Terquem |
Mazrim, let's keep that strength check to see if you can keep from being lifted off of the ground, but maybe your modifiers are better if you try a Combat Maneuver, to break the grapple.
Rowning drops to the ground and scrambles away, while Mazrim struggles to get free and firmly plants his feet on the ground trying to resist the monsters pull.
Hallister has jumped to try and rescue Luca, who is unconscious.
The monsters now have their actions in turn 3
Monster that was attacking Rownig, frustrated because he has dropped out of its reach, scuttles across the ceiling toward Moralane, and attacks her
Attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 damage (if successful) 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 attempt to start a grapple 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 (also only if successful)
The attack misses
The monster trying to pull Luca towards the ceiling makes an opposed strength check against Hallister Hallister can apply a +4 modifier because of the extra weight he is adding to Luca’s
Monsters Strength Check 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Assuming Mazrim does not break the grapple with a Combat Maneuver, the monster attacking Mazrim will make a strength check to lift him off of the ground 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 if the results is greater than 6 he succeeds and will make a grapple check to do constrict damage 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
The monster attacking Atharessa will try to lift her off of the ground 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Opposed by Atharessa’s strength check 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
And then attempt to do constrict damage 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 damage if successful 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Rownig Fleetfoot |

Rownig will stand up and move away another 15 feet, draws his bow and fires an arrow at the creature holding Mazrim.
sh bow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12;damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Dern hangin' tunnel vermin! grumbles loudly, "Blast'd cursed bow!
"Hey...Priest don't ye got sum sort of bless'n to 'elp"

Terquem |
Caught completely unprepared by the sudden weight and strength of Hallister, the monster holding Luca is pulled down from the ceiling and falls prone to the ground taking 1d6 ⇒ 4 damage
Moralane takes a five foot step back, out of the monster’s reach and fires another arrow
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 damage if >17 1d6 ⇒ 2
Azram raises an arm and makes a gesture as if crossing out the monster that has fallen to the floor and channels positive energy healing everyone, except the monster that has already taken damage for 6 points, effectively stabilizing Luca does she recover? I haven’t been keeping track of her hit points like I should be, but she is free from the monsters grapple
Athatressa will try to break the hold around her neck
Grapple check 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 she needs to beat a 16

Terquem |
Mazrim takes constrict damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Okay the way I see it at the beginning of round 4
Luca has taken 11 points of damage (10 from attacks, one from a round of being unconscious) and has been healed for 6, meaning she has taken a total of 5 points of damage, is free and conscious at the beginning of the round and should establish a new initiative, but she is prone
Rownig has taken 16 points of damage and was healed for 6, so he has suffered ten points of damage so far
Hallister has taken no damage, and has rescued Luca
Mazrim has taken 12 points of damage and was healed for 6 points so he has taken 6 points of damage so far, is grappled and is off of the ground
Atharessa has taken 10 points of damage and was healed for 6 so she has taken 4 points so far, was lifted off the ground, broke the grapple, fell five feet to the ground and is now prone
Moralane has taken no damage
Azram has taken no damage
One monster has taken 14 points of damage and is prone

Luca Shatterstone |

Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Luca falls to the ground and wakes up with a coughing fit. A quick glance upward tells her all she needs to know and send her temper flaring. She moves out of reach as best she can, but not before sending another bolt of fire aimed at the choker lifting Mazrim off the floor.
"Fires take ye, ye gods-damned monsters!"
Attack Fire Bolt 4/6 left: 1d20 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (4) - 2 - 4 = -2
[ooc]Attack while prone, then crawl to E-10

Terquem |
Mazrim wrestles the monsters arm from around his neck, and falls to the floor prone
he can take a move action
The monsters now attack
Attack on Moralane 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 damage if >18 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 and grapple attempt 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Atharessa is prone, so the monster that was attacking her cannot reach her, and goes after Hallister instead.
Attack on Hallister 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 damage if >18 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 and grapple attempt 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
The monster attacking Mazrim will attack him if he stands, or will go after Azram if he does not
Attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 Mazrim’s AC is 15, Azram’s 14, damage1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 grapple attempt 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
The forth monster, who is prone and on the ground, will crawl 10 feet to G8 and get to its feet
Atharessa will Swear, it is a litany of offensise and curses shouted in a sing song voices and containing a fair number of rhymes and allusions to old Dwarven War songs (Bardic Ability: Inspire Courage), but she will stay on the ground out of the monster’s reach
Moralane will take another five foot step, out of the reach of the monster that is attacking her, and fire an arrow at it
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 damage if >16 1d6 ⇒ 6
Azram will act after it is clear if he or Mazrim was attacked.

Mazrim Deacon |

HP 16/27
Next round:
Mazrim will attack again but this time will swing his blade in wide defensive arcs.
attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1) + 3 = 8Damage is halved if it hits and his Defence is +4

Rownig Fleetfoot |

Rd 5:
Rownig begins to precurse his cursed bow, "Ye dern useless piece wood's gonna be kindle if ye miss dis time." He then notches his arrow and tries to get within flanking distance of one of the creatures shoots. However He is careful to stay out of the reach of the creature.
Sh bow: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 2 = 18;damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4
sneak att: 1d6 ⇒ 3
*Reduce the att. by 2 if he can't flank.
*Reduce damage by 1, plus the sneak att. damage.

