@Val, Yes I did. You and Dominic both struck for 9 points each, and your lemure did not hit last round, so total of 18 pts dmg

@ Hush Parani is the figure on top of the tent on the map. She is actually on a platform, 10' in the air, and has drawn up the ladder she used to get there.

While Parani is able to dodge the javalin hurled by Hush, she ends up in line with one of the Lemur's sharp talons, drawing a line of blood across her arm. Before she can regain her senses, Valandil sends another couple of magic missles into her, scorching her chest. She is bloodied and wounded, seeming to be fighting to stay concious, but still standing.

Patry is up.

Under Dominic's careful consideration, Parani's head explodes in a fountain of red spray, pink mist, and grey chunks. Her lifeless body flops over the platform and splats onto the ground at Zac's feet. Just as the reverberations of the gunshot fade into the distance, you hear the whistles and calls of a great many grey cloaks headed your way. Through the tents, you think you can see Captain Runewolf himself leading the way.

|Ruins |WBGoblins|RotRL| Emerald Spire|

As the greycloaks converge on the party, they seem quite peeved. Captain Runewolf examines the body of Parani, shakes his head and turns to the party in extreme displeasure. "Someone had better start talking very quickly or you are going to all end up in the stocks and noose for murdering one of my best investigators. What in the nine hells makes you think you could get away with this??!!"

Grand Lodge

Male HP 49/49; Explorer (+3 2/2); Ablative Barrier (35/35); Firewalker's meditation (80/80); protection from arrows (70/70); reroll @+3 1/1; Wizard(spellbinder)-5/Magaambyan Arcanist-2 AC 17(19 ring of force shield); For +4; Ref +5; Will +2; Concentration +22; Perception +5; init +3

Valandil takes out the diary and notebook.

"It was self defence. She was also a murderer. Once maybe she was a good investigator, but she turned bad. Now, captain, we have a great deal of respect for the work of the Greycloaks, and wouldn't want the actions of a single rogue member to reflect poorly on your whole organisation. I think you will find all the evidence you need about her in here." he hands over the items found in the warehouse.

Liberty's Edge

Male Human Gunslinger (Pistolero)/3 [HP:28/28] [AC:18/T:14/FF:14] [Perc.:+8] [F:+5/R:+6/W:+3] [CMB:+4, CMD:17] [Speed: 30, Init.:+3]

Dominic holsters his pistol and puts his hands up ins surrender, saying "It's true what he says, every word. Just look at the evidence and you'll see we have right on our side."

Sovereign Court

Male Human Warpriest 2 | AC: 18/14/14 | HP: 17/17 | Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +6 | CMB +2, CMD 16 | Init +4 | Perc +4 | Blessings 4/4 | Fervor 1d6 2/4 |
Attacks:
shortsword +7 or +5/+5, 1d6+1 (19-20, x2+2) (+2/+2 divine favor)

Hush nods. I wonder if I'll ever get that javelin back, he wonders, thinking about the one he threw at Parani just moments before.

|Ruins |WBGoblins|RotRL| Emerald Spire|

"This may prove that she is involved in several underhanded dealings, but make no mention of murder. How can you tie her to anything like that?"

Grand Lodge

Male HP 49/49; Explorer (+3 2/2); Ablative Barrier (35/35); Firewalker's meditation (80/80); protection from arrows (70/70); reroll @+3 1/1; Wizard(spellbinder)-5/Magaambyan Arcanist-2 AC 17(19 ring of force shield); For +4; Ref +5; Will +2; Concentration +22; Perception +5; init +3

"We have a number of witnesses who have met her and many blackmailed by her. As for the murder - I suspect she is the Greycloak who took the wounded pathfinder to the healers, and then killed him. The shop assistant there can maybe identify her. Surely you would agree that it would be highly suspicious - as she obviously hadn't told you she was involved. If we check further we may find the missing page from the log book on her as well. I'm sure someone will have noticed her near the evidence room if you ask around."

He looks at the body.

"If all else fails, divination magic might be used to extract secrets from the body."

He thinks for a moment.

"Many times she has used poison, and several of her victims have been poisoned. Surely no Greycloak will have a reason to carry poison. Have a look at her body, let us see whether she carries any now."

|Ruins |WBGoblins|RotRL| Emerald Spire|

AHH! That is almost exactly what we needed.
You can see the gears slowly turning in Captain Runewolf's head. He quietly dispatches runners to check out Barleyhusks story, He goes over Parani's body and finds a vial of large scorpion poison, and sends another runner away with that to have it examined. He also takes the arrow that the party found at the tavern, and compares it to the quiver on Parani's back. Standing, he turns back to the group, shaking his head, and is quiet for a moment before he speaks. "I would never have guessed it, but it seems that the evidence in incontrovertible. I do wish most sincerely that you had come to me with this information so that she may be tried for her crimes, but it seems that you had no other choice. I thank you for your help, but must ask you to finish your business here quickly. Whether she deserved it or now, you have killed a Greycloak." Nodding his head, he begins to task his men with cleaning up and removing the body.

Thank you for your time and effort, everyone! If you could, leave me some comments on how to improve my game and what you think over in the discussion tabs. I will be getting the Chronicles up tomorrow, as I have not had access or time to get them printed off and filled out.
