If we do this, I call sacrificing them to my gods.

Don't do it. Evil. Plus, we never know when we might need them. I'm sure if we kill them, DaWay will find some way to make us need them. At least, that's what I would do. Taking the risk of keeping them alive is probably safer.

My character never would, but it seems like they're all to willing to offer us up to their cults or gods....

I would say this:
Prince Derendril: Trustworthy. Seems like he may not be able to keep secrets, and may be insane.
Eldeth Feldrun: Seems trustworthy. Might have a hidden side or be overly lawful. Hide crimes from her.
Jimjar: Good person, do not entrust with money or secrets.
Ront: Be careful. Could try to attack or steal. Might scare off other NPC's
Sarith Kzekarit: Do not trust.
Shuushar the Awakened: Trustworthy. Pacifist, calm, enlightened, and overall good person.
Stool: Trustworthy.
Topsy and Turvy: Suspicious, but seemingly alright. be careful if you are alone with one.

Male NG Human Priest Mystic | SP 21/21 HP 23/23| RP 3/3 | EAC 15; KAC 17| Fort +2; Ref +2; Will +5 | Init: +1 | Perc: +9, SM: +9, Darkvision 60’ | Speed 20ft | Active conditions: None.

Ghiv's take might be something like this
Prince Derendril: A friend! Yay!
Eldeth Feldrun: A friend! Yay!
Jimjar: A friend! Yay!
Ront: A friend! Yay!
Sarith Kzekarit: A friend! Yay!
Shuushar the Awakened: A friend! Yay!
Stool: A friend! Yay!
Topsy and Turvy: A friend! Yay!

The "Yay!" is laced with sarcasm...

That moment when new content is showing up and you feel a brief urge to kill your character so you can make a new one. (Bladesinger Wizards are sooooo cooooool).

Male Human Criminal Fighter AC15 HP12/[12] passive perception 13 passive insight 10 Saves: S+3 D+3 Cn+4 I+0 W+1 Ch+3 HD 1/[1] Init +3 Inspiration [y]

Has it come out yet?

Lantern Lodge

Male

yes, it has and bladesingers are awesome for about 2 minutes a day, but i still like them.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer (Draconic) 3 - HP 23/23 - AC 15 - Perception 13 - SP 3/3

The rest of the day they are still a wizard. So they get to feel like an awesome warrior for a bit before going back to the traditional spellcasting. I do wish they had bladesong more often though.

Most of the other new subclasses look really sweet too.

Lantern Lodge

Male

i really like the undying patron

Anyone can point me to it?

Don't have anything but leaks, which I think are not allowed to post here.
How much of the stuff are we allowed to use? Everything looks fine to me, but the winged tiefling looks a bit powerful. Its effectiveness might be reduced in the underdark.

Lantern Lodge

I GM for Adventure League. So My FLGS gets it two weeks early. Since I GM he holds everything for me. I either get it for free or at a 20% discount.

Bryn:
The armor is mariner's armor in breast plate form. While wearing the armor, you have a swimming speed equal to your walking speed. In addition, whenever you start your turn underwater with 0 hit points, the armor causes you to rise 60 feet toward the surface. The armor is decorated with fish and shell motifs.
Upon identification 1d20 + 1d8 + 1d20 + 1d12 ⇒ (15) + (8) + (13) + (7) = 43 Elf, symbol of power, strange material, metamorphic

It weighs half the normal amount, seems to be made from oyster shell with an overlay of pearls, and will periodically grow barnacles.

Male Half-Elf Paladin 3; AC 14, HP 0/0*, perception 10, spells: 1st - 2/3

Just to confirm - it is a magical breastplate, right?

It sounds awesome.

Magic? Nice. I like that it weighs less. Breastplate is already one of the lightest armors, and with the half weight, you now have armor that weighs less than mine, and I'm a spellcaster. The barnacles are a nice touch.

Lantern Lodge

Male

Yes, Bryn. Consider it a gift before the s%~$ hits the fan.

Its not running, it's tactically retreating from certain death.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer (Draconic) 3 - HP 23/23 - AC 15 - Perception 13 - SP 3/3

If I die make sure you figure out that it was the Demon Prince who did me in so you can tell everyone I died against something awesome.

Now I wish I had something that made me move faster. One of my home groups just finished the savage tide adventure path that paizo put out when they were still running dragon and dungeon magazines. Now someone's here looking for revenge =,(

Here's the good news...I am advancing everyone to 3rd level for the Kuo-Toa you killed in the ritual. Bad news is you still need a long rest prior to leveling which by default means you need to escape the clutches of Demogorgon.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer (Draconic) 3 - HP 23/23 - AC 15 - Perception 13 - SP 3/3

I'm thinking we run for the gates, that lake is brutal. I'm totally open to suggestions on which direction we should head though.

