Koran, how do you have a +16 Initiative? Near as I can tell you don't really have any Init boosting stuff, and only 12 Dex.

Male Tiefling Wild Rager 11 / Spellbreaker 6 / Chevalier 3 / Champion 9 (current HP: 520/349)

+1 dex, +4 improved initiative, +1 ioun stone, +6 amazing initiative, and +5 cunning initiative. So actually it should be 17.

Ah, forgot about the two Inquisitor levels. I dn't think you have Improved Initiative listed on your sheet though.

Also, need to fix Marcus' Initiative then. Think I've only been ading 1/2 tier, or haven't updated it in a while one.

Edit: yeah, Marcus' Initiative should be +10, not +7. Add 3 to that, for a 28 Initiative.

Argh. Ate my post. If this double/triple posts, then just ignore the duplicates.

Caster Check (arcane): 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (7) + 28 = 35
Caster Check (divine): 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (5) + 27 = 32

Allison hastily weaves threads of magical might drawin from her gifts of arcane and divine might to get the jump on the armies of the Nine Hells Spell Synthesis.

With her divine symbol in her left hand, she attempted to banish the lead devil. Dismissal (DC 27)

With her right hand forming a series of complex gestures she draws forth a brilliant veil spreading across the plaza Loathsome Veil (DC 28) - affects up to 24 HD and each creature is treated as being 13 HD lower, starting with lowest first.

Will save vs DC 27 banishment 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29 succeeds! The pit fiend resists Dr Jones' spell....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27 fails! This ice devil is sickened....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26 fails! This ice devil is sickened....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 succeeds! This ice devil resists the veil's effects....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21 fails! This ice devil is sickened....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 18 = 34 succeeds! The pit fiend is unaffected by the veil....

Actually should've checked these devils' saves before rolling for the pit fiend, but won't make a difference anyway....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16 fails! Sickened....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17 fails! Sickened....

That's 7 total HD affected towards the HD limit so far.... If successful saves are counted, 16 total HD....

Male Tiefling Wild Rager 11 / Spellbreaker 6 / Chevalier 3 / Champion 9 (current HP: 520/349)

Korans eyes blaze with a divine fire, his skin appears to smolder and lighting seems to seep from his very pores. A wave of divine energy washes over the fierce ones and they feel there bodies filled with fervor and a thirst for battle. Quickened blessing of fervor. He crouches down like a beast preparing to pounce, his talons dig into the stones beneath his feat and he springs upward and across the plaza, coming down upon the Pit fiend with all the rage of the powerful Asgardians and demons combined. Mjolnirs head is sheathed in an aura of crackling electricity dancing up and down the monstrous tieflings tree trunk arms.

440 damage total. Thor's demonic herald bulls into his distant kin and decimates it with a whirlwind of powerful thundering blows.

Will (dc 26): 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (5) + 22 = 27 success!

Koran destroys the pit fiend! It's dying roars echo terribly in the plaza....

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

Koran is now within range of the effects of Dr Jones' veil (I assume she placed it so the dangerous side is facing the devils at near maximum range so as not to affect the angels or the FOs at their starting distance)....

So let's have a Will save (DC 28) from Koran to resist the nauseating veil....

Yingzen, not wishing to expose himself to the veil by rushing up to the devils, and predicting the devils will rush the FOs current position by the obelisk, decides to conceal himself behind the obelisk and launch a sneak attack on the first devil that gets close enough....

Stealth with urban bonus 1d20 + 43 ⇒ (2) + 43 = 45

Koran is very aware that the veil is in fact an illusion created by his companion.

If Marcus moves to either side of the devils' line, a move of about 60 ft, he can catch all of them in a line. Where he currently stands, he is facing the back of their line and can catch any one of the devils only in a line....

Human Dark Tapestry Oracle 15; Mythic Hierophant Tier 6; HP: 114/114

Sweet. Can make it with Blessing of Fervor up.

Marcus flies to the side of the Devils' line.

He hits them with a Mythic Holy Smite and then flashes a Cold Ice Strike at the lined up Devils.

Holy Smite: 10d10 ⇒ (10, 1, 9, 10, 6, 4, 2, 6, 3, 10) = 61

Cold Ice Strike: 15d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 1, 6, 5, 1, 1, 3, 2, 1, 6, 3, 6, 3, 2) = 49

DC 24 Will for half an negate Blinded (2 rounds) on Holy Smite, DC 24 Reflex for half damage on Cold Ice Strike (cold damage).

