Dargorath |
"Are you sure it's a good idea to go through it? If its an evil artifact I'd say we smash it and be done with it. It might be a portal going to the abyss." Dargorath says.
Sir Galittlehad the Not So Pure |
"Well Darg, sometimes you have to walk inside a den of Evil to vanquish it. This is one of those times, quite literally."
Dargorath |
"The last time I went to look for dinosaur lady, you complained I was wasting time. I say we smash it to fix the problem."Dargorath urges his companions. "Or I could try to shatter it with an arrow."
Reason I'm not doing it yet is because I don't want to interfere with player choice of the rest.
Lalali-Re |
As curious as i would be to see wether you can actually smash that, i´m concerned that the negative energy contained inside would just explode and turn us all into ghosts or something.
Also if you take a look, it already is smashed and broken. Either there was something inside, or the break might have caused a malfunction. Perhaps it always was some instrument of evil or necromancy, who knows.
Just because no one did before, Lalali looks around a bit more inside the globe if possible and on the island.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
'Ok, evil stone, probably the problem here, dinosaur girl doesn't want the mine, The archeologist is right we should leave it ... Oh, Sasali is walking toward it.' Ivar shrugs and lifts his sword off of his shoulders. "I still like the idea of smashing it."
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
I was going to attack, but the combat map doesn't look changed
drbuzzard |
Bart takes '1' on init for a 3.
Tie goes the GM who actually rolled, so he's last in the round.
Order for round 1

Sir Galittlehad the Not So Pure |
Sorry, the website went AWOL yesterday and I couldn't make it
The peck moves to cover Ivar's flank, drawing his rapier and readying himself and saying "Yeah! Come and hit him! I mean, us!"
Can anyone move the token? I'm on my phone and can't make changes to the map. That said I believe 20 ft suffice. Then Ready Action: Attack ugly wight
Rapier: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
drbuzzard |
You can't get next to him with a 20' move. I move you as far as possible to still have a ready.
Wights move up and attack Ivar.
The first one wears some armor and swings a pick.

Sir Galittlehad the Not So Pure |
His quick way to stabby town closed, the peck sighs and starts tumbling between his pals and then between the uglies, trying to evade any retaliating attacks.
Moving to the spot I moved his token, using Acorbatics to avoid AoOs.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
drbuzzard |
Ivar missed (actually Dagorath missed the armored one even with cover)
Peck moves into position without provoking.
1 again attacks Ivar

Other one attacks also, but is flailing about blindly
1d100 ⇒ 66 to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 11 damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 miss
Bart attacks and misses even with flank.
Rest are up for round 2.
Dargorath |
Seeing he can't get the angle to properly shoot the armored wright, Dargorath chants a prayer to Erastil to guide the party's aim."Oh Great Stag, grant us strength to banish these foul spawn."
Bard song up
drbuzzard |
Forgot I was botting.
Lalali will launch a magic missile at the armored one.
force damage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 2 = 7

Bart is up, then the rest of the party for round 3.
Dargorath |
Seeing Ivar's life force getting drained by the wight, Dargorath yells, "Ivar, you need to get out of there!"
Dargorath then also begins a summoning spell.
Barton Savage |
(Lingering Luck 1/2
Bart swings at #2
longsword: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 21 (power attack, luck, heroism, flank)

Malok, the East Wind |
Malok spells ends and a small earth elemental appears behind the armored baddie.. It swings.
Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
but misses..
Malok starts another summon spell.
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
this is Ivar's last round of rage.
Reeling from the attack, as the small scratch makes him feel even weaker. Unable to hit the amored wight, Ivar, lifts his greatsword and attacks the other one. "I hope this helps." He then steps back beside Barton as his anger and rage depletes itself.
2 levels drain, bard songattack: MW greatsword, WA, PA, FF, rage AC -2 @ 18, 5 ft step next round fatigued,
attacks: 1d20 + 12 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 12 - 2 + 1 = 17 for damage: 2d6 + 9 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4, 3) + 9 + 6 + 1 + 1 = 24
I'm assuming the unarmored wight is #2 so no flank attack.
Sir Galittlehad the Not So Pure |
The peck spins his rapier before thrusting forward towards #2 "Corblimey! I can't stand undead, they are fricking ugly... and also the part where they disrupt natural order."
Rapierino, Flank: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 11 + 2 = 31