Male Human | Wizard 3 | 2/4 1st lvl, 2/2 2nd lvl | Spell DC 13 | Arcane Ward 2/9 | HP 23/23 | AC 15 | Saves S, D, C, I, W, Ch | Pass Perc | Status: Normal | Insp: None

Where do the gates lead? Either way, we should go to them, I'm just wondering which place they lead too. I would mostly like to go to Bligdenstone, and it seems Ghiv wants to as well. But I'm not going on the lake again.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer (Draconic) 3 - HP 23/23 - AC 15 - Perception 13 - SP 3/3

I am fine with Bligdenstone if we can get there by land.

Male Human Criminal Fighter AC15 HP12/[12] passive perception 13 passive insight 10 Saves: S+3 D+3 Cn+4 I+0 W+1 Ch+3 HD 1/[1] Init +3 Inspiration [y]

Me too

ya, I'm a big fan of land. No more flying death fish or demon lords.

Lantern Lodge

Male

Sloopbludoop to Blingdenstone will take you 20 days at a normal pace.

Male Half-Elf Paladin 3; AC 14, HP 0/0*, perception 10, spells: 1st - 2/3

I can provide food for myself and 5 others, but anything beyond that needs a check. Once we've traveled to a location I won't get lost traveling that way again, but I've never been this way before.

What is everyone thinking of doing for level 3? Any requests for Lenthus?
I was thinking of Pact of the Chain (imp), trade in charm person for suggestion, and take scorching ray for my new spell.

Male Human Criminal Fighter AC15 HP12/[12] passive perception 13 passive insight 10 Saves: S+3 D+3 Cn+4 I+0 W+1 Ch+3 HD 1/[1] Init +3 Inspiration [y]

I like that

Male Human Criminal Fighter AC15 HP12/[12] passive perception 13 passive insight 10 Saves: S+3 D+3 Cn+4 I+0 W+1 Ch+3 HD 1/[1] Init +3 Inspiration [y]

Are we level 3 yet?

I think I'm gonna go with cloud of daggers and retrain a spell into knock.

Lantern Lodge

Vothe, I will allow you to help the person on the Navigation rolls only.

Deleveled hps and commentary :)

Male Half-Elf Paladin 3; AC 14, HP 0/0*, perception 10, spells: 1st - 2/3

I'm excited to go oath of devotion. Turning undead, enhancing my weapon, immunity to disease... good level.

Male Human Criminal Fighter AC15 HP12/[12] passive perception 13 passive insight 10 Saves: S+3 D+3 Cn+4 I+0 W+1 Ch+3 HD 1/[1] Init +3 Inspiration [y]

Oath of Devotion rocks and is the more traditional paladin route

This adventure is definitely reminiscent of 2nd edition level of lethal adventures.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer (Draconic) 3 - HP 23/23 - AC 15 - Perception 13 - SP 3/3

I'm okay with that. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if we made it to the end with an entirely different cast than we started with. Though we've been lucky so far.

Ya, we have a good party makeup.

Male Half-Elf Paladin 3; AC 14, HP 0/0*, perception 10, spells: 1st - 2/3

5e itself is pretty damn brutal for D&D, I'm just happy that short and long rests offer good healing.

Male Human | Wizard 3 | 2/4 1st lvl, 2/2 2nd lvl | Spell DC 13 | Arcane Ward 2/9 | HP 23/23 | AC 15 | Saves S, D, C, I, W, Ch | Pass Perc | Status: Normal | Insp: None

When you said surprise round, did you mean an actual surprise round, or were you just saying that because the skeletons go last?

Lantern Lodge

Male

No, I meant they rolled a 1, I am skipping their turn giving you an extra. Basically the surprised round.

I am only hoping that you guys roll a 1 against Demogorgon. :)

Male Human | Wizard 3 | 2/4 1st lvl, 2/2 2nd lvl | Spell DC 13 | Arcane Ward 2/9 | HP 23/23 | AC 15 | Saves S, D, C, I, W, Ch | Pass Perc | Status: Normal | Insp: None

Sorry, I forgot, the skeleton also takes half damage on a miss. And if it dies, lenthus gains 5 temporary hp.

Lantern Lodge

Male

sorry, busy day yesterday. Noted, Lenthus.
