Triel Siadon |

The first thing that Triel feels upon waking is pain. Specifically, as soon as she opens her eyes, the sunlight streaming in through her window forces them closed again.
"Argh... Cazzo luce del sole..."
Still, the sounds of celebration force her out of bed. She rubs her eyes, blinking a few times. Her vision is blurry as all hell, but at least she isn't blind now.
After washing up, she sets about getting herself dressed for the morning. She wraps several bandages around her (rather sizable) bust before slipping into an undershirt & pants. That was one of the downsides of wearing scavenged armor: one isn't in a position to be choosy about armor size, and her scale mail only had enough room to fit if she tied herself down, so to speak.
After spending some time getting her armor on, she takes out a grooming kit and quickly combs her hair straight. The idea that it will just likely end up messy again after her helmet goes on escapes her at the moment.
Putting her helmet on, she packs the rest of her gear away, sheathes her greatsword across her back, and leaves her room.
The sunlight shines brightly on her grey scale mail as she makes her way downstairs. The *CLANKING* of her footsteps heralds her entrance to the Rusty Dragon's common room.
The noise the party is making is not helping her mood any, but seeing the rest of her group (well, except Jack so far) chatting merrily away with Ameiko over breakfast, she shrugs her shoulders (*clink*) and approaches them.
Undercommon = Italian

Ithylia Nassym |

"Morning!" Ithylia greeted Vanya as she was bouncing in her seat from excitement and happiness. "I'm so glad you didn't miss the party. Did you sleep well?"
Spotting Cian, "Yay! You didn't miss it either!" It seems the more of her friends show up, the more excited (and bouncy) she gets.

Ithylia Nassym |

"Triel!" Ithylia turned all excited as she noticed her, before blinking only partially surprised to see her already in armor. But she let it disappear. Triel had hinted yesterday there was a reason for it. A happy, excited smile graced her face. "You made it! We are having a party!"

Triel Siadon |

"So I heard." Triel replies.
She takes a seat next to Ithylia.
"Dare I ask what this party is for?" She asks.
I think I can hazard a guess.

Artemis Deacon |

Artemis finishes chewing the bite of eggs he's just taken and after a sip of water, says, "Apparently we are big heroes. From what Ameiko has said, we are the first ones to actually kill a few goblins, most of the time the militia just pushes them back or the goblins end up dying due to their own...craziness. These folks were here when I came down, Ameiko had me sit down and eat and enjoy the celebration."

Triel Siadon |

Triel arches an eyebrow behind her helmet. She blinks a few times.
"That's it? Kill a few goblins and that's a big deal?" She asks. It's obvious that she's quite surprised.
Goblins aren't that hard to kill. I wonder if that says more about the militia or the goblins...

Ithylia Nassym |

"I just heard a people having fun and had to come down." ^^ "I think I picked a great time to finally come to Sandpoint. First a festival, and now a party!"

Artemis Deacon |

"Based on personal experience," Artemis grimaces and bows his head for a moment,"Goblins don't attack like this, but they can be deadly, sometimes to others, sometimes to themselves. Based on what I saw as I wandered the streets looking for my family, there might have been just as many goblins killed by their own antics than what we and others killed. But, the militia may have been less effective than I was, anyway. I think they are mostly farmers with weapons, not really trained. Goblins raiding Sandpoint isn't something I've heard much about. Outskirts, sure, some of us out in the woods know all too well what they can do in numbers. But here? A few might venture out from the trash heap now and then...but no, not in these numbers. Ameiko, do you agree?"

