Glad you agree with my method of thinking.. it follows Derrik's pretty well and gives us the small satisfaction of ganking that over-grown fish, while also giving us a seed to find these artifacts.. then have them proven to be true in the tower fight.

This, in my estimation is where this campaign really starts to get fun. The Sarasota stuff will be epic, don't get me wrong, but these side adventures to grab artifacts are going to be a blast, and are, I feel, where hanging in this long starts to really pay off.
Re: Dwayne Lee's player, don't think he's playing much lately (or ever), I think it was something that sounded like a lot of fun that he ultimately doesn't really have the time to commit to, so I'm probably gonna have DLH split off when you get back to AZ and go off to seek Doc Holliday's Revolver with the ghost of Jeb and some other Pandora's Box bad-asses and maybe a few Navajo braves....
....and let The Fierce Ones continue their quests for the other artifacts without DL until such time as my buddy has more time or interest to RP him....

Hehe, So small notes.. those who made the save for the babbling don't have to do it again ( but those who failed.. do). AND the swallow whole ( or engulf for the mouther) still needs a check albeit wit a +5 for pinning ( for a +12 bonus) Otherwise pretty different pace in this fight..got a highly intelligent creature with Invisibility.. and a wise-cracking one who is making people crazy.
Another note Senor Grimm, IF Krar is indeed swallowed and inside the creature he takes HALF the damage from AOE's and energy attacks I believe.

And I just noticed I've been shorting DLH on his damage with his AR-15. Now that he is 5th level and has gun training I (rifle), he adds his Dex mod to damage dealt with rifles! Which means The Babbler is actually unconscious and dying at -5 hp....
