I assume the smiley faces in the semi circle outside the church are humans that haven't run but are they soldier types or civilians too afraid to move?

Just civilians.

You heard an explosion on the next street over and a burst of flame leaps above the rooftops. You heard the screaming and singing of excited goblins as well as the screams of terror from the local citizens

map updated.

female half-elf druid 2

The goblin goes before me, but I probably won't be able to post for most of today, so here's my action. It sounds like there's only the one goblin left? Not sure what the goblin with the 3 on it is.

Etohya flashes an amused smile at Jonas as the goblin falls. "Do this often, then? Hahaha... 'beautiful woman'..."

Seeing another goblin still standing, she sends Kirri to attack. (Fly DC 10: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14) The hawk flies swiftly to the nearest position opposite the dwarf, tearing at the goblin with its beak...

Beak 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 2 = 11

... at least trying to.

Etohya moves closer, then shouts in Shoanti as she casts flare, a dazzling burst of light flashing in front of the goblin. (dazzled for 1 min.; Fort DC 13 negates)

Male Human Cleric 1

Did the goblins go?
On his go, Ken will move towards the cart and push it in whichever direction it is facing (ideally NW into the next street because jonas is on it, but if the cart is facing, west, or south or southwest that's fine too. If it's facing a wall on either side he'll attempt to turn it and push it NW), in order to move into the next street through the alley (it's the one that's ten feet wide under j/k/l)
(i'm not sure if this falls under normal encumbrance rules, in which case he can push or drag up to 3,000lb (and that's if it doesn't have wheels! being large is awesome!))

Male Human Magus 1

22 Jonas x
12 Jies x
10 Goblins ?
6 Etohya x
6 Ken x
4 Tug -
I believe this is the current initiative I am not certain of the goblins on the other side of the buildings but the one we are currently engaging hasn't gone unless the goblin in front of us started screaming and singing with his friends over the explosion ignoring us in the process :) Considering he is a goblin I wouldn't be that surprised.

Dwarven Inquisitor 2

"Say Gooodnight, ya knock-kneed toadstool!" He swings the ball and chain at the goblin, letting a couple links slip for extra follow through..
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

The goblins are all going on 10, but they did what they can do. There is only one goblin still active in your general area and the other goblins are too busy starting fires and destroying things to have noticed you all...yet.

Male Human Magus 1

Thanks for the correction. Jonas gives Etohya a wolfish grin and shrugs his shoulders. A benefit to being a man on the move in these trying times I guess. He doesn't quite get all of this out before ken starts to push the cart and Jonas is forced to regain his balance with the unexpected shift, ruining the quasi heroic stance he had been going for. It does have the fortunate side effect of bringing Jonas's head back into the fight as he sees the goblins raising Cain right in front of him. I will exit the cart at the end of kens movement where ever that might be and then make my own movement towards the nearest goblin stopping just out of melee range. Ending my round by casting shield as a standard action (AC 20).

Ciretose, can we get an update on how things have worked out thusfar?

Jies Redtome wrote:

Three Goblin attacked in your area, two are down and the one near Tug is badly hurt.

There was an explosion on the next street over and a fire has started in the middle of the street. It is from this area you hear the goblin singing.

Male Half-orc Wizard (transmuter) 1

Sorry, I meant the cart pushing maneuver. I'm not sure how you wanted to adjudicate that. if you needed a strength check, how far Ken could push the cart and in what direction, etc.

Liberty's Edge

Jies Redtome wrote:

Standard action to lift a side, then move action to move it. No strength check needed.

Male Half-orc Wizard (transmuter) 1

OK, so Kena dn cart moved on the map, will finish movement next round
Jies decides to stay at the door of the church, encouraging the others to carry on. Jies will drop out of combat here and stay with the townsfolk in the church (withdraw action)

Liberty's Edge

The Goblins continue dancing around the bonfire and looking the surrounding area, largely unaware you are all on the next street over.

The one in front of Tug looks like he is barely on his feet at this point, but is still standing.

female half-elf druid 2

Kirri continues pecking and clawing at the last goblin.

Bite 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 + 2 = 20; Damage 1d4 ⇒ 1
Talon 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 + 2 = 17; Damage 1d4 ⇒ 2

Confirm 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 2 = 10 - nope

Assuming that was enough to drop him...

Seeing the goblin fall, Etohya shouts to the hawk, "Haha! Nicely done! Come, Kirri, there are more!" Handle Animal DC 20 to push as a move action (Kirri doesn't know the trick) 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14 But the hawk simply lands on the fallen goblin tilting its head at the druid. "Oh... you stubborn bird!"

Etohya unstraps her wooden shield to free up a hand as she steps closer to the large battle cleric. "At that size these creatures will hit you more easily. I might have something that can help."

Liberty's Edge

The goblin is pecked to the ground and lies unconscious. All can hear the singing and destruction taking place the next street over. To the south you hear more fighting,as that seems the direction the town guard has chosen to focusing on holding for now.

** spoiler omitted **

I'm not sure if you can get that far and attack. You had to take an action to get to the cart (5 foot I think) then a standard to lift it. If it wasn't a 5 foot (I don't remember) you would only have a single move action to move the cart 30 feet (around a corner) and no ability to attack , since you used all your actions.

I moved you back to 30 feet of movement pushing the cart, but I am open to correction if I missed something.

Trin is up I believe.

