Can we keep the OOC comments to the Discussion board, please? There's nothing quite so disappointing as seeing multiple posts in the Gameplay/IC thread and discovering that only one was actually an IC post.
Also, sorry to hear you go, Harroan. Good luck on the SGT test preparations!

There are no hard and fast rules in regard to OOC posts in the IC thread. Generally, my feeling is that the occasional post is fine as long as you use the ooc tags to mark the text blue, but longer discussions should be moved to the appropriate thread.
It's more or less a matter of group preferences, and I'm certain we'll figure out a code of conduct as we go.

I think you meant four potions (six in total). One to Nub, one to Cordell, and two to yourself, leaves two, so I suggest Bellamin and Vasrik each take one.
Sorry, for some reason I was thinking there were only 3 thugs + Regis. That actually means there were 6 potions and 53gp. 53 divided by 5 is 3 getting 11gp and 2 getting 10gp.
Jace, I'm assuming people saw Nub pocketing the gold he took?

Nub was not trying to hide his actions.

Re: Watch
How do you guys like to set your watches?
How many hours of darkness do we need to cover?
We are now down to 5, so one way to set this could be to divide it into thirds:
2
2
1+1 animal companion (without scent)
We've got only one PC with darkvision and one with low-light. So if we can do halves we're better off.
We want our spellcasters to get their 8 hours (everyone if possible). To do that we'll probably need a few of us napping during the day on the boat.

Alarien |

Alarien isn't a spellcaster, so she just needs enough sleep to not be fatigued in the morning. She's also one of two (Cordell being a half-elf also has low-light vision) with low-light vision. Also, as a cleric, Bellamin only needs to pray/meditate at a certain time of day for spells, rather than the wizard's rest for 8 and study for one. Same with druids, and I think oracles as well. So perhaps this arrangement:
1st watch: Nub, Cordell
2nd watch: Alarien, Bellamin
3rd watch: Alarien, Vasrik

Great! Though if I recall correctly that mystic number is left vague. We may need Jace to tell us, or we might have to experiment.

I think Cordell's got "Child of the Sea" which swaps out his low-light. Edit: Flamethrower is ahead of me.

Ah! Yes of course! Good point. We'll just need those three PCs to avoid fatigue then.
So perhaps this arrangement:
1st watch: Nub, Cordell
2nd watch: Alarien, Bellamin
3rd watch: Alarien, Vasrik
I'm OK with that! Though once we know how long the stopover is and possibly how long we require to avoid fatigue we can re-jig.

In order to avoid complicating things needlessly, let's assume that everyone has the opportunity to catch some light duty/napping if they have been up on watch, so getting rested enough for spell prep is more or less handwavied. I'll let you know if it's something you need to worry about.
I more or less just need to know who's on watch at any given time, and give you the opportunity to do a little RP.
I'm a little busy at the moment preparing a pitch for a freelance assignment, so updates may be slow for the next few days. To pass the time, I recommend you pick up GM’s Miscellany: Urban Dressing from Raging Swan Press when it comes out on Thursday. I have it on good authority that it has some really high-quality stuff, including a set of completely new, never before published urban encounters that will knock your socks off.

Nice! I'm on there too!

Hey, so you are! Then what I said about awesome encounters holds double true, both for the new ones, and those that have been previously published.

I just want to reassure you that you are not forgotten. I just need to figure out exactly what happens next. Hang in there.

GM JaceDK |

Good to know. I just began my vacation today, but if this means more or less time for PbP is too soon to tell.

GM JaceDK |

Hi guys. Just want to let you know I'm leaving for a family vacation in Italy tomorrow, and won't be back until July 20th. I'll make an effort to get the game rolling again after that. I'll notify you via PM, so you won't have to check the thread every day.

GM JaceDK |

Hi everyone.
I think it is past time to officially close up the Rolling on the Rivers games. Between work, family and freelance assignments, I haven't got the time or energy to GM two PbP games, let alone games where I cook up the content from scratch.
As such, we unfortunately have to pull the plug on the games. I thank you all for making such interesting characters and for the fun we had while the games were going.
Should any of you wish to pick up the GM mantle and run a game for the players involved in this campaign, or have openings in your existing games, drop a note in the OOC threads. Personally, I have room in my PbP schedule right now to be a player in another game, even if I can't manage to run one.
Once again thank you for playing while it lasted.
/Jacob

Thanks Jacob. Perhaps there will be opportunities in the future. Would certainly welcome teaming with Hurgah again. Keep me in mind.
