I assumed it was a spell and since I was invisible I figured he waited till the seco person showed up and I would have heard/seen the casting


You failed the perception check. They were invisible after they heard the rest of them clanking around downstairs.

Well that's whybi asked. So I have no idea where the blast came from, or do I know which empty square?


Everyone saw the empty square from which it originated. Only the high perception saw/heard the spell before it went off.

I suppose Bo climbs his ass up the ladder.. if possible he'll use his 2nd move action to activate Detect Evil, if found a swift action to smite it.. Not sure if all thats possible in the same round.. I think it is but depends on how tall the ladder is..


The ladder is just one floor (10') so it is a single move action to go up it.

at the top, he Quick Draws his revolver, and just barely reaching over the edge he pops a shot at the greasy blob from his supposed concealment:

note that I also added a 5ft step(also drawing snicker and snack along with that step...if I can-not sure if that is legal) after throwing the bomb, also it occurs to me that I attacked the square not the foe, does that count as an attack? if not I am still invisible


You are visible, it is a direct effect upon a target (as would a splash weapon). You can draw one weapon with a 5' move, not two.

Didn't put up the roof description yet sorry.

The smoky, filthy rooftops of Underbridge sprawl below this dizzying perch. The conical roof supports an onyx statue of an angel. Towering like a god, her weathered features are caked with grime, making her seem almost demonic in countenance. At the far end of the hollow space under the roof, in the angel’s shadow, is a nest of cushions, silk sheets, and a line of several small chests.

So basically the odd looking business in the middle is the support for the angel statue.

Billy, waking up on the floor, reaches over and grabs his rifle, taking a shot at the foe.

Billly to hit: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28 damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 landing another solid hit.

Bo unleashes a devastating volley blasting large chunks of flesh off the critter.

Urga and Bandersnatch both move up to try and position for a flank, but can't quite get it to work. Urga misses the target on a wild swing, and Bander only nicks it slightly.

Flick tossed a healing bomb which healed Billy mostly, but also Urga, himself and Bandersnatch (7 for splash). Urga, assume you were healed up before this combat since it would have been Flick's actions on the way up you guys had time).

Then the foe casts defensively- auto makes it.

Another fireball. This time it is centered on Bo.

fireball damage: 8d6 + 8 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 4, 2, 1, 3, 6) + 8 = 36 at least I'm consistent. DC 21 reflex for 1/2

Billy reflex save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
