Kakrish Stonetoe |
"Ouch! That hurt!" Kakrish cries out at the skeleton rips into him. He instinctively jumps back and away from the attacking pile of bones. Then he cast a quick spell to mend the wounds.
CLW, spontaneous casting: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
5 foot step followed by standard action. Nothing else
Red-Raven |
Oww! I took 6 damage from that since the second attack missed, right?
When the undead rose, his feathers fluffed in fear. It was the first time he'd be battling something so unnatural. It was distracting enough so that one skeleton was able to claw him up before he avoided the second attack.
"This One's turn!" he cries, delivering two swift snap kicks before pecking and clawing back at the skeletons.

Rannik |
Kakrish reposition himself and use divine energy to close some of his wounds. I changed your 5-foot move since the way you went was blocked by a column and it put you next to another skeleton that would have had a AOO against you for casting next to it Red-Raven in a flurry of hits manage to bring one of the skeleton down. Don't know which one you were hitting, so feel free to remove one of them. Hoga swing his greataxe at the skeleton. The undead dodge the hit with unholy speed. The half-orc the move back, changing weapon for something less sharp. I don't know what direction you made your 5-foot move.
Round 2, back to the top. Garrik, Tamora, Taladrius
Tamora |
Tamora steps back (5 ft step), dropping her crossbow (free action), taking out her spear (move action) and blasting the skeleton in front of Taladrius, attempting to enshroud it in a blaze of holy energies from the positive plane.

Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Tamora |
Not just any skeleton. The one that attacked Taladrius that suffered 5 damage. Is it still kicking after her attack?
Rannik |
The damage you have done was added to to the green that now stand at 6 point of damages. And yes, he is still standing, barely. They are not standard skeletons.
Garrik attacks the skeleton with his staff. Aiming high with hope of hitting the undead, the staff sadly get deflected by the skeleton at the last second.
Still up: Taladrius
Taladrius Syre |
Holding his bloodied arm tightly against his side, Taladrius quickly stumbles back. A flash of bright green energy is sent flying from his uninjured arm and strikes the skeleton squarely in the chest.
Magic Missile!: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Rannik |
Backing away, Taladrius release a bolt of pure energy at the undead, hitting it directly and sending bones flying in all direction. What was left crumble to the ground.
The skeleton tries to bring down the injured tengu. It aim straight for the throat but Red-Raven avoid the deadly claws.

Kakrish Stonetoe |
Kakrish raises his sword above his head and screams fiercely. He steps towards the skeleton attacking Garrick and takes a mighty swing.
greatsword: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 6) + 4 = 13 Probably not a hit but here's the damage anyway.
Taladrius Syre |
Taladrius walks to the column and leans into it. He raises his other hand and a orb of acid forms in it and flies towards the skeleton near Hoga and Red-Raven.

Tamora |
"Garrik, retreat and heal your wounds! Kakrish can hold it off until you recover."
Sensing that Hoga is the one that needed the immediate help, Tamora move into the area summoning a celestial eagle opposite of Hoga which then begins its assault on the skeleton.

Will not be using smite evil. I found out that claws also do bashing damage in pathfinder. I thought it did not change from 3.5. Bold is damage without smite evil.
Tamora |
If talon is not the same as claw, ignore the everything I put up; previous ooc, enclosure & bold value. Treat the eagle as if it used smite eagle aka original result.
Rannik |
The eagle appear behind the skeleton and attack. With a single blow, it manage to destroy a cervical vertebrae which make the skull fall to the ground, a second after the entire skeleton collapse. If you want you can use it's move action since it didn't need to make a full round action to kill the skeleton.
Garrik and Thorn left

Garrik Korianthil |
Garrik takes one last swing at the skeleton before stepping away.

Sorry about the migraine. Hope it gets better soon.
Kakrish takes another mighty swing with his greatsword hoping to cut the skeleton in half and reduce it to a pile of bones.

While Tamora works with Hoga, Garrik casts a pair of curative spells on himself.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Tamora |
Once Tamora is done with Hoga, she treats Red Raven. It is a similar procedure with the barbarian. She fills the bowl with waters and herbal mixture that she mashed. Dipping the cloth into the water, she makes sure that the cloth is fully drenched. Finally, she dabs it at where the injury is made to sterilize the wound. Once she done that, she twists the cloth, letting the water drip into the wound to sooth it. She does this several time until the water is gone from the bowl.
Expend another blessed surgery & 1 uses of healing kit

Heal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
"I would appreciate another pair of hands here."
Btw, blessed surgery allows two heal checks, allowing you to choose the best out of the two. Seeing the two aid another already rolled would be helping the one that she will heal next. She needs one more aid another to heal Red Raven back to full health. Thorn can by licking the wound. Don't underestimate the healing power of saliva! Wolves to an extent dogs lick their wounds all the time.
Kakrish Stonetoe |
Kakrish wanders over to where Tamora is tending to the wounded. He watches with a bit of fascination. All of the healing he does relies entirely on Gorum. He just casts a few spells and suddenly things are back to normal. He finds her ministrations, dealing with herbs and different application techniques, interesting.

Tamora |
Tamora wipes the sweat off her brow as she surveys her work. Content on her expression, she closes the kit.
Hoga regains 17 HP
Red Raven recovers 6 HP
Tamora steps to her right.
"If there is nothing more else here, which direction are we heading? Right or left? I am inclining towards right."
After the group has chosen by majority, Tamora will experiment by tossing a rock into the door and uses her senses to scan the room while remaining on the rear.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Taladrius Syre |
"Gotta start somewhere." He grins slightly as he moves towards the door on the right.
Taladrius holds his hand out towards the door and concentrates for a moment, trying to detect any magical effects.
Detect magic at and/or through the door.
Tamora |
Definitely not Tamora. However, once the door is open, she will toss a rock in to test the room.
Rannik |
Hoga opens the door and Tamora tosses a rock inside the new room. Everyone hold their breath, waiting for some sort of reaction that never come.
In the center of this room is a large pool of clear water, fed by a fountain on the wall above it. The fountain has a stone statue of a weeping maiden holding the slain body of Kassen, but his head has been broken off and is nowhere to be seen. A voice booms out from the darkness, saying, “Magic is the key.” The voice slowly fades, leaving a dreadful silence.
You also notice a trail of blood going from the door you just opened to the corpse of a dead orc lying on the floor. He has a shortsword stabbed in his back. He seem to have crawled there trying to get away from something. His right hand is extended toward a backpack in the corner of the room.
Kakrish Stonetoe |
"Magic is the key? What is that supposed to mean?" Kakrish shrugs his shoulders. "Well, let's see what kind of magic there is here then." He stands in the doorway and casts a spell all around the room searching for magic. Detect Magic
Red-Raven |
"This one heard a voice." Red Raven observes, moving into the room after Hoga. "Hoga, this one believes we should continue the habit of removing the heads of the dead."
