is it Azdak's turn now? I'll list what I'm going to do just so it's there...

Evan is also choosing the +2 to attack, AC, and reflex saves.

Reflex Saves vs those fire attacks...
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 2 = 29
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 2 = 15
Evan takes 5 points of fire damage: 41/46 HP

Round 2
Evan 5ft steps and spends the round casting that summon I mentioned before. If the GM wills it I'll keep the old role for number of celestial wolves, or I can of course roll again.

I've posted round 2. I'm waiting for round 3. Please note that I'm leaving on Saturday for a trip to Alaska for a couple weeks. How close are we to completing this scenario? What is the Game Day deadline? I am willing to post multiple times per day to move us to our conclusion.

We can do this Bill! Kevin keep your roll

Three guards again shoot at Boom, not wanting to get too close.

XBow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
XBow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
XBow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

But they're near useless. The daemon, however, unleashes it's full might on Harnac and Boom.

Against Boom: Bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

Her luck holds!

Against Harnac: Claw1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16, Claw2: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16

Desna smiles!

Round III

The bloodlust of her greatsword yet unslaked, the tiefling sidles a step closer to the Adepts and swings mightily into the daemon again and again.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 11 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 11 - 2 = 20

If the daemon survives Boom's attack, Azdak let's fly another three magic missile, believing it to be his best spell to damage the daemon.

Magic Missile: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4, 3) + 3 = 12

Azdak encourages the Riftrwarden to give himself a little more safe distance from the daemon.

Based on what Evan can see right now, the wolves appear where I placed them on the map, except the far ones (red and green) that had to run into flanking positions... though they had plenty of move to get there without AoOs. Evan directs them in Celestial to attack...

Red
attack roll: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 2 = 20 (normal attack plus flank)
damage: 1d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7 (the last plus 2 is for smite in case they're evil)

Gorum's gonads! That's a bad ass turn Evan. The red furred wolf chomps down on the guard who is still sizzling from Magic Missile damage. The guard dies with a scream. Two wolves fail to take a bite out of anything, but the yellow one manages a solid bite (with a flash of light due to the Smite.) The guard winces and falls to the ground, eager to exact revenge on the wolf. Finally the cleric unleashes a spiritual starknife which rips the flesh off of the guards side.

Harnac slays the prone guard, leaving the final visible guard to surrender, "Don't kill me, I'm just a hired guard! It's not worth my life. Quickly! Below! Go after them and spare my life PLEASE!"

...Assuming you grant him his wish, we'll stay in initiative. The guard points to the South East where there is a now open trap door which leads down stairs. It's a two round walk to get there. So we'll move there and maintain duration of spells at -2 rounds. The map is now accurate.

The stairs lead downward just a few yards. Near the center of the room stands a broad wooden table surrounded by several chairs. A wooden bucket, a set of brushes, and a canvas kit of some kind rest next to an iron ring affixed to the wall and threaded with a set of manacles. Two passageways lead away from this room, both lined with small wooden doors on either side. To the north is the missing crossbowman, clearly taking orders from a woman shouting at him down the hall. To the South is an emaciated, hairless canine waith a strange air of menace and cruelty about it. (Knowledge Planes to ID).

Why is what's happening so disorganized?

I thought the two rounds the GM passed were us traveling to another location... and the guard pleading for his life was left behind? So did Boom kill him? Or are we in another location? Combat map shows different location... so if Boom stayed behind to kill the final archer, does that mean Boom isn't there yet?

As for healing, if people look hurt, I can start firing off channels. Let me know.

So as I understand it, it's Kirael's turn on round 5 still... after we arrived in the new location. And Boom would be next on round 6.

I'll take at least partial blame for that. I do a fair amount of PBP, and when I don't think my actions will affect/interfere with anyone elses, I'm not afraid ot go out of turn (in case it becomes my turn and I'm busy). I figured my holding the passage south fit that bill.

This will occur after Kirael's Round 6, just skipping ahead again to speed things along because we only have three days left.

Oh, and I assume the crossbowman is dead?