Assuming that I am 50 feet away...

Grimm swiftly creates enough bombs for his three arms and launches a confusion bomb followed by two regular bombs at the devil suffering from the nauseated veil.

Can I use Force of will to reroll?

Marcus must first beat SR on all the devils (horned devils SR 27, ice devils SR 24). If he beats the horned devils' SR:

Will save vs DC 24 mythic holy smite 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 fails! This horned devil takes 61 damage and is blinded for 2 rounds....

Will save vs DC 24 mythic holy smite 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27 succeeds! This horned devil takes 30 damage....

Reflex save vs DC 24 cold strike 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24 succeeds! This devil takes 14 cold damage after resistance....

Reflex save vs DC 24 cold strike 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31 succeeds! This horned devil takes 14 cold damage after resistance....

Assuming Marcus beats SR 24 with both spells:

Will save vs DC 24 mythic holy smite 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27

Will save vs DC 24 mythic holy smite 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

Will save vs DC 24 mythic holy smite 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

Will save vs DC 24 mythic holy smite 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

The ice devils are, of course, immune to cold damage, so we won't bother with whether they save or not vs the cold strike....

What's the save DC vs Grimm's bombs, and do they deal fire damage?

Radsworth watches the might of Derrik and Koran passively.

He had been .. distracted .. lately. Something greater had been tugging at his mind lately, the idea that their trials on earth would end soon. When they did, what came next was what bothered him.

Had Cthulu dominated other worlds? Keeping a cosmic balance meant guardianship on a cosmic scale.

Still, there were matters requiring his attention now, mostly that of observing the Fierce Ones as they sought the grail. The current enemy posed no real threat, but he would not let a hero fall to a chance blow.

Radsworth is content to watch for the moment, delaying his action to the bottom of the round.

After Sieg:

The two emerald-skinned angels with double wings and giant hammers fly through Dr Jones' veil into melee range with the horned devil still standing....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (5) + 19 = 24 fails! This planetar is sickened (treated as 4 HD?)....

Will save vs DC 28 veil 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23 fails! This planetar is also sickened by the veil....

Both stop and seem to turn even more green.... They backpedal, flapping their mighty double wings in an effort to escape the effects of the nauseating veil....

The remaining, sickened horned devil attempts to escape, stepping back from Derrik and attempting a concentration check to use his greater teleport SLA while sickened....

Concentration vs DC 29 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (7) + 22 = 29 succeeds!

The horned devil teleports away....

The two astral devas, seeing that mortal heroes foretold by the Archangel Gabriel have arrived and are handily defeating the devils, are more than happy to let the FOs finish off the four ice devils still remaining....

They play a heroic fanfare on their golden trumpets in honor of the FOs!

The three nauseated ice devils retch and stagger back away from the veil....

The unaffected ice devil sees the battle is quickly lost and teleports away....

Hail, angels of the God of Israel! We are indeed the mortals Archangel Gabriel foretold.... We are called The Fierce Ones, and I am Daisy Eagle-Feather, the mortal chosen by your deity to bear the Holy Grail, though I can barely understand why.... I'm not Jewish or Christian.... But I humbly accept this charge, and will do my best to keep the Grail safe and use it to do good and defeat evil!

HAHAHAHA!! You need not be a worshipper of the Great I Am to be chosen by Him and utilized as His Earthly tool.... Many an atheist, pagan, or infidel hath served The Almighty unwittingly or in spite of different loyalties.... With the Grail, thou shalt harness the divine power of I Am, and with it, keep strong thine brave companions, in their fight against the Great Beasts of the Apocalypse.... I shall guide thee and thine companions to where the Grail awaits.... Come.... Be not afraid....

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

The solar Thuriel and the other angels form a protective ring around the FOs (as if such were necessary), with Thuriel taking the lead. They guide the FOs through the ancient doors of St Peter's Basilica, through the nave, the opulent sanctuary, and to a secret door that opens onto a spiral stairwell, descending into a subterranean catacomb beneath the basilica....

After several minutes of wending through the labyrinth of passageways and chambers beneath the basilica, the angels lead the FOs to yet another spiral stairwell, descending deeper beneath St Peter's. This stair leads down into a deeper level of catacombs, with several secret doors that the angels lead the FOs through....

At length, the angels bring the FOs to the secret vault wherein they are to meet with the priest of I Am and receive from him the Holy Grail....