DM KLS |

Ameiko smiles at the conversation, glad that her new patrons seem to be enjoying their first morning's stay. She glances a raised brow at Triel's helmet, but brushes off any thoughts, given what she's seen in her days. Artemis' question though picked her interest though. "Well I didn't say you were the first to kill a goblin, just the first ones to do more than what these "soldiers" do in town. Like I said earlier, the militia here in my opinion are only good for defending and driving them off really. You go outside our quaint little seaside town and I'm sure you'll find those who deal with those little buggers on an average basis that have had their fair share of kills. I would agree though, a mass of them for that size? It is unusual for sure. They probably just all grew a pair and decided to make the raid. Tell you what though. I gotta go make some rounds here and not be the "bad owner" as she chuckles with that thought but I'll go ahead and put word out to an old friend of mine. She normally keeps an eye out on things like these, and maybe she'll have some answers that I certainly can't give you. I won't guarantee any thing though, so don't get your hopes up." She gives a hearty smile to each one of you as she removes herself from the table and walks away.
You're more than welcome to ask Artemis, I wasn't gonna put that into play until later, but don't worry. I'm more than prepared to deal with a drow in public no matter what the situation is. And wake up Jack, you lazy bum lol.

Artemis Deacon |

Artemis chuckles and nods at Ameiko's view of the goblin attacks.
He then looks at Tiriel. "I may not know much, but I think we are pretty safe here in the common room of the Rusty Dragon. You can probably remove the helm and stay awhile Tiriel. Might make it easier to enjoy the food and drink we've been provided. Unless you know something I don't know."
Artemis begins looking around the room quickly.

Vanyalanthiriel Giliath |

Listening to the conversation about goblins bores Vanya, but she stays seated and enjoys another pastry. "Don't get our hopes up? Are you canceling the party?" As soon as she speaks she realizes she only heard part of the conversation. She giggles, but says nothing else, letting her eyes take on a too far above it to care look.

Ithylia Nassym |

"Nope! The вечірка is still on!" She paused a moment thinking, her face about as serious as her face EVER gets. "Think we should go drag Jack down here? He's missing all the fun." Her face took on a very mischievous quality. "Let's go wake him up. Who wants to go wake him up with me?"

Triel Siadon |

Triel looks at Artemis.
"You're right. I know a lot of things you don't know. But I'm not taking my helmet off down here." She says. She takes a bottle of wine from the table. "My room would be better."
She moves towards the stairs at Ithylia's suggestion of waking Jack up, bottle of wine still in hand. "Coming, Ithylia?"
Here goes nothing...

Ithylia Nassym |

"Of course!" She jumped up and skipped after Triel. Whispering, but loud enough for Triel to hear. "I was thinking a bucket of water. Think that'll wake him up good?"

Triel Siadon |

Ithylia
"It could certainly work. Or I could yell." Triel replies. You can hear the smirk in her voice.

Ithylia Nassym |

A huge grin covered her face before her eyes widened."Or... We could do this..." Ithylia made some motions and summoned a pair of Cymbals to her hands. They would make a nice loud noise.
Level 0: Summon Instrument - Cymbals (Lasts 1 min)

Artemis Deacon |

Artemis chuckles and says, "This is going to end...poorly, but it will be funny. I've had enough excitement this morning, so I'll stay down here to finish eating and stake our claim to this table."

Ithylia Nassym |

Ithylia wore a big grin on her face as she headed up the stairs.
Her Goal: Wakey, Wakey, Eggs and Bakey.
Her Target: The Sleeping Jack.
Her Weapon: A pair of Cymbals.

Triel Siadon |

Triel follows Ithylia up to Jack's door.
An almost-evil smile is on her face under her helmet.
She takes up a position on the opposite side of Ithylia.
To the untrained eye, on a different occasion, the elf wearing enough metal to make half an armory would appear to be unapproachable. Aloof. Arrogant, even.
Evidently, Triel is not nearly as above it all as she looks.
I'm REALLY enjoying this far more than I should.

Artemis Deacon |

"Cian, be ready to duck, I have a feeling the wild and crazy Jack will soon be chasing our lady friends down the stairs."
Artemis grins broadly, his face betraying his youth and how much this prank is filling him with delight.

