We do have the rings of feather fall, and I can craft some potions of that in the crafting room. :D

Lyosha Neverhome |

So lounge-fall.

Percy Silvershaper |

Ok. Let's father fall it. Will a potion last that long?

Percy Silvershaper |

That's a lot of drinking. Or we can save our one potion each for just before impact. :P

Percy Silvershaper |

So far we have the "Brew all the potions" method and the "Jump into Sigrun's trunk and hope for the best" method. Personally, I say we go brew one set of potions and give them to Sigrun who jumps and uses the potions as she sees fit while we cower in her purse and hope she doesn't break anything important.

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

If we're going with brewing potions and featherfall, at least part of the way, one of the magic inclined people needs to bring the option up in character.

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

With one potion of featherfall each the issue is that you have to let yourself fall until the last round of falling to drink it, otherwise it wears off before you touch down and you start falling again.
That means retrieving and drinking the potion while in freefall.....without dropping or losing it.

Percy Silvershaper |

That's why we give them all to you and ride down in your purse. :)

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

Heh. That could work. Hell if everyone got into a bag of holding I'd just dive and drink one just before hitting. You could all hold your breath long enough.

Percy Silvershaper |

Exactly. :)

Zsestrian Raven |

So, how much potions do we need precisely? Just 8 of feather fall? I throw Fly into the mix? I can fly by myself, and have one free slot for flight and one already prepared, so I can get two other people down. Regarding the bag, Percy/Allie may be able to fit, but surely not Lyosha or Silence.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Don't forget Mule.

I say fly mule and silence. Lyosha and Sigrun take the dive together, like barbarian lovers should. <3

Before I leave, though, it's time for Christmas goodies. :-) Instead of a Santa visit, this year, the gifts are for my PLAYERS. ;-) These are part of Abandoned Arts' "Class Acts" series. If I set it up right, you should be able to download them via the Google Drive link. If it doesn't work for some reason, PM me your email, and I'll get them to you that way. Enjoy!

But replace the sword with a Rod of Wonder and add cold weather gear and you've pretty much got it.

That was Hila a few game months ago.

That's from Kingdom Death, right?
And sorry if I've been a little silent, got the flu during the holidays. :/
In case you haven't seen it yet.
Spheres of Might
Hm, I wonder how Mightballs are going to distance themselves from PoW: Spheres of Power covered the huge design space of bringing down spellcasters without kneecapping them too much, but this time they're coming in a niche already filled by PoW. I wonder how it's going to work without being Spheres of Power with a different kind of paint on.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

PoW completely revamps the combat system with the whole Boost/Strike/Stance/Counter thing. SoM is basically an add-on to the existing Pathfinder system. It'll be very similar to SoP, so I'm expecting a combination of action triggers (like the Greater Trip + Vicious Stomp synergy) and combo moves (like Dreadfox Games' Swordmaster and Interjection Games' Assassin).
EDIT: Lots of good info HERE.

Lyosha Neverhome |

@Zses, yep!
No worries, I got hit with it the other day too -_-
As for Spheres, *shrugs* I'm just getting it because of Red and Adam using it all the time so I figured I'd back it just so I'd know what all they're talking about.

I could be, the cold never bothered me anyway.

If you were that scantily clad Lyosha would never hit anything. :P

SoM Update: a rough draft document's been revealed that highlights one class and two spheres.
The Armiger infuses weapons with sphere talents and gets to make AoOs when cycling through them. It gets Quick Draw that eventually becomes a free action. Looks pretty cool.
The Athletics sphere deals with running, jumping, climbing, and swimming. Investment can give you a climb and/or swim speed, the ability to wall jump, wall running (a la Prince of Persia), and the ability to climb on enemies.
The Sniping sphere is (obviously) focused on making a single powerful ranged attack each round. Range penalties are reduced, and you roll extra damage dice that stack with Vital Strike. Investment lets you ignore partial cover/concealment, perform ranged combat maneuvers, and designate a location as your threatened area.

Percy Silvershaper |

That, at least, seems like a more "natural" way of obtaining those special things without having to resort to odd class dips or race choices.

Lyosha Neverhome |

@ Silence, from Qadira, Jewel of the East,
Prerequisites: Mounted Combat, Ride-By Attack, base attack bonus +1, Ride 3 ranks.
Benefit: When you use the Ride-By Attack feat, if your attack hits, you can also make an attack against a target adjacent to your original target. You take a –5 penalty on the attack roll for this additional attack. You can use this feat whether riding a mount or using a flying item such as a broom of flying or carpet of flying.
