Personality:
Shyr is a friendly person, always wanting to think the best of verythig she runs across, although expierience has taught her that friendliness is ussually not enough unfortuantly. While Sarenrae is the goddess of redemption, and Shyra tries her best to redeem people who truly want to change, she has no mercy for the truly evil. She realizes she isn't very smart, and readily admits it. She is very devout to her goddess, which sometimes is irritating to others.

Background:
Shyr was born to one of the nomadic tribes of the desert. She lived with them for twelve years, before she was left at a temple of Sarenrae. The Nomads had been called to help fight a war agaisnt the roving Orc tribes. The nomads had left their children in the care of the temple, as well as to request that the temple's own warriors join their own. In the time the tribe was gone, Shyr connected with the priests and their goddess, feeling an unexplainable connection with Sarenrae, and when her parents returned three years later, asked to join the temple. With their permission, she began to train as a cleric there. She trained for the next six years, joining the priests healing, redeeming, and in the case of those unredeemable, making sure that their evil does not taint the land anymore. One day she felt an unresistable urge to travel to the lands of the west, and belieiving it a sign from Sarenrae herself, left the temple for the lands of the west. Along the way she met with a fellow traveler, Ashar Shirazi. On the outside he seemed a good man, but there seemed to be hints of darkness inside him, so she decided to keep an eye on him, and try to keep the darkness from consuming him. Hearing about the problems Baron Lumont was having while in Heron Falls, she decided that no matter what Ashar did, she would stay to help.
