The combined attacks of Grimnir and Toctep manage to damage the skeletal warrior enough where the bones crumple to the floor...
The remaining skeletons are easily dealt with once their leader falls. Teena destroys one with her blasts, the two animal companions team up on another dragging it down and crushing its life-force and Toctep pummels a third and Grimnir smashes the last...
They check on the fallen female and determine she is alive, but wounded and unconscious.

"Go ahead and light the lantern, Kitsune. Let's collect the girl and her brother and get out of here. After checking that skeleton for magic of course," she says as she casts her Detect Magic cantrip and looking over the room.

GM Qwerty |

As Chankuto moves to light the lantern with the Everflame a gust of wind swirls through the chamber from no where and a blue translucent form begins to appear over the sarcophagus of Kassen.
'Many thanks for putting an end to Asar. It pains me to see how he turned away from the light after so many years together as sword brothers. We split after dividing a hoard of treasure and I am sure he felt cheated in some way and wanted his revenge. I know nothing of the recent grave-robbers you encountered in their other forms, possibly killed and raised to undead by Asar. They stole the amulets which are part of a key that opens up a great vault we plundered long ago. My memory fades but the amulet points the way to the vault itself if it is reassembled from its three component parts. Iramine has the last part. Find the elven sorceress and you find the last part. I bid you well...'
and a gust of wind swirls around the room once more as the blue misty form slowly fades from view, returning to his eternal rest while leaving some items at the base of his sarcophagus...
The items placed on the floor are a bag of holding, a +1 bashing shield, an elemental water gem and a scale from his armor to use in your time of need...

Toctep stands huffing and puffing for a while, the Nagaji seems to be exausted. After he has regained his composure he"drinks his potion of cure light wounds and then lights a torch at the torch on the wall.

Elric sheathes his great blade, wondering about the amulet.
Do any of you know where to find this sorceress?

![]() |

"I have no idea about a sorceress. I've not seen any signs of one. Perhaps heading back to town and consulting a sage, if there is one around, would be helpful."
Have we collected any parts of an amulet? I don't recall any.

GM Qwerty |

You scoop up the girl and make your way to the room with the curative water pool drinking from the pool and healing your wounds. You do this for the female as well and she awakens from her slumber.
"Who are you? Where am I?" she asks bewildered.
You explain what events transpired since you entered the crypt and she breaks down crying until you inform her that her brother is still alive and waiting for her on the first level. Then her tears of sorrow turn to tears of joy and she walks with you through the devastation of the crypt to met her brother.
The journey back to Kassen is somber and uneventful. Roldare is thrilled to see Dimira again and seems to most (but not all) of his sanity.
Returning to the town of Kassen you all find a celebration underway in their honor. Mayor Uptal is there to greet you at the gates, but his joy at their return quickly turns to horror when he finds out what has happened. The news quickly spreads throughout town and the harvest celebration turns melancholy. The folk do not blame you all for what happened, and most are rather grateful that this new menace is ended. The grand feast is still held in their honor, but it is not the same as it was in previous years. This year, many are drinking to help forget that they have lost friends and loved ones. Plans are made to return to the crypt and bury the slain townsfolk.
When the celebrations end, you return to your duties as Pathfinders awaiting your next mission...
