I am going to be travelling Sept 20-23. I might occasionally get to check in and post an update, but for the most part I will not be online. Please feel free to bot me using whatever disposable resources I have.

GM Ladile |

Just checking to make sure folks are enjoying themselves so far and that the pace isn't too fast or too slow! :)
*edit* And thank you for the notice, Poison Oakley!

![]() |

I'm enjoying the floral shenanigans :)
"Let the rabbits wear glasses!"

![]() |

It's felt a little alien, trying to put on my PC's skin and react as he would.
But you're doing your usual outstanding job, GM.

GM Ladile |

Glad to hear that folks are enjoying themselves so far! Working night shift has thrown my schedule off-kilter a bit (had today off, slept through a lot of it without meaning to) but I'll get an update posted soon :)

![]() |

Sorry, it seems I was no longer getting notifications of updates. When I checked because the game had been silent too long, I found several posts.
Now that I’be posted again, hopefully I will start getting updates.

GM Ladile |

Okay wow, I was about to check with you and see if things were okay; I'd just assumed you'd been really busy IRL and with the special and hadn't had time to check in. Glad to have you back, though!

GM Ladile |

Hey folks, I'm working today and we're also getting a new student so I should probably be all sociable and set a good example and stuff so I'll catch up with the game this evening when I get home :)

GM Ladile |

To give a little more background information on Zuri, she's technically a Human Acolyte (Adept). They're called out as often appearing in the place of true clerics in settlements that are much more remote and/or primitive. So...I see her as someone that could, with time and training, eventually emerge with actual class levels and an even stronger connection to the natural world - perhaps as a druid, maybe as a cleric of a deity like Gozreh or Erastil, or maybe even as a nature/healer type of witch.
On that note, ever been tempted to take a (relatively minor) NPC from a scenario and recreate them as an actual Pathfinder following their encounter(s) with the organization? Because now I wonder what a 'Zuri the Pathfinder' character might look like! Perhaps an idea for PFS2e or something? ;)

Nosig made an "Auntie Baltwin" PC. I haven't seen her in action, just noticed her on the boards.

In case anyone is wondering, we *are* getting closer to the end of the scenario and should be on-track to wrap up before Gameday comes to a close :)

Though it shouldn't affect Gameplay flow too much, my work schedule has been shifted to solely night shifts in the wake of our one dedicated night shift person quitting unexpectedly. This will probably be what I'm doing for the somewhat-foreseeable-future so you'll be less likely to see posts from me during daylight hours (say, anywhere from about 8-10am up to 5-7pm CST).

Sorry for the quiet; had some family business yesterday evening and more today. Updates to resume later this evening!

GM Ladile |

So....holy crap guys, we're almost done! And you know what that means? It's time to roll for boons! I'll encourage each of you to make your own roll because I think it's more fun that way. Roll a d20 and if you get a 19 or a 20, roll a d4 to determine which boon you'll get :)
Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 2

![]() |

I rolled an 8, but I couldn't get the post to stick.

GM Ladile |

No worries Tacca, I believe you. There did seem to be some forum weirdness late last night that went beyond the more common 'post doesn't show up until I refresh a bunch of times' issue that we've been seeing lately - maybe something to do with the time change? Who knows.

![]() |

I've been getting that a lot lately too - but randomly. I think it might be a server speed/race condition of some kind. Been that way since the early Oct crashes. Also a number of other features have gone missing.

![]() |

Was it the anti-spam feature? I tried to post a "Boon?" dice roll, but it failed. However, I noticed that I'd used the exact same text as Captain C, and I know that the forums reject any post that is a duplicate of another post in the thread as an anti-spam measure. (It kept the dice result though).
I've recently had an alias edit go completely haywire, applying to and overwriting a different alias than the one I was editing. Website team have mostly fixed it by restoring an older version, but apparently they generally cannot find older versions. I am now keeping offline backups of all my pbp alias character sheets (the code, as well as the paper sheets I naturally keep).

Bad Seed looks sadly at the dead tarp monster, but then brightens slightly before affecting his usual stony punk demeanor at the thought of the EPIC song this is going to make. He wonders if he could invent a musical instrument to make the wicked splinter spraying sounds...
Bad Seed has to be dipping Skald, right?

GM Ladile |

^I like it too! It might also give Bad Seed the means to be a little more expressive, though still in his own, unique way :)

![]() |

Sounds like a fun idea, although the Flame Dancer bard might also be appropriate. The big question is how much to dip. For either of those, two levels gets you versatile performance.

