Cool, if I got three, could you assign them all to:
Aylanna

Silver Crusade
And could you please convert the 3rd book to level 1?
Thanks!

I think we roll, then if thats less than the normal fixed, you can take the fixed instead (average rounded up)
OK, guys, reporting is done. I'll get you your chronicles for the first two books in the next few days; the third book I'll wait until we're closer to done.
Do any of you have any interest in verbal duel mechanics? What about a complicated system of 'defense points' for a town? I can't say that I find either very interesting, but I don't want to make a unilateral decision here. We can tell the story and do fun stuff without them. It is also possible to do one and not the other.

not quite sure about all that tbh

Xakroo and Zarvak are all updated! Simply added a +1 to Xakroo's longbow. He gained evasion and Shot on the Run feat while Zarvak gained devotion
"My wit is sharp enough that rules are not needed to use it, not that we should ever get into that sort of thing or anything." Petrahk opines "And Defense Points sounds like it might be some sort of bureaucracy thing, really super-boring and painful."
I'm really not so keen on either one of those things, however if the party wants either one of them I'm on-board with keeping together with the party?
HP:1d12 ⇒ 8
EDIT: Just need to figure out a Feat and what if any gear I want to get.

I think verbal duels sound fun, but the pointing system probably isn't. :) I am totally fine with just doing story stuff without the complications. Also willing to learn it if someone wants to try doing it though.

Dripple's leveled up and ready.
I don't care too much about either subsystem, though I will say the verbal duel sounds like it could turn out pretty entertaining if Alaka or anyone else does want to do it.

the verbal duel thing might be interesting but the other stuff sounds a little too much like kingdom building rules for kingmaker, which is where I lost interest in the whole ap... just sayin'... I'll go along with majority tho.

Oh! Sorry. Trinket's levels up, but I just need to pick her out a feat. I'll try to get it done this week, but it's crazy busy around here first week of July. I'll post again when I'm done.

Redelia: need to know how much we can 'spend' on equipment, if anything... no idea what we might have earned recently or what wbl is for where we are, and how far we fall short of that total, or how we are figuring what we can have in terms of gear. Thanks

The way Redelia does it is that you can start from scratch every time you level, recalculating your gear to get you up to WBL by the chart, which is 46,000.
Just total up what you have (removing anything you don't want anymore), and then add stuff on to get you up to that total... or give yourself the balance in cash.

I love what you guys are trying to do here, but it means going totally off the rails of the AP as written. I would be happy to do that, and think I could bring you back to the adventure as intended after about one level (so you'd miss about 1/3 of a book). This could be a lot of fun, but I wanted to make sure none of you would be unhappy to miss a piece of the adventure as written.

tbh, I'm not exactly sure what the rails are... where are we supposed to go... and where are we going instead? just a bit confused... lol
During a Rise of the Runelords run I had the privilege of being on, we completely short-circuited two-thirds of the AP chapters, due to how our players had interacted with key NPCs and also the fact we had the *horrible* super-power of 'taking on the biggest bad' in the book *first*. I have no problems with our path being non-conventional and creative, in other words!
I understand being confused about where the rails would lead you, because I haven't introduced the next step of them yet. I was going to do so as a later part of this conversation, but you guys came up with your own idea I like better.
In the next part, you were supposed to go to the town of Longshadow, convince the mayor to make preparations for an attack, and then help defend the town. I think your spying/diplomacy mission sounds like a lot more fun. I'll still give you guys campaign credit, because I'll bring you back to the books after we replace a bit of the story.
I think you are trying to replace one of the least interesting bits of the story with something that could be a lot of fun for all of us, so I'm up for it if all of you are!

I'm okay with either way... was just playing with ideas. If we go with it, great, but I am sure we can make the actual quest fun too if the group votes that way.
From July 25th through until the end of July I'm going to be busy and very unlikely to post. We've got family coming into town. The week after that I'll be working towards a very important deadline and won't be posting as often as usual. Feel free to bot me (with great panache!) or skip me as needed. I'll check in when I can.
Just a reminder here as well that I will be out of town at a convention from tomorrow morning until Monday evening. I will try to post regularly but I can make no guarantees and I'll be working from a tablet.
Hi! I’m back and posting now. Just a reminder that over the next week I’ll be posting less often than normal. If you’re ever waiting on me feel free to bot me.
The credit was reported early, because of the snapshot for replays, but I can't issue your chronicles until we finish the current book. So yep, an odd situation.