Luca - The ceiling is a bit more than 5 feet above the head of the tallest dwarf in the party (I don't know who that is, just generalizing) so that the monsters clinging to the ceiling are out of reach from normal melee weapons wielded by people standing on the ground. I don’t know what spell you are thinking of, but it is safe to assume that any spell targeting a monster on the ceiling will not affect anyone standing on the ground.
Pouncing on the monster as it tries to find a way up the wall and back to the ceiling, Hallister strikes with everything he’s got. The weapon shatters bone and flesh and nearly cleeves one of the things arms from its body. Spitting blood and making a soft guggling sound, the monster falls lifeless to the floor.
Rownig- you will hit (in round 5), but don’t forget the +1 from Atharessa’s Inspiring Song. I am going to assume you are shooting at the monster that has dropped Mazrim, right, if so, no on the flanking, if you decided to change to the monster closing in on Moralane then yes on the flanking. In round three you crawled, to let’s say B6. But in round 4 you took a bit of liberty with the actions you wanted to do, stand from prone, move 15 feet and fire an arrowm but not a big deal. Can we say that you stood, from prone, a move action and fired from that position? This would put you still in B6, and you would be flanking the monster attacking Moralane
Now that there is a map I feel compelled to keep track of where everyone is. So:
Hallister is in F8, attacked and killed monster in G8
Luca is prone in E10
Mazrim is in D7 fighting defensively against a monster on the ceiling directly above him
Atharessa is prone in C8
Moralane has backed up to E3, shooting at a monster that has moved from B9 to E4
Azram is in C8 and will hurl another Acid Dart at the monster in D7 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 damage if>13 1d6 ⇒ 3
Round 4 will end after Luca takes her action

I did forget the +1 to hit from the IC. I'm fine where ever you you put me. I put my Rd 5 action up, since I read the monsters then our NPC's acted. Hal goes last if memory serves, so I thought we were at the top of the next round. Hope I didn't confuse anyone.

Rownig Fleetfoot |

Luca Shatterstone |

I was thinking Burning Hands. ;)
Standing up and 5-footing to E-9. Torch the pesky buggers @ D-7 and C-8.
"Damn, bloody buggers. I SAID BURN! DAMMIT!"
Luca stands up as holy fire halos her head and her hair dances like flames in slow motion. Runes of fire and steel covers her arm as the holy mark on her shoulder burns white-hot as fire dances on her fingers. She aims at two of monsters still on the ceiling and sends flames roaring to burn the ceiling.
Burning Hands: Reflex DC 14 for half: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4

Terquem |
reflex save versus Burning Hands 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 and second 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
The sudden intensity of heat cause the monsters to flatten themselves against the ceiling, and much of the hot flame is taken in by the cold stone and dirt, but across the room Moralane hits the monster rushing at her with an arrow
round five begins
Another arrow strikes the same monster that Moralane has hit, fired from Rownigs bow the second arrow strikes a vital spot, and the monster falls from the ceiling, and hits the floor apparently dead.
edit
oops I see that Mazrim has already stated his action for round 5, so it's now my turn to go away and write up another post

Terquem |
”I’m okay,” Azram says as he walks toward Rownig. He makes a face, a half smile and a look of befuddlement, when Rownig mentions something about a curse, and then goes on, “I hope you’re joking. Aren’t we taking responsibility for enough cursed things recently?”
Moralane is breathing hard. She seems shaken by the encounter.
“I’m, I’m fine, just happy that one,” Moralane points to the dead monster in front of her, “didn’t get its hands on me,” she says as she touches her hand gently to her own throat. “I had a choking fit when I was young and I’ll never forget what that felt like. Still scares me to remember it.”
Atharessa is quiet, and she is still lying on her back on the ground.

Rownig Fleetfoot |

With a deadpan face Rownig replies, "Nev'r joke 'bout me aim...just a couple godly words over me bow." He extends the bow out to the priest,"Might be guud if ye touch d'bow, when ye say those words." His expression is one of expectation.

Luca Shatterstone |

"Alright, 'old still fer a bit."
Luca mutters a short prayer as divine energy washes over every one in the room.
Channel Positive: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Everyone gets 3hp back.
I think I may have messed up. Did everyone level or just everyone that was around before I joined up?

Terquem |
Atharessa stares up at Hallister and breaks out in a loud laugh.
“That was terrifying!” She shouts as she holds out her hand asking Hallister to hep her to her feet. ”Do you have any idea how strong that thing has got to be to pick me up off the ground, wow.”
”So, we better get on the move,” Azram says, as he puts his hand on Rownigs bow and invokes a blessing non magical that asks Dennari to keep an eye on the string and arrows so that they may stay true.

Rownig Fleetfoot |

Rownig renewed with his blessed shortbow steps to the edge of the platform, "Ready ta go, when ye are." He reaches out and touches the various rope lines, testing their security. "think dey would cut'em." Motioning from where the creatures scurried to then to the rope lines.
