Hey all! Wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. This has been one heck of a battle....

I'm surprised Scarlet wasn't knocked out in the 1st or 2nd round like usual.

Protection from evil has been great for your character.

This is a great battle! I feel like we have the upper hand and are likely to win, but things could potentially go south for us pretty quickly, also. That makes it exciting.

I was more than happy that the hobgoblin started using his spells to keep the large skeleton up. It allowed us to focus our fire, and we really only had to worry about the one target's attacks.

It was fortunate that Brunner dropped him. He was about to burn his last Inflict Moderate Wounds on the large one. But now he has it to use when playing with you all..... *insert evil laugh*

I highly recommend Cambodia if you ever have the opportunity

Ah, gotcha. Then yes, opposite edge from the creature. But if I have the option, poised to draw my sword and enter melee range if needed.

To give room to those with better ranged attacks, Scarlet will probably be in the middle.

No. I'm wearing a +1 Studded Leather we got in the first adventure.

Also being that tomorrow is New Year’s Eve I don’t expect that people will be overly active the next two days. Tomorrow for fun, the next for recovery. Lol.

I began playing pathfinder four and a half years ago here on-line. It has been a wonderful time but I believe that journey has ran its course and come to an end. I am in a dozen games and I feel that those I have been playing with deserve an explanation for my decision to leave the games at this time.

When I started playing I was working nights; alone, bored and able to post for several hours a day. Posting at work was the perfect opportunity to be involved with others and create together. I was able to check the games regularly from home as well, due to fewer responsibilities at that time.

In October I left that job and have started working at a call center where I am talking to people all day long. Not only has my ‘posting time’ been cut to almost nothing. But the time I spend communicating with others has increased exponentially. Also, my RL responsibilities have increased significantly. Both mine and my wife’s mothers have been diagnosed with dementia and we spend a couple hours a day caring for them.

My posts have become shallow, my characters one dimensional. I am not happy with how I am playing, nor with what I am getting accomplished in RL with what little ‘down time’ I have. I appreciate the stories we have shared together. I know the games will continue, I will read along when I can. I wish everyone good luck and a good year.

GM RelicBlackOUT thanks for letting Brunner in the game, he was my first dwarf and the 'traslator' was a blast. I hope things go well for you all.

Completely understandable, Brunner. Kudos to you for realizing when it was time to re-prioritize. Good luck with everything.

@Brunner in my book 100% of the time family and real life responsibilities come first. I hate to see you go but I fully understand and no hard feelings. I will bot Brunner until we get to a spot where they can part ways, but he will always be in this world if you find free time and want to dust off the translator and Warhammer.

I pray for you and your wife as you go through this hard time with your parents. I remember going through this when I was in high school with my granny who lived with us.

@Dalron Scarlet Barnabus Lanliss moving forward, there will be a time where Brunner will leave the party. Since the beginning we have lost two players, Evia the half-elf bard and Bruner the dwarf paladin. You are down to 4 players and with the way these modules are designed, it would be best if we had one more player. But, if you want to stay a party of 4, then that is what you do.

I can open up another recruitment looking for one more player and go from there.

Let me know what you all would prefer.

I'm ok either way, but without Brunner we will be missing some beef up front.

I’m on board with recruiting another heavy armor person for the front line.

I agree for replacements for one or even both.

Recruiting one more person is probably a good idea.

GM, I saw the Recritment thread, and I noticed that you called out that Dalron is an archer, but you didn’t for Lanliss. Not a big deal, except I also noticed that you have one guy applying with a druid, I guess not picking up on the fact that the party is light on a heavy front-liner. Maybe that’s part of your plan for evaluating recruits, which is also fine. But if you pick a light armor melee type or a ranged/spell caster, maybe you’ll let me retrain Lanliss’ feats so that he can be more melee focused?

If you get two recruits that are great pick up both. Oh by the way I don't like the Druid, he has a higher survival bonus than me ...lol

@Lanliss thats my bad. I didn’t look at your builds I went off of what everyone used the most. I see now that you have Point Blank Shot. I will make a mention on there that we are primarily looking for an upfront guy.

Good afternoon everyone! We have two new people joining the party. They are Del Boozer Dwarven Barbarian & Bozvrig Wur Half-Orc Druid with Truffles his boar. I will allow them to introduce themselves.

Also, I will be doing spoiler box conversations with them in the game play getting them plugged in. It’s not anything secret, its only to keep those things separate until you are all united.

Ooh, can you just spring them on us so we can call them necromancers and attack them. That will be a memorbale first meeting.
