey mean?"

This is the setup for lesser planar ally at level 7. It will cost 900 gp to call a hound archon, but they have greater teleport and can carry up to 50 lbs of items when they teleport.

There's really no shopping here in this area, you need to go back to Sargova since you are part of a big caravan.

"Oh!" Dargorath has an epiphany once matters are explained to him. "Should have known any missions by the pathfinder society would come with complications attached. Well, we'll just have to deal with it when they pop up. "Dargorath shrugs philosophically.

Ivar looks at the witch doctor, "Ah a major threat, well we should prepare then." Ivar makes a motion to there new member so he can follow him back to the boat.

As the leave, Ivar nears Barton, "I don't mind him being our guide, but we may want to do the cooking." Smiling, "Since our expedition is being financed by the Pathfinders we should be able to pack and plan well."

Following Nkechi back to their rented boat, Ivar intends to sail it back to Sargova so they could return to the Pathfinder lodge and finish their preparations to leave.

Dargaroth thinks camels is a really bad idea. Truth is, pack animals don't work well in the jungle altogether.


Not sure if he trusts Gelik to remember to properly supply the caravan, Ivar purchases more trail food for the trip. He then goes to bed planning on waking early for the trip.

You all head out after preparations making trail with your cranky guide.

First destination is Kalabuto, a smaller city along your path. You arrive there without incident and spend the night.

Heading out, you blaze a path through the foothills east of Sargova. Eventually this takes you into a mining region. Your map and guide indicate that there's a shortcut to be had by cutting through one of the mines.

As you head in, a tall woman with a small dinosaur at her side leaps from cover and yells in Taldan "Why you in Anthyra lands?!?" while holding a spear with a large blade at the head (sorta like a glaive).


Anthyra? We´re merely taking a shortcut, unaware of trespassing anywhere! Who are you and what is Anthyra? Is it custom here to receive guests and travellers like this?

Pointing at the glaive, Lalali looks at the woman and her dinosaur, looking as peaceful as she can.
