I went with classic, secret agent, well groomed hair, black pinstripe silk suit, two guns with sharkskin grips, Light armor under clothes, heavy boots, silk shirt under silk suit, fairly tan, but still Caucasian,
For personality take agent J and sterling archer with just a dash of James Bond.

Yeah, I have a huge collection of pictures. But... my mind usually doesn't work within those, but rather, off of those. My first character on these forums has an avatar that's basically blue goo in a bowl, because despite having searched through the images like ten times, I have yet to find an image that fits him. Realistically... I have yet to find more than a handful of male images that don't look terrible.
Incidentally, Foul, shame on you for picking the wrong Bond. Needs more Sean Connery.

No one has told Damian what the sensor was. So... Damian is trying to find the thing that appeared and then disappeared.

So, some people understood and just chose not to show it :)

I'd say that Scath could at least understand our body language. For example, Gray was cheery up until the whole tripping incident... and now he's acting decidedly annoyed... but moreso, his body language shows that his pride's been wounded.

Scath would need to learn catfolk, humans don't speak the same language as apes. :)

Scath just sensed something unnatural in the river, so he said avoid it. He don't believe in messing with things that are unnatural if you can help it.
| Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |
Well... looking at the description of his line, versus your line... his line says that he's putting a warning on the river. Your line doesn't have an arrow :p. Unless something changed the warning, then we're standing there wondering whether we shouldn't cross the line, whether we should slip into the water, whether we should avoid the water... :p
If the line still has the arrow saying to stay away from the water... Gray will move away from the chasm and keep going. :P

Any different smell coming off the river?
Scath looks for a clear piece of ground, and scratches a big arrow pointing toward the river where it's quiet, about 20 ft back up the river bank. Then he scratches W A R N I N G in the dirt in common.
Then he makes a big circle around that part of the river, at least 50 ft away from the edge of the bank.

Mmhmm. But the description we got was different. We just have a line with warning written near it. No arrow. I went with the DM's description, because the DM may have done hijinx in the meantime between you doing it and us following. If it hasn't been messed with, then a lot of our interactions are skewed due to the lack of an arrow. One way 'oh, that's dangerous' the other way 'W A R N I N G' is pretty much just underlined :p

You should check my rolls for Flare in my other game. The only rolls that have -counted for something- have been 9 or lower. Everything else has been knowledge checks that bore -no fruit-. :P I can't even get a decent initiative check.

This is essentially what happened, but beside a river. You were knocked out more from rocks hitting you on the way up than on the way down.

To everyone in my games, if I get snippy or upset, please say something to me. Between work, lack of sleep, and tinnitus coming on sunday, I feel like a bear who's been woken up in mid january. I'm trying hard not to get snippy with people, but I'm not perfect. I feel like I've got a dog whistle going off in my eardrum all the time.

Sorry for any and all hold ups, I'm adjusting to switching jobs (better pay, more hours, first time on the night shift, physically intensive job)
When I finally get home I'm exhausted and my time I'm conscious and able to post is limited
I should adjust soon, but in the mean time posts may be slow

To anyone who has incurred the wrath of these dice, I feel you.
LOL, like Gray said, +25 isn't dice wrath at 5th level, it's 'you can't possibly avoid it' :)

Awww... I just made myself sad. I looked up silvanshee, thinking their strength bonus was actually +20. Not even close, at a +8. Because I was like 'man, that's hilarious and cool, combining silvanshee's 1 minute super strength with augment summoning.' But... alas. Both are enhancement bonuses. So the silvanshee, for one minute, has a whopping 11 strength. :(
Still hilarious to have a tiny creature be so strong, but... definitely not the ~27 I was expecting when I thought about it. That would have been hilarious. 'the tiny cat bites you... roll fort v. massive damage.' :P
| Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |
11str and tiny... probably not. It's carrying capacity is 1.5 for quadruped, then 1/4 for tiny, I -think-. Assuming it's 1/3 just to err on the side of the player, that's still half of the capacity of an 11str human. :(
That was so cool, too.
It's kinda silly that its strength 'bonus' basically just removes its penalties to hit and damage for 10 rounds. XD.

And another game Scath gets into appears to go 'poof'. *le sigh*
