Ok this is the 24 hour warning character submission will close this time tomorrow night (at least my local time). Have a write up posted in your character profile please. I will announce formal cutoff and announce the final group asap afterwords(give me a few hours or so most likely). Thanks to everyone who has shown interest.

Here is the link to my fighter. He is a work in progress but will hopefully have him done in time, Robert Macintyre

Here is Julius. Inquisitor.
I have taken Desna as a divinity, but I can change it if needed. I see there are proposal for several followers of Sarenrare, maybe having most of us follow the same divinity can be a reason why we know each other?

Hi there!

This is "Xunal" again. This is my submission for a bit of "muscle"; a bloodrager. I had a bit of fun putting this one together today. Kind of tired at the moment, so I hope I didn't make any big "oopsies" in the making of him.

Thanks!

Ûzorgráng (Half-Orc Abyssal Bloodrager)
Ûzorgráng ("oo-zoar-GRANG") was a maltreated half-orc slave who became a merchant's loyal bodyguard. With his kindly former employer dead, he is almost destitute, and restless. Ûzorgráng wants to use his robust talents to seek his fortune.

Bio:

Ûzorgráng was a purpose-bred farm slave: weak in spirit, but strong in body. Or so it was thought. He was sold to Nezarb: a wizard both cruel and inept. Nezarb subjected Ûzorgráng to a vicious experiment: force-feeding him raw demon flesh. It was Nezarb's undoing. Within days, Ûzorgráng exploded: mentally and physically. He burst his bonds and his fingers became flexing daggers. He literally tore the dumbfounded Nezarb to pieces. It all seemed like a hazy dream to Ûzorgráng.

When the haze of fury lifted, Ûzorgráng ran aimlessly until he collapsed. Several days later, he awoke in a caravan, with no memory of his life prior to Nezarb's maltreatment. The caravan's owner, Rodnev, was a good-natured merchant. Ûzorgráng was babbling about killing Nezarb when he was found. Rodnev knew, and despised, Nezarb. He had Ûzorgráng nursed back to health, and took him on as a bodyguard. It was a good choice. Ûzorgráng was fanatically loyal to Rodnev and his travels in Rodnev's caravans taught him much about languages and survival in the wild.

He went to painful lengths to hide the slave brand inside his left forearm. He covered both of his forearms with extensive abstract tattoos. He still cringes at the memory of his captivity.

Sadly, Rodnev died of old age recently. His heirs dismissed the loyal Ûzorgráng as something of an embarrassment. He was not surprised. Most of Rodnev's heirs were glib about their dislike of the old man's half-orc bodyguard. They did give him a small stipend, though.

He is strong and capable. He heard there are dangers past the Mountains of Horthus. Dangers that can bring a pretty penny if overcome. With his small stipend spent, Ûzorgráng is willing to take those risks.

Personality:

Despite his imposing physical presence, Ûzorgráng can be socially awkward. He knows nothing of his past before his maltreatment as a slave. In a fight, however, he can be fury incarnate. He does not react very well to being given orders, but he will help his friends and allies when needed. He just helps them in his own way on his own terms. Even if gruff or short with his friends, Ûzorgráng is fanatically loyal to them.

Motivation:

Still suffering some trauma from being Nezarb's slave, and grateful to the merchant Rodnev, Ûzorgráng simply wants to make his own mark on the world.

Didn't know if I had to resubmit or not, but here is Shyr, Human Cleric.

For those of you that have a character submitted in the thread no need to repost. I appreciate it Saithor, but not necessary.

Asterion Estagar here, I've wanted to play in a grass roots sort of campaign for ages but could never find one.

This character is level 4 atm, but I shall reduce him down to level 1 if accepted.

I put his lvl 4 point into str so he has 17 to make the 20 pt build. I'd lose the magical, alchemical and masterwork gear and several skills.

Background is the same except for replace human lands for father background and Elven lands for mother.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I built Ûzorgráng under the assumption he had 150 GP for a starting budget. So he should have all that gear with 17 GP and 1 SP (can't forget the small change!) in clanky bits of loose change.

I also have him equipped with lots of sling bullets because I can use his STR bonus in those, unlike a bow.

Should Ûzorgráng get in, I can confidently predict he'll need healing services of clerics and rangers. A lot! Bloodragers dish it out, but they do have to suck it up a lot too. Lotsa fun!

My fighter posted in my last post is done other than traits.

Edit: Picked traits and expanded his backstory. I may change one or both.

Ok submissions are now closed. I will look over everything one last time and let everyone know who the results. Thank you all for your interest and if not chosen if a spot opens up let me know if you want me to contact you.

Thorgrund Stormcloud

Saithor - Shyr Altaien

FangDragon - Keith Flint

Doomguide - Ashar Shirazi

Diego Rossi - Julius Miller

Xunal - Ûzorgráng

Once again thanks to all who submitted a character. If those above would like to they may discuss possible background info with each other. I will continue there.