GM Ladile |

@Poison Oakley - When you get a chance, please PM me your email address so our wonderful organizers can get your boon to you once I report the game :)

GM Ladile |

Congrats guys! As I said in Gameplay, the scenario is essentially done aside from some wrap-up RP. Since I'm about to head out of town later today and won't return until Wednesday afternoon I'll get your chronicles to you that evening once I return.
Thank you to everyone for joining me and playing and I hope that everyone had a good time! I apologize that it took so long to finish up (this has been long even by my standards) but hopefully things were still engaging and interesting. As always, if there are things still unclear about the story feel free to ask about them here or via PM if you like.
For chronicle purposes if you haven't rolled your Day Job please go ahead and do so now, as well as let me know if there's anything else in particular you want me to note on your chronicle. I'll get the game reported soon!

![]() |

Thanks for running GM!
This was a great game! I hope the leshy tangles can get together again sometime. "BOOM!" :)

![]() |

Kn: Local for Missing Mentor: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Well, that simplifies things greatly.
Captain Chlorophyll tries to ask around in Alkenstar about the gnome that grew him. Unfortunately the smoke is too much for the little leshy and they don't find any information on their small druid friend.

GM Ladile |

I'm back! Chronicles and the reporting of the game to follow shortly, once I finish making my rounds to all of my games :)

GM Ladile |

Okay folks, the game has been reported and you can find your chronicles >>here!<< As always, please let me know if anything seems amiss and I'll change it as soon as I can. Regarding the marked-out boon...
The Verdant Spark gives off a sort of radiation due to the manipulation/tinkering of the ghorans that created it, which is why they started to wither and die and subsequently sealed the seedling away in the cavern. This radiation is what has been affecting the people of Mercy all this time but it's specifically called out in the scenario as only affecting humanoid creatures. So any non-humanoid PCs are immune to the effect, as are companion creatures like animal companions, familiars, etc.
Feel free to give your report(s) over in Gameplay and/or include any closing comments or scenes as you see fit and that'll pretty much be a wrap! If I'm able (silly forum bugs), I'll then mark this campaign inactive within the next day or two.
Once again it's been a pleasure GMing for everyone and I hope you enjoyed it. If you'd like me to keep you in mind for future games of mine, please let me know (here or via PM if you like)! And @Boomy, I may very well do another leshy game sometime down the line - perhaps mixing it up a bit with some of the leshies from Tangle #2, even. If I do, I'll be sure to hit you and any other interested parties up :)

I'd be interested in the further adventures of Team Leshy, too.

Thank you so much for the group and running the game!

Okay wow, that's basically everyone up for another leshy adventure at some point - awesome! I'd like to take it easy over the holiday season and just focus on my two long-term PFS groups for a bit but I'll definitely have to see if I can find something low-level for everyone to play soon. Are all/most of you on PFS Session Tracker by chance?

GM Ladile |

^Turns out all of you are except for Bad Seed! A quick perusal of available options shows that 1-5 scenarios that everyone can play are in pretty short supply. We have:
Scenarios
#10-01 Oathbreakers Die
#10-06 Treason's Chains
#9-12 Shrine of the Sacred Tempest
Quests
Silverhex Chronicles
Phantom Phenomena
House of Harmonious Wisdom
Honor's Echo
Fallen Family, Broken Name
Modules
The Dragon's Demand
No big rush to decide anything of course, but something for you folks to chew on~

![]() |

Lots of interesting options there.
I'd love to play Dragon's Demand some time, but need to check something: I plan to use an Expedition Manager boon at level 2 (assuming I've garnered the 6 PP that I need) to acquire a masterwork pepperbox pistol, but the wording of the boon is such that it can only be used when I would roll a day job check. Looking at the Season 10 Guide (pg.42), I think that we get a downtime segment in between each chronicle sheet. How much of the module might we play? The boon needs two dayjob checks / downtime segments.
(Boomy's second level will be either gunslinger or spellscar drifter cavalier).
I am sort of holding Oathbreakers Die for my Daggermark inquisitor.

![]() |

Tacca's already level-2, so Silverhex Chronicles, Phantom Phenomena, and Honor's Echo are out. I think I've also played House of Harmonious Wisdom with a level-2 PC, so that might be out as well. (I'll double-check.)

![]() |

Sorry, it looks like I missed something in my record keeping. I played Shrine of the Sacred Tempest on this character just before I started this game. Since it is applied to this character, even a replay will not work.
My character is now level 3.
Guess I get to go through all my records, see if there is anything else I missed.
