Orange is still staggered so no AOO. ((-33))
Orange moves back to Borq.
Thrym is up.
Qimok
|
Did Orange move more than 5 ft? If so, it provoked from moving within Qimok's reach with his pike.
But I think that misses anyway.

phaeton_nz, that bot swarm only moves 20'. I think the closest it can get to red is the green box.
Through Trouway's scrum, Raia sees Qimok turn another ooze into disgusting jello. That will leave Borq and Qimok to dealing with a single ooze while the rest of the team fights the close one. Hoping her swarm can keep up, she maintains the spell and backs through the doorway where she holds it open for her fellow Starfinders.
"Retreat to the right, if you retreat."
Nasty vines in area B6.
Qimok
|
"Good teamwork, nufriends! Only two left now!" Qimok says over comms as he sets to slashing at Orange, who conveniently came within reach. "This is one of the messier workouts I've had," he adds with some grim humor, as he splatters some more slimy gunk around him.

Feeling more confident
"Maybe I should have been using this big stick more often, not that I like beating things over the head or lack of head for fun, but if some mindless creatures want to aggressively attack us, I'm not having any moral reservation about smacking it hard. Maybe I'd change my mind if I had more options to consider, but currently this is the best option."
Keskodia then moves away from red

And that's Red wiped out. All the oozes are now colourful puddles on the floor and some of you have been hit by multi-coloured ooze splatter.
You can now search this room and find the console on the far right. It’s very obviously been retrofitted with two hundred year-old, but still functional, technology, including a solar-powered battery. Booting up immediately begins a holographic recording of an older and grittier, but still smirking, Jelev Rasheen.
Hey, slug! Took you long enough to catch up. Don’t beat yourself up about it though; I wasn’t all that miserable down here. I worked my way into the town well enough, as I’m sure you’ve heard, got into a couple of scrapes with these goons who fancy themselves a ‘syndicate’ in the making, ha! And before ya know it, I had folks eating out of my hand. But it’s time to clear out before I start putting down roots, and I won’t be leaving empty-handed—I scored myself not just a ship, but enough siccatite to pay a Kalistocrat’s ransom! With enough left over to leave you and the crew a little something, too. She cackles, sounding more like the Free Captain scoundrel in an old holofilm than the hero Requiem Falls imagines her to be. You know how this goes. Try not to take so long to catch up this time—you still owe me a drink. Rasheen out.
Further examination of the device uncovers an encoded signal pointing the way to the next beacon in the relay, exactly like those found at Rasheen’s two previous checkpoints, and the code needed to open the lock to area B9.
| Keskodia agent of SFS |
"Maybe I was wrong about Jek being crazy for wearing a pirate hat on the earlier missions, looking for Rasheen. I could use a rest before we see what's behind the door this code opens."
Keskodia sits down to rest and consider what they just saw.
spends a resolve point to regain stanima
"So if Rasheen turns out to really have been a pirate, I'm not sure what we are going to find at the end of the trail, and what do we tell the people of Requiem Falls? That might depend on what we find."
Qimok
|
Spend 1 RP to regain SP. Never quite triggered his Laugh at Danger feat.
Qimok is also eager to take a breather, and to scrape the worst of the ooze splatters off of his weapons and armor. But his toothy grin suggests that he is quite pleased with the battle's outcome, despite taking numerous blows.
"She was a veteran opportunist, at least. Like most adventurers," Qimok replies to Keskodia. "It's possible that we may never learn the whole truth, no matter how many of these beacon-chases Radaszam sends us on."
phaeton_nz
|
Once you are ready, you open the door to B9.
At the bottom of the spiral stairs sits a small room filled with boxes and boxes of gleaming siccatite ore. The shimmering metal lends the chamber a chill that makes the hair stand up on exposed skin.
This chamber contains a small fortune worth of raw siccatite ore, mostly loaded into crates awaiting transport, though a few pieces have been carved into decorative art objects.
So, now what?, and what do you tell the villagers when they ask you what happened?
| Keskodia agent of SFS |
"Perhaps instead of telling them what we found, we should show them. It might be easier to believe with their eyes than their ears."
Pregen Dakoyo
|
"The villagers did not seem eager to learn anything about Rasheen that would change their image of her. They didn't even want to know her old name. Let's take the computer and the art for Radaszam. And half the siccatite for ourselves." She sighs and continues, "We tell the Ravenlight heirs that mom left them a gift up here. Everyone wins."
phaeton_nz
|
Assuming you all agree, you head back down and tell the citizens what you found. The townspeople act shocked and saddened to hear of their town hero’s betrayal, but thank the PCs for telling them the “truth” and wish them well as the PCs return to the Unflappable Cockroach.
You return to the Starfinder Society with a pile of siccatite treasure and reports of a successful mission. The Acquisitives leader congratulates you heartily on a job well done and immediately sets his research team to decoding the next beacon’s signal.
Qimok
|
Unless Qimok is given a compelling reason to hide any if their findings from Rasheen's desendants or the other townsfolk, he does not.
The skittermander soldier is in a good mood for the return voyage. The team found the beacon, and have a treasure trove and a new lead to report to Radaszam. Qimok also knows he did a solid job of protecting his team during a combat that had looked rather dire for a moment.

Before I close this off, I'd like you to go back through the posts and see if you can draw any other conclusions from the clues scattered about
| Keskodia agent of SFS |
" I'm guessing from the last message from Jelev Rasheen we discovered, that Slug could have been referring to Korryn Bessel, Rasheen's old friend from the spike. Hard to tell if they were playing hide and seek with treasure, or Korryn Bessel was lagging behind for other reasons. Whatever was going on, it seems only a few know Jelev Rasheen in person by that name."
Keskodia pauses.
"Maybe the oozes got Rasheen, and whoever slug is didn't get the message."

Trouway. Could you please confirm your character number? The one you gave popped up a different name.
Thanks.

With a name like Rasheen's Requiem, I was expecting this would be the ending of the series, but with how SF1e ended sooner than originally planned, maybe there is hope we find Rasheen in SF2e. Either way, it was a fun game. Just realised we started over 13 months ago.

Thanks! Mine looks fine.
And wow, we missed something big at the end there. I guess that's bound to happen when the end of a long series coincides with holiday distractions.