Male Human Magus 1

I may be wrong but I thought Trin left the fight? I moved my character back to where he was. I was able to use my 30' movement last round to position myself weather ken was able to move the cart or not and I made my movement at that point assuming he would not be able to since their was some ambiguity. With his protections cast Jonas focuses on dealing with the numerous goblins in front of him. Speaking words that slip and twist off his tongue like chips of ice. A swirling cold vapor coalesce at Jonas's finger. A thin beam jumps from from his pointing finger heading for the goblin just out of his swords reach. Continuing with his momentum Jonas moves to within striking distance with his Rapier and lunges with nearly his full weight behind the blow. Full attack action first casting ray of frost and making ranged touch attack as part of spell combat then take 5 foot step and strike with rapier
Ray of Frost 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 151d3 ⇒ 3
Rapier 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 181d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Liberty's Edge

Trin did leave, sorry. I appreciate any help you can send, I've done a ton of table top but this is my first PbP and the dynamic is very different when there are hours or even days between actions and you are trying to remember who is who and who is doing what. Not to mention the mid battle changes...

Jonas steps forward and drives an icy blade into one of the distracted goblins, who falls to the ground...

The goblins nearby, seeing one of their own fall, are no longer distracted by the fire and are now focused on Jonas.

Male Human Magus 1

Jonas gives the goblins a toothy smile when he sees that he is now the center of their attention.

speaking in goblin:
Come, you will find me a more difficult target then the innocents you have encountered so far.

ciretose:
One of the things that I found that helped keep things from being confusing is to post a break down every round. It can be as detailed or sparse as you want but it sets a definite split from one round to another. The current initiative order would probably be the minimum that you would want to put up. Something else that would be useful is status effects and spells people are currently affected by. It is a pain to do the first time but once you have it just copy and paste the list and make any necessary changes. I could keep that up with out to much trouble if you would like.

Male Wood Elf Rogue 2

Sorry, I must have misunderstood, I thought i could move at half speed for some reason. oh well :) sorry about that

female half-elf druid 2

Ok... so with Jies staying behind, was that the goblins' action? Going to assume it was.

Etohya steps toward Ken as she clutches her fetish of feathers and tree leaves hanging from her neck, her hand glowing with a warm green light as she casts virtue. Speaking in Shoanti, she touches the cleric on his arm, and the light fades. (You gain 1 temporary hp!)

She shouts to Kirri again, trying to get the bird to come to her. Handle Animal DC 20 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27 This time, the hawk listens, flying away from the body of the goblin with a screech, (Fly DC 10 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9... seriously?) but landing on the ground next to the druid instead of continuing its flight.

Male Human Cleric 1

Ken glaive swing misses.

The Gobin warsinger continues to sing, cracking a whip in the air to add additional encouragement.

Next round begins, starting with Jonas.

I believe the upper right hand corner goblin was dropped by me in the last round unless one of the attacks was by the whip wielding goblin? Jonas lashes right and left with his sword as the goblins attack in a rush of bodies. There blades are turned aside but the press of them at once leaves little opportunity to strike back until one try's to slip past on his right side. His sword lashes out in the blink of an eye stopping the advance but drawing no blood. A wide returning sweep of his blade keeps the press of goblin flesh at bay for a moment taking advantage of the breathing room Jonas quickly steps out of range of their attacks and rattles off the incantation for the ray of frost striking the goblin trying to move past him on the right. Go ahead and move. There was some confusion last round on Ken's move and if I am correct it took two rounds to complete the total action of getting the cart, moving it into position, then attacking.

Tug steps forward to confront the warchanter with a mighty swing, but just misses.

Male Human Magus 1

Jonas moves out of the mass of goblins using the range of his rapier to keep them at bay. When the nearest goblin gets too close Jonas makes him pay for the decision and performs a short but powerful jab that leaves the goblin critically injured. with the goblin struck dealing with his own more urgent trouble Jonas chants a short incantation and directs the confusing magic to the war chanter. I will take a 5 foot step and use spell combat to first strike with my rapier then cast daze on the war chanter to break his concentration and end his chant.
Rapier(R) 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 211d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Rapier confirmation(R) 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 211d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

ciretose:
I wasn't sure if you wanted me to do the round summation or not. I won't do anything in that venue with out your blessing. Also Wanted to point out that the confirmation on the ray of frost last round was a ranged touch attack. Clearing up any possible confusion between normal spell combat and spellstrike.

Spell Combat (Ex): At 1st level, a magus learns to cast spells and wield his weapons at the same time. This functions much like two-weapon fighting, but the off-hand weapon is a spell that is being cast. To use this ability, the magus must have one hand free (even if the spell being cast does not have somatic components), while wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in the other hand. As a full-round action, he can make all of his attacks with his melee weapon at a –2 penalty and can also cast any spell from the magus spell list with a casting time of 1 standard action (any attack roll made as part of this spell also takes this penalty). If he casts this spell defensively, he can decide to take an additional penalty on his attack rolls, up to his Intelligence bonus, and add the same amount as a circumstance bonus on his concentration check. If the check fails, the spell is wasted, but the attacks still take the penalty. A magus can choose to cast the spell first or make the weapon attacks first, but if he has more than one attack, he cannot cast the spell between weapon attacks.

Spellstrike (Su): At 2nd level, whenever a magus casts a spell with a range of “touch” from the magus spell list, he can deliver the spell through any weapon he is wielding as part of a melee attack. Instead of the free melee touch attack normally allowed to deliver the spell, a magus can make one free melee attack with his weapon (at his highest base attack bonus) as part of casting this spell. If successful, this melee attack deals its normal damage as well as the effects of the spell. If the magus makes this attack in concert with spell combat, this melee attack takes all the penalties accrued by spell combat melee attacks. This attack uses the weapon's critical range (20, 19–20, or 18–20 and modified by the keen weapon property or similar effects), but the spell effect only deals ×2 damage on a successful critical hit, while the weapon damage uses its own critical modifier.

If I use spell combat in conjunction with spellstrike I will indicate that in OOC to keep things straight. I can indicate a Touch attack or regular attack by putting (R) or (T) next to the to hit roll in the future so you can tell at a glance with out having to dig through OOC text.
