Ahh, CRAP. Can I use Surmount Affliction? The wording is confusing. I says it's a Personal Spell. It requires V,S components, which you couldn't do when paralyzed. Yet the spell specifically calls out paralysis as a condition it bypasses.Please read and let me know.

The last undead horror is destroyed. The GG brothers scan the sky and the surrounding area looking for the band's leader. Knowing he was the one with power. A few short moments later there is rustling amongst the trees. The winged demonic creature appears and he has one additional Mohrg making it's way towards the group.

I'll let you have one round of actions before the next phase begins. Use that time wisely. Everyone post what they are doing during that time. Kalim is paralyzed and Grimm has suppressed his paralysis temporarily.

Unholy Aura:

A malevolent darkness surrounds the subjects, protecting them from attacks, granting them resistance to spells cast by good creatures, and weakening good creatures when they strike the subjects. This abjuration has four effects:

1. Each warded creature gains a +4 deflection bonus to AC and a +4 resistance bonus on saves. Unlike the effect of protection from good, this benefit applies against all attacks, not just against attacks by good creatures.

2. A warded creature gains spell resistance 25 against good spells and spells cast by good creatures.
3. The abjuration protects the subjects from possession and mental influence, just as protection from good does.
4. If a good creature succeeds on a melee attack against a warded creature, the offending attacker takes 1d6 points of Strength damage (Fortitude negates).

Seeing the creature appear and foolishly move SLOWLY towards the group, Grimm dismisses his RAGE and his undead BANE. The fatigue immediately washes over him.

He needed a spell.Now.
He and Karnog were the best suited to killing it, but they could not affect a foe they could not reach.

He casts FREEDOM on the mage.
Ye better have something worth the effort.

It'll be a continuation. that is why I mentioned there was only a 1 RD to regroup. I was going to make it 3 or 4 RDs but figured that would screw up the suppression. Yeah, I know I'm getting soft hearted.

I was holding off taking the demonic mohrg's action until folks had a chance to post what they were doing in that free round.
