Are we likely to finish this by October 6, when the second part of gameday starts? I'm trying to determine who might be free for a game starting then.

I'm sure hoping we do. I have another two tables of SFS starting up then, and I'd prefer not to be doing more than that.

You have a couple more encounters to get through, but I'm not going to stay more than that. I'll post as frequently as I can to help you advance things quickly.

Just need to confirm chronicle details. Either put in a "that is correct" post, or let me know any changes you need making.

I hope nobody minded, but I ran the last two encounters with the four player adjustment. We are getting close to the end of the slot and I know a number of folk were finding themselves over committed.

If I don't hear back in a few days, I'll assume this is a chronicle 1, with 1000 credits and 0 fame; I'm nto sure what we do about default factions in SFS? Second Seekers?

Not that you have finished just yet, but you are very close.

As my character has always played 3 scenarios (yeah!) IRL it will be its #7 Chronicle as I will wait it reach level 3 to apply the chronicle.

My reading of the SFS guide is that you don't need to wait until the right level to apply pre-gen chronicles. You just have to apply them to a character of a level lower than the pregen.

You must choose to which of your characters the credit will be applied at the beginning of the adventure. Credit from a 1st-level pregenerated character can be applied only to a 1st-level character. Credit for playing higher-level pregenerated characters must be applied to a Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild character of a lower level than the pregenerated character or to a 1st level character.

Which is kind of odd, as obviously first level characters are lower level. This seems to be a change from PFS. It maybe a mistake, as someone applying a level 8 scenario credit to a level 1 character would seem to be a bad idea in terms of power/credits. But for season one that is unlikely to be a large problem.

Applying Credit:

You may apply credit for an adventure once your Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild character reaches the level of the pregenerated character used to play through it. For example, if you played a 8th-level pregenerated character, you would apply the credit once your character reaches 8th level. To apply credit, follow the steps below.
• Apply the credit for eligible adventures in the order in which they were played.
• [...]
• You can apply adventure credit from a higher-level sanctioned module or Adventure Path to a newly created, 1st-level Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild character. When doing so, reduce the credits reward to 720 credits if the adventure grants 1 XP or 2,160 credits if it grants 3 XP. You do not benefit from any boons until your Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild character reaches the minimum level listed on the Chronicle sheet, unless otherwise noted.

My understanding is that if you apply the Chronicle to a brand new level 1 character, you reduce the credit earned to 720 and you apply the benefice of the boons on the chronicle once your character reaches level3.

Right... so the bit I quoted is who you can apply it to, the bit you are quoting is when. Makes sense, but they really should footnote the first bit.

What say I put it down as chronicle 4 (which it is chronologically) but a note that it cannot be applied until level 4?

Actually it looks like this applies to everyone, unless it is the very first chronicle as the applying to level 1 characters says "newly created, 1st level..."

As for a newly created I think it apply to any first level character (like in PFS). That's how as a VC I will do.

I plan to hold the chronicle until level 4, if that is still allowed. Faction is second seekers. Other information is correct, although some of it seems it may need to be left blank for a held chronicle.

If you could leave the Chronicle # blank and total credits / fame. Just fill in the credits, xp and fame earned as I will be applying this at lvl 4 more than likely but I have a Dead Suns Campaign going that Book 1 may be ending soon which would goof all of that up.

Book 2 will more than likely be completed as well before this guy reaches level for so no telling what my totals will be by then.

No officialy yet, but

I think by 'applied only to a lower level character' they mean that when you choose the character, it needs to be lower level, and then you apply it as soon as the character reaches that level. In this case, we need to choose a character of level 3 or less. When the character hits level 3, we apply the chronicle. (unless we do the convert to level 1 option)

This chronicle is a special case, because you must play it with pregen (Like the PFS Specials #6-98, #6-99, #7-98 & #7-99).

Usually, when you use a Pregen you need to wait until you reach the pregen-level to apply the chronicle (for exemple, if you play a 3-6 scenario with a level 4 PreGen, you must wait to reach level 4 to apply the chronicle, except if you apply it to a level 1 character and reducting the earned gold to 740gp (in this particuliar case, you have only to wait until reaching level 3 to get the full benefice of the chronicle, the boon mostly)

Tarandor, I think you're PFS 2405. So I'm going to hazard a guess that this is you 701 character for the chronicle and reporting if we finish before you get your details to me.

My biggest worry for reporting is your faction. I'll go with second seekers if I don't see something else come through.

@all I'll take the lead from Tyranius on chronicle numbers here and leave that and all the usual stuff blank so you can apply when you see fit. Given the scenario forces use of 4th level pre-gens I'm not sure if it is worth putting a note about pregen use on this to help with future audits. Hopefully anyone doing an audit will realise the scenario is a 4th level special.

Session is now reported. At some stage presumably it will show up, but gameday reporting is often bunchy and can take some time to get through.

You can apply to a level 1 if you want (720 credits) and the boons are applicable straight away (as they don't apply to the particular character anyway).
