Gorthug slammed his fist onto his chest in a salute to the fallen human leader. "You died a warrior."

The sun is starting to set in the west. Meanwhile, the tower is cleared of humans. Thorjo wishes that the humans would be more difficult, but if anything, they will get more numerous in time.

Well, he did have a nice breastplate that was masterwork, until Ak'iss poked a hole in it. He also had a nice longsword that was masterwork.

Agatha's detect magic shows up on the lieutenant's breastplate. No doubt there are more items in the treasury.

The little kobold pokes her head out from the stairwell. "Is he dead?"
Upon seeing his corpse she scowls and runs up, jumping on his chest several times in anger, her 25 pound frame not making much of an impact.
After that she and Bitey go to check out the treasury.

The leader of the humans breastplate is magical. It would be best to take it. She will take it if no one else does, (to hold until a warrior claims it), then she will examine the treasury
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
The treasury is accessed on the cellar floor. There are four boxes that can be open, along with the casks of wine.

Gorthug would gladly wear the breastplate. With Dex16 a Breastplate is optimal for him. That, and he would see it as a sign of respect for the dead human.
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
Two of the boxes contain foodstuffs. Wheat most likely. The other two boxes contain the humans' treasury. There is five hundred gold sovereigns in each box, indicating that the country is quite rich. The humans' personal effects are located on floor 3 and 2. Quite a catch to show to the Warchief, if you ever get to meet him.

Gorthug can, and will, cast mend on it.
Once the watch tower had been depopulated and pillaged, Gorthug repaired the human's breastplate and happily put it on. It was a sign of conquest, and respect to a valiant foe.

How long will it take to get to the second watchtower, by mount? Will we have to rest before we reach it?
Before they leave, Thorjo checks to see if he can see the their next target from the top of this tower, just to make sure that it isn't lit, for any reason.
