Up in the Command Center
A soft glow radiates from flickering computer screens, washing the various numerous workstations under a film of light the color of sea foam. The constant hum of electronics floods the room, enhanced periodically by several nagging pings from blinking console alarms.

The four chairs in front of these workstations appear unused. A green-screened mainframe computer terminal covers the eastern side of the command center. It periodically showers the area in harmless sparks as thick cables sprawl from underneath its exposed bulk. The cables partially bury the charred remains of a goblin.

Navasi can tell that her computer skills aren't up to the task of gettint anything going until a technician comes by and fixes all that wiring...

Altronus continues to advance, backing the goblin into a corner before thrusting forward with his solar armblade.

She then moves to the other door, planning to open it. Though she assumes it's not locked from this side, she takes a quick look to make sure, and just in case those idiot goblins trapped their own door.

On the platform you see another door, but it is firmly locked and made of heavy steel.

In the hangar, there is the smashed remains of the ship (and crew?) you are in search of. You'd either need to move rubble and debris, or have an engineer remove the cockpit windows though.

The computer room looks like it could be repaired, that would probably allow access to the installations mainframe.

Sorry for my slow/minimal posts the past few days. Work has been hectic due to the Thanksgiving holiday here in the States. Some people just cannot seem to get along with their families no matter what...

"Looks like the area is secure." Obozaya begins looking over the bodies of the goblins to see what equipment they have. She particularly looks to see how they were communicating and if they have comm units.

I think it is only Stamina points lost right now. I'd be cool with doing a 10-minute rest here if you want.

10 min rest is a good idea. Altronus only has SP damage

Altronus allows his arm blade to disperse back into an orb and then starts taking a look around to find exactly what the goblins were working on. "While there may still be more goblins, I suspect we are largely in the clear. None will be eager to jump us if they have news of this engagement."

After the short rest, Altronus begins to move debris and wreckage to get into the ship we've been looking for. As he works, he says "I do not see any signs of working technology here. Is this the source of that tractor beam? I had assumed the goblins were operating it."

As the team take their rests and start to look around, she takes advantage of the lowered gravity and jumps down to the lower level, aiming for a spot clear of remains of either ship or goblin.

Hearing Obozaya's call for aid, she looks about for something to add some leverage amongst the wreckage, planning to assist her big friend.

The locker gives way to well-placed use of force, revealing its contents; amongst the myriad personal objects and other random odds and ends, you find a leather tool harness embroidered with the name
“Livewire.”

a computer hacking kit. In addition, anyone attempting to repair
a computer with the Engineering skill receives a +2 bonus to the
check while using these tools.

It isn't Quigs best work, but good enough 'for now', and he has disarmed a couple of protective counter-measures. Whilst he is under the workstation he drags out the charred corpse of a Goblin with “5731170,” burnt into his forearm.

Altronus nurses his head where the debris struck him earlier, but follows along with everyone else. He seems content to allow Quig to tackle the computer and engineering work. To Obo's comment about the number of goblins he responds "I don't know where they would have hidden five hundred thousand goblins. Surely we would have heard them by now, if not from their chattering, but because they would have blown something up."

He takes a longer look at the goblin corpses and frowns "It could be that this instead says 'OLIIELS'... if you read the numbers the other way. Even though that doesn't mean anything to me, it may have meant something to the goblins. A gang name perhaps."

Altronus watches over everyone's shoulders, and while he makes the occasional comment, it's far from helpful.

"You haven't touched that dial there in quite some time. For the system to stay in balance with the universe, surly the dial there must be turned soon, yes?"

The collective manages to work their way through the system, and in doing so they realise that the systems was also trapped to deal with less skilled attempts to crack it.

The system allows you to:
• Turn the hangar’s lights on and off.
• Activate or deactivate any electronically sealed doors
• Silence the alarms pinging within the room.
• Pinpoint the source of the mysterious signal (deep below you)
• Adjust the ambient temperature between 66° and 78° F.

Using the terminal, you open the doors on the far platform. A thick plume of steam rolls out from the freshly opened doors. After a moment, the steam evaporates, revealing a marked transition into an entirely different area—a section of an entirely different starship. Where the hangar bay had straight lines and smooth plastic walls, this elevator has exposed cords and wires in varying dark shades such as charcoal and umber.

You investigate the elevator. As you enter, a singsong voice greets you in an alien tongue. Soft lights wash over a smooth, wet surface at the elevator’s southern wall. Scores of holographic glyphs appear in three spiraling patterns foreign to the Pact Worlds.

Altronus enters the elevator with an appreciative "Aha, now what do we have here..." He stares, unblinking, at the strange architecture, trying to soak in every last detail. He brushes his hands up against the walls, though he's careful to avoid touching any glyphs too early. "I am not at all familiar with this starship design. Perhaps this is the ship that makes up the core of Salvation's End? It is strange to find it still operating."

He examines the wet wall and tries to work out the source of the wetness.

"I agree Navasi, let us press glyphs until one of them causes this device to descend."

Though Cellion can't identify anything, through blind luck and wild deduction Navasi works out what she believes us the right sequence; the
elevator doors close and it rockets downward.

The lift swiftly decelerates and comes to a smooth stop before the doors suddenly open into a rectangular storage room that shares the same design as the hangar bay above. A mesh grating just beyond the western elevator door overlooks stacked crates below. An adjacent set of stairs descends to the floor. A second set of stairs continues to a separate, stone chamber to the east.

Obozaya moves forward to get a feel of the situation. To her right she sees an intimidating giant humanoid figure with two heads! In one hand it holds a greenish chunk of meat. When it sees Obozaya it growls "More food for Borgor! I was told vesk tastes like chicken..." at which the other head sighs "Not all is food... Can't we be friends?"

The first head responds "Shut up Bago! We kill!"

The keen eyed vesk saw it all coming though and is fast to react!

eastern edge to the cargo hold’s floor amid several steel crates.
The crates are stacked two high throughout the hold, reaching a

pounds), all the crates show the telltale signs of a forced opening.