Round VII

Fully intent not to let Evan have ALL the fun, Boom finishes her amputation of the crossbowman with a flourish and surges onward (switching over to the +30ft to base speed bonus from BoF). Reaching down with her off-hand she pulls from a pouch by her side a small, curiously-glowing white vial, she jams it into one of the even more strange-looking wax-covered balls on her belt. This she then tosses gleefully at the Garundi woman, giggling madly.

Bomb: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 8 - 2 = 18 against Touch AC
Fire Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 11

Upon (presumably) striking the woman, the waxy bulb balloons into a brilliant burst of burnt orange, setting fire to just about everything nearby.

Still giggling, Boom raises her greatsword high above her head and gets ready to charge...

Round VI

Satisfied with her healing of the party, Kirael runs over (running far further than usual) to Harnac's side to fight the yet unidentified beast. With a yell, she swings her greatsword at the canine.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

"Bah!" she yells, "It is hardier than I thought!"

ROUND 7 (again, a bit out of turn, but it looks like 2 separate battles now, so this shoudl not affect anything else)

DMS--it's unclear what square(s) the doggie Hack and Kirael are fighting. if it's large, hack will stay where he is. If it's Medium, he'll shift 5' to possibly set up a flank (where exactly depends on what square the hound is in). Kindly allow me to reserve the right for said 5' step once we detemrine doggie's exact position.

Hack grins at the arrival of his new friend, and winks at her in greeting.

Well, le's jus' SEE about that, ar??

Damage: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14

Attack, Blessing of Fervor: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

Yes, the guard is dead and Kirael misses. I fixed the dog's square.

Round VII:

Boom: Burns the woman with a napalm bomb.
Azdak: Current
Evan: On deck
Harnac: Hit
Baddies: TBD
Kirael: TBD

Azdak and Evan.

Azdak should be next. I would normally wait, but I won't be in front of a computer at all tonight, and I don't want to hold up the group. So...

Evan and his celestial wolves close on the spell caster woman blue and green draw AoOs if it matters. The wolves try to tear into her...

Blue (with no flank yet unless they can all move and then all attack)
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 (no more smite)
free trip: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Green (with no flank yet unless they can all move and then all attack)
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 (no more smite)
free trip: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Red (with flank assuming the caster didn't somehow get rid of blue and green)
attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 2 = 17
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 (no more smite)
free trip: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Yellow (with flank assuming the caster didn't somehow get rid of blue and green)
attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 2 = 24
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 (no more smite)
free trip: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

I think the spiritual weapon has a limited speed, so it probably fell behind and winked out of existence. And I'm realizing I don't have my character with me at the moment... I think Evan will give the red wolf bit of luck for next time it needs to roll well... there wasn't a point during the turn Evan could do it and still end up moving as much as he did.

I kid you not, those are all hits. She doesn't have a weapon out either...

She's nearly killed by the initial onslaught. Surrounded by wolves, drawing 4 AoOs if she tries to cast a spell with AC 11...

Barring objection, I'm calling it...

Round 7

Azdak moves back into the room with Harnac, Kirael, and the dog. With little concentration he directs his flaming sphere to move toward the outsider.

Seriously?! Yeesh. My only "objection" is the awesomeness that Boom is about to cleave her in half, were she to survive 'til then (seriously, a literal 95% chance to do at least 17 damage!).

So, are you calling the whole combat, or just her death? There's still the eldritch-dog.

I hate doing it this way, but combat. Once she goes, the wolf will only last 4 rounds no matter what. Again, my apologies guys. This is NOT indicative of how I normally run things around here.

No worries, it's still fun =)

With the foes fallen, the weight of her sword suddenly seems a mountain to Boom, even with the mutagen still coursing through her veins. "Hu.. hurry!... Let's get... get what we need.." she gasps between labored breaths, "and... get out... before.. the Legion... arrives." She drags her uncooperative feet towards the nearest door and yanks it open, then the same for the next and the next. "Sewers are... are that way. Find... find Riftwardens first."