Ithylia Nassym |

Quietly, Ithylia checked the door. Finding it unlocked, she opened it as quietly as she could. "When he starts to move, run," she whispered to Triel. Tip-toeing her way over to the dead asleep halfling sprawled across the bed, she did her best not to wake him. Not yet. With a silent giggle, she moved into position. Ithylia looked at Triel mouthing 'One. Two. Three.' On three, she struck the Cymbals together in a loud, ringing crash, right over his head.
The moment Jack started to move, she took that as her cue to skid-addle. Releasing her hold on the spell, she took of at a leaping run. She was NOT getting directly caught. She hoped Triel headed her warning. She dashed down the stairs, glancing back only to check if Triel was coming and how close Jack was. Though as she headed back down the stairs, she was laughing.

Triel Siadon |

Triel takes Ithylia's warning to heart.
In fact, she starts moving on 'Two'.
She breaks out into a full-on run as the cymbals clash together.
She's laughing uncontrollably by the time Jack comes downstairs.
Now I remember why Vindir did things like that to Talice.
It's hilarious!

Jack rolls over eyes still closed. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT RACKET! WHO IN THE NAME CAYDEN CILIAN IS MAKING ALL THAT NOISE? CAN’T A MAN SLEEP ONE OFF IN PEACE? Jack begins shaking his hand with the mug still in it at the sky. I PRAY TO YOU SO I DON’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS S$~! YOU KNOW! THIS AND TO MAKE SURE I DON’T GO THE BED WITH AN UGLY ONE! Jack will open his eyes a bit and look in his bed, closing his eyes again due to the brightness in the room. ALRIGHT, IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT THEN, GORUM’S TURN! Without opening his eyes Jack picks up his axe from the ground, stand up and head for the door, mug still in one hand axe in the other. Upon reaching the hallway Jack opens his eyes, they are full of hate.
Whoever is the closest person gets the mug hurled at them, thanks to my humble beginnings trait, I have catch off guard with it. So attack is against flat footed AC. GM, I guess it is up to you as to who is closest now.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Without noticing or caring who he saw or threw the mug at Jack continues.
WHADDAYA THINK O'THAT, YOU PAJAMA WEARN' , BASKET FACE, DREEP BACKLE, JESSIE OAF LOOKIN' STONER, MILK DRINKIN', SOY FACE POTATO WORM LOVIN', SACK O' TOMORROWS RUBBISH!
Now with 2 hands on his axe, Jack finally notices who is in the hallway, and ends rage before taking a swing at one of them. He is breathing heavily.
Oh, it's you lot. what the hell do you idiots think you're doin'? I've killed things for being less annoying. You all saw me do it yesterday. Now give me a dam good reason why I shouldn't be angry, and that I should put my ax down, or I'll put it in a place you won't enjoy!

Triel Siadon |

Triel holds up the bottle of wine she was carrying this whole time, offering it to Jack.
"Would you like me to list my reasons in alphabetical order?" She asks, barely containing her laughter.

Artemis Deacon |

Artemis hears Jack yelling in the hallway upstairs and starts laughing.
Realizing the group's been found out, he yells, "Jack quit your bellowing, you crazy man, get some clothes on and get down here for your breakfast before Cian and I eat it all. I heard something about it being last breakfast or something!"
Figuring Jack loves food as much as drink, he waits for his friend to arrive.

Vanyalanthiriel Giliath |

Vanya laughs about the noise upstairs and wonders how Jack doesn't slur as much when he should be hungover... And then, as sudden as a storm's arrival, her thoughts shift. I wonder if Aldern is here!? The waif excuses herself, Artie, Cian, I have to go see if someone else made it to the party." She stands up and adds in a sweet voice, "And don't go anywhere fun without me!" As she circulates the party she wonders if Desna's tickle will keep affecting her tummy, Where is Aldern? I thought for sure he would come to a party

Jack Churchill |

Triel I assume since you were right there I would have thrown the cup at you.
At least you're smart enough to dress for battle, I could have killed the rest of this lot with what I've got on. Jack takes the bottle of wine from Triel, rips the cork out with his teeth, spits it at her so that it bounces off her armor, and heads downstairs while chugging the bottle, greataxe still in hand. At the bottom of the stairs he stops drinking, finds his friends table, takes a seat and starts eating still looking displeased with his new companions.
After a few minutes of eating, So, any reason we are waking up so dam early?

