Map is updated for what yall can see. Unless yall are staying outside, Hush and Val need to move inside, and we can take it from there.

Val also slips through the door.

GM DevilDoc |

You see the disturbed dust around a square on the floor, and also leading farther in the warehouse, turning a corner to your left

![]() |

"I wonder why they avoid that square?" muses Valandil.
"Could it be a trap door down? Or just a trap?"

![]() |

"Given the prowess and cunning that our enemy has shown so far, my money says it to be a trap.' whispers dominic as he skates around the area to continue following the tracks.

![]() |

"If my sister was here, she could tell us a lot about this place.." muses Valandil as he looks at the tracks without any real understanding.
"She doesn't understand wizardry, but how she can tell what happened by looking at a few scratches on the ground is magic of a kind I'll never have."

![]() |

Valandil keeps walking with Dominic, walking in his footsteps.

GM DevilDoc |

So far all that you see are more stacks of boxes and cartons.

![]() |

Hush moves up to the north of the room and peers down the corridor framed by stacked boxes.

GM DevilDoc |

Hush doesnt see much of anything other than more cartons and more dust

Heeding Dominic and Valandil's observations most carefully, Etiana follows Dominic's lead and does her best to keep up with the duo, treading where they tread and avoiding what they avoid.

Valandil peers over the shoulder of Zac, staying just a few feet behind him and trying to remain quiet.

GM DevilDoc |

Since we have already bypassed the only trap in the building, I went ahead and removed the box that Zac was trying to peer behind. So far none of you have seen anything remarkable.

![]() |

With Valandil someone quietly a step behind him.

GM DevilDoc |

Dominic and Valandil both find a foot locker next to some overturned boxes. On top of the foot locker, there is a stack of letters that you determine are offers to buy the Keg that you were supposed to escort in the morning. Inside of the truck you find a client list, the Scarab of the Dawnflower, a Pure Legion uniform, as well as discharge papers identifying a person named Parani as a former member of the legion and detailing why she left Rahadoum. You also find a potion of delay poison, a potion of Cure Light Wounds, a suit of masterwork agile half plate armor, and a golden statue of Iomedae. You find no trace of Parani or where she might be.
Fast forward so that we can keep moving. After finding nothing more in the warehouse, you turn to leave and head back to the Grandmaster with everything that you have found. You are now passing back through the gods market.

Guess I'll keep moving forward, since I don't know anything is wrong. Though looking at the initiative rolls, Parani should be ahead of me-- her modifier is higher than mine.

Thank you, Hush. I will fix that.
Zac doesnt see anything out of the ordinary. Party is up, and perception checks please?

Ok, it was pointed out last night that I did not do very well explaining what is going on, and I apologize. What happened was that you searched the warehouse, and evaded the fire traps. You did not find any sign of Parani, but you did find a s#*& ton of evidence against her. In fact, you found good enough evidence to even sway the seriously skeptical Captain Runewolf, and convince him to arrest one of his own. As such, you are returning to the Grandmaster to report your findings. By evading the firetraps, you managed to NOT alert Parani to your whereabouts, but she knows that her people have fallen, and that the end is near. As such she has set up an ambush, but instead of having time to get to the good spot, (No fire at the warehouse= No warning that you were so close on her heels.) she is assaulting you from her backup spot. She was just waiting for you to walk into her line of fire. The maps and text were not very clear on what exactly her line of fire was, so instead of having you run through a hail of arrows I waited until you were close. Trust me, I am doing you all a favor on that point. Anyways, Back to the game. I hope this cleared up any questions that you might have had. Any further questions or comments, Please!!!! do not hesitate to ask. If I am doing something poorly, I need to know it so that I may get better at this.

As you are walking along, suddenly an arrow sprouts from Etiana. From the angle of impact you can tell that it came from above, and as you look up, you see a cloaked figure on an elevated platform to your left. She is about 10' up. As your react to the attack, suddenly a hawk comes screaming out of the sky at Hush.

I moved Val up to the middle of the party, as that was where he had been. I'm not posting an action for him yet as I assume he can't react until his initiative.

As everyone coalesces on the trapped grey cloak, Zac takes a mighty swing at the bird, and connects. Etiana heals herself back to full, and pulls out her whip, determined to make the evil doer pay. As Zac's weapon draws a puff of blood and feathers from the bird, Parani stands up and screams "You will pay for all you have done! DIE!!!!" and lets loose another couple of arrows, this time at Zac

The bird absolutely disappears into a cloud of fluff, blood, tissue, and feathers. There is barely even a squawk of protest is it just ceases to be from the mighty stroke of Hush's attack. Suddenly the party hears a hideous squealing and hissing coming from the platform as Valandil summons a creature to help the fight. Unfortunately, it seams that nothing much has come of it at this time. Just as Parani stands back up from dodging the Lemure, Dominic and Val both catch her broadside with their attacks
