There is nowhere for Felicitas to move to without climbing all the way over to the other side of the snakes.

Well in that case... she will slowly start climbing

Karos manages to injure the other snake grappling him.

The snake not currently grappling Karos manages to latch on with his bite and start squeezing.

The other snake, compelled by Sindelle's magic bites the first and squeezes until Snake 2 stops moving.

Yoshi and Felicitas are having trouble crossing the gap.

Note: Moving along the ledges does not require balancing, unless you enter the square of another creature (that is larger than tiny). In that case you need to give me an Acrobatics check as you move past. Snake 2 is currently 5 feet above Karos.

As snake 1 is not offensive to use at this moment, can Yoshi try the jump through its space?

Looking at the description of the spell, it doesn't mention being friendly to you or not being able to take AoOs. So I would say jumping through it's space would require an Acrobatics check as normal vs it's CMD+5, +10 more if you have to move full speed. If you fail though you'd have to make a Climb check to catch yourself on the ledge at the normal DC of 19 or fall.

Given Karos is not currently grappled, Yoshi will delay and hope he 5' steps.

Sindelle will take a 5 foot fly diagonally down towards Karos drawing her wand of cure light wounds even as she takes 5 more points of Karos' damage, and will reach out to hit him with the wand.

Is it true that I'm not grappled? I think I am. Still, being grappled doesn't stop movement and I can shift out of your way. Let's see what the GM says.

If Karos 5' steps, then Yoshi will try the jump, othwise he will climb the cliff.

Karos blasts the final snake, sending it flying off the edge of the precipice. Soon, the others are able to join him at the far side.

Karos checks his pistol before reholstering it and tips his hat to Sindelle. "Obliged, Ma'am. Good to have you along to patch us up."

Yoshi leaps over to join the others.

"Let us be heading upwards. This area is most strange. I am reading in the chronicles of similar places where land has been transported to another world. But I am not knowing if this is the case here."

"Let's heal up first. I feel like boot without a heel."

Sindelle alights on the other side of the climb her wings crumbling away a few seconds later. She seems both happy and amused with Karos' compliment and winks as she replies.

"And you've got cute at puns to boot!"

She will let her Life Link with Karos absorb the rest of his pain (15 of his current 18 hp of damage) even as she starts to heal herself...

...and then playfully bonks Karos on the head with it when she's done with herself.

She smiles at him and the others, "Ready to continue?"

Once you reach the top of the winding steps, the entrance to the temple stands before you. Three sets of stairs, one ahead, and another to each side lead up about 10 feet into the temple interior.

Yoshi carefully and respectfully approaches the closest of the stairs and looks for signs of trouble.

"Now we are being here...Let us being exploring." He looks back at the cut off part of the temple and road.

"The VC was saying that the sorceress was taking some of the temple into her tapestry. I was thinking he was meaning she was weaving it in, not removing it from this work entirely."

Yoshi doesn't detect any trouble.

In that case he carefully advances up the stairs.

Rows of columns divide this spacious room. A pile of blankets lies in the southwest corner, but otherwise, the room is bare.

Survival

Karos gives Sindelle a grin, then follows Yoshi up the stairs.

Yoshi pokes through the blankets. "There is being nothing here." he says with distaste. Slowly he starts to circle the room, looking for another exit, keeping the rest of the group informed as to his progress.

Sindelle walks a little past Karos but still far behind Yoshi and casts Detect Magic in a sweep over the room while also scrutinizing the area (red lines on map I think I can get the whole room).

"Well seems like a place to rest, but quite barren. Maybe the next room holds some clues!"

Yoshi looks across to the next set of rooms:

Old clothes, barrels, large sacks, rusted pickaxes, and other miscellaneous junk lies in piles in this room.

Perception

Karos draws his pistol and stalks carefully toward the next room.

"This place is looking long abandoned." he sighs.

Then he adds more cheerfuly "Which is meaning there may still be artefacts from long ago to find!"

The brawler advances up to the next set of columns and glances south from there.

Staying a bit behind Felicitas gives the others some room to explore.

The group makes their way toward the center of the temple. A polished, fifteen-foot-tall stone statue of a coiled snake sits at the center of this room.

"Are there being cults of snakes in this area? "

He then thinks back to the path.

"There are being snakes on the approach to this place..."

"So it's sort of a snake-temple, then?" says Karos with a grin. "Who knows? All I know is that I've never heard of a snake cult with a positive outlook. They're always trying to kill someone. Usually me."

Sindelle follows closely behind Karos during all of this sometimes going "hmm" since she apparently has no insight (stupid dice).

"Anyone else see anything interesting? Just looks like an abandoned ruin to me."

"Well, this statue is new... but for the others, well no idea. Felicitas shrugs.

"Did you find anything interesting in the rooms back there Kraak?"

"Nope, but I found a few eggs there. but let me check whats in there."

"Snake eggs?" asks Yoshi.

"Maybe these are the eggs of the snakes we faced upon the cliff?"

Felicitas confirms that they are indeed snake eggs.

"I'm going to check out the other side of the temple," says Karos, heading south.

Yoshi joins him, moving to look down the middle passage to the south.

"I am thinking we should be making sketches of temple and such. Maybe Society would be interested in new statue too. I am not being a good artist myself."

Sindelle follows behind Karos "and I'm thinking we shouldn't split up just in case of more snakes or something. We can make drawings once we finish checking for danger right? Also make sure not to hurt the eggs since that wouldn't really be self defense or stuff like before with the actual snakes."

Was anyone doing anything with the eggs? Felicitas would note that these eggs belong to some rare species of snake.

Karos and Sindelle can see into a long room in the center of this wing.

The smell of old paper fills this long building, whose walls are lined with drawers carved from the same stone. Between the shelves, three windows offer a majestic view over dozens of snowy peaks in the east.

Yoshi looks through the books.
"These are having names and dates in them. I am confused as most of the dates are being marked from the year 6445 and prior, which is strange since the current year is only 4716. They are slowed down to a trickle after that and then stopping about 2 hundred years later."

Then a light dawns

"Tian Xia uses a different calendar, called the Imperial Calendar (IC). The current year 4716 AR is equivalent to 7216 IC, exactly 2500 years difference"

He does a bit of a calculation.

"If these are being IC dates, then these entries are being mostly 700 years old, a new slightly less."

"Oh look... There is a box labeled "Mountain Scrolls" containing a collection of scrolls. These may be valuable?"

Felicitas carefully wraps the eggs before looking at the books.
Seeing she can´t read them, she quickly reaches into her scroll component pouch procures a scroll of comprehend languages, reads them and then works on the books.
After reading quickly through them she tells the others what it is inside. She then quickly writes down all the names in the guest book.

Sindelle joins Yoshi once he mentions the books and scrolls since she also can read Tien.

Then her eyes light up as she finds something else. "Ooh look at these! This is called "Whispers in the Wood" and is really ancient but it's in a dialect I don't know. It's really beautiful though and look at all the kami it illustrates! Tanbaru come take a look at this!"

Those dates are nearly 3 months in the past.

With a shrug Yoshi continues south, looking into the south eastern corner.

"Let us be seeing what else is being here."