Triel Siadon |

Triel's not unarmed; she was holding the wine bottle as an improvised weapon, so I don't think she was flat-footed. But you came damn close.
The mug shatters against Triel's mail, causing her to flinch. The cork bounces off her greaves.
"...I'm not paying for that, just so you know." She says, looking at the mug shards still in her armor. She brushes them off.
"As for why we're up so early... Ameiko put together a little breakfast for us. As thanks for killing goblins threatening the town." Triel says.
"And, believe me, I wouldn't have gotten up so early if there wasn't a party going on."

Artemis Deacon |

Artemis grins.
"This isn't early Jack, heck it's like mid-day...for me normally. Besides look at the food, you missed some sweet rolls, seems one of us likes them a lot." He says while not looking at anyone.

Triel Siadon |

Triel's stomach growls.
Oh, right. Breakfast. Forgot about that.
She helps herself to a plate of bacon & eggs & takes an empty cup.
She gathers them up and begins to head back upstairs.

Triel Siadon |

Triel pauses as Vanya runs into her.
"...I was hoping to eat alone, but okay."
She (rather reluctantly) returns to the table.
She sits down, mumbling something under her breath and holding her hand out over her cup. As she finishes, water appears in the cup.
She bows her head, looking straight down at her meal before tipping her helmet up slightly to start eating.
Disguise (Minor Details Only): 1d20 + 4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 5 = 13
Jet black skin.
Something's up.

Jack Churchill |

perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
nope, I still don't notice
So apart from partying and disturbing a nice dream what's on the slate today? Collect our hero reward, kill more goblins, find out what the heck they were doing?

Ithylia Nassym |

Let's see how much Ithylia is paying attention
SpellCraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Ithylia caught the sight of jet black and smiled to herself. 'I got to see her face! Ha!' Ithylia bounce in place, very excited. Though really, with her already having been a ball of excitement who could tell she was even more so now, or that her face was trying not to have that 'I know something' look?
Bluff to hide that she saw and her 'I know something' look: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
She looked to Jack, a big grin "How about dancing? Dancing is always fun. Enjoy the party and worry about other things later." She reached into her bag, pulling out colorful scarves, tying a few of them together.

Triel Siadon |

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Triel looks around, catching Cian looking at her.
Oh, joy. Now HE'S probably seen my face too. That's at least half the party.
...great. Well, might as well get it over with now.
"Yes, Cian?"

Triel Siadon |

Triel says nothing.
She finishes her meal, then gets up from the table and heads for the stairs.
Before ascending, she turns to the rest of her companions.
"Coming? I... have something I need to show you." She says, uncertainty present in her voice.

Ithylia Nassym |

Ithylia, pausing in her tying of scarves together to make longer, flowing scarves. "Oh, a surprise? I like surprises" ^^ Ithylia got up to follow, curious. She placed her scarves around her to make them flow. She had been going to dance (the whole reason she had been tying them together in the first place), but curiosity got the better of her.

Artemis Deacon |

Artemis grabs a biscuit and places a couple pieces of bacon and a piece of cheese and a fried egg on it, then grabbing a napkin heads up the stairs, figuring Triel had something to share with just the group.
Munching on his biscuit, he prods Jack and motions him to follow.

Vanyalanthiriel Giliath |

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Noting that Triel does indeed have a secret Vanya begins to understand why she wanted to eat alone, upstairs. The waif follows the group upstairs, excited, but pensive about what may be a big revelation. Or, maybe it's nothing?
