"Do you perhaps know of a place where we can speak to these individuals or they come around frequently? The sooner we can deal with the situation, the better."

StephNyan |

"I don't discuss it publicly, but it's true certain abilities manifested after my parents' death when I was a little girl. Mostly they give me a hint what is going to happen before it does. It won't be enough to help me fight of an entire gang of Aspis agents."
"The last couple of times they were a bunch of thugs led by a man who I believe to be a caster of some sort. They usually pop up up randomly, so I think it's best if you just stay with me during the day. They'll likely show up up sooner or later."
Zeeva smiles at Matsu. "Merchants are free to sell any kind of ware, safe for weapons, armor, and magic. Would you like a tour of the market?"
I've created a map, which you can access by clicking 'Green Market' below my name.

![]() |

I'd love a tour dear! Can you recommend a good butcher, i'd like to grab some meat for a stew, oh and perhaps a green grocer for some fresh veggies, perhaps i'll do some roast potatoes and carrots with a nice Jus!

![]() |

"Are all these here local? Or do you sell goods from distant markets as well? I'd like to talk to you about some economical opportunity when we get the chance."
As Zeeva begins the tour, Ryker hangs back from the group, attempting to lose himself in the crowd.

StephNyan |

Zeeva leads you to a butcher and grocer, as per Bertha's request. She looks at Ghukar and asks "What kind of alchemical items do you need? We don't sell the ones adventures often use to create bombs, potions, and the like."
"It varies," she tells Branson. "Sometimes I see an image, sometimes I hear something. It usually happens right before something happens."
Zeeva turns to Ryker. "Anyone may sell items here, as long as the items aren't meant to be used in fights or otherwise harmful. We have merchants from all corners of the world, but most of them live in Korvosa."
Suddenly, Zeeva freezes. "They're almost here... I don't know from which direction they're coming, but you should prepare yourselves."

![]() |

Who's almost here deary? and are they cute? My sister Mary is terribly lonely these days I've been looking for a rugged man to set her up with
Bertha cast mage armor on her self.

"Time to get scarce"
Ryker attempts to hide between rows of produce, observing the crowd for signs of disruption.

Nodding the samurai turns his scabbard 180 degrees, ready for what is about to happen. Taking a deep breath, his face behind the mask become wolf like, his muscles swell and he forms into his battle form.
Alter self... into an adlet. +2 strength and +10 speed.

![]() |

Branson will set himself in a low crouch standing near Zeeva in order to protect her. "Stick with me dearie, and with Korada's blessings, we shall make it through this."
Branson addresses his compatriots, "talking first right? Who is doing the talking? Shall we just see how they address Zeeva?"

![]() |

People say i have cheery disposition and a way with words, I'm sure all this nonsense can be sorted out
I have +8 to diplomacy and a +14 to bluff

![]() |

Ghukar frowned a bit at the mention that there was no items that he would find useful for battle. "I had hoped that there might be items of that nature as you never know when you will need more for battle. he said, scanning the market area, trying to spot them before they spotted the group.

Suddenly one of the market shoppers stops and turns toward Zeeva, pulling the hood of his cloak back to reveal the face of a man in his thirties.
"Zeeva, I think we should discuss some business. In private, so as not to cause a scene in such a serene setting as the Green Market."
Ghukar then notices some other market shoppers are moving in on you. The moment they realize they've been spotted they also pull the hoods of their cloaks back.
Zeeva looks at you for help.

Maximillian watches the interaction closely, not wanting to start the fight but ready to quickly end it with his sword.

Ryker picks up a golden-colored fruit and examines it, while keeping an eye on his angelic friends and their less-angelic visitors. His knives itch in their wrist sheaths, but he resists the urge to scratch. Instead, he takes a big sniff of the golden fruit, and smiles as the smells of gold, silver and copper tickle his nose.
I will never tire of the smell of money.
Still watching the exchange of words, he puts the fruit down and tries to keep out of view.
No use talking to a snake. Better to strike 'em dead before they have the chance to bite, if you ask me, but I won't draw my blades in a crowded market. At least, I won't be the one to draw first. Let them deal with the guards asking questions. If they are still capable of answering...

![]() |

Branson comes forward, holding his hands up and showing they are empty, "Now I certainly do not mean to contradict you sir, but this actually is our business. We are associates of Ms. Zeeva, so any money you have to deliver to Ms. Zeeva, you can go ahead and give it to her."

Ghukar reached into his pouch and pulled out some scraps of paper and string. "Since it seems you are itching for a fight, would you mind writing down your names and any last messages for your next of kin? If you can not write, just tell me your name rather than writing an "X"" he said, holding the paper and stings in one hand while digging into the pouch once again for a pen.
