Discussion is open. Any purchases should be made here, stating the name of the item and how much it costs. I would suggest you have everything prepared before you begin as you will NOT be able to buy anything in the middle of the scenario.
That being said, you are Pathfinders. Be prepared for anything. Make of this as you will: this is a season 3 scenario. But it was a really good predictor of what came in this season and the last.

This is the link to roll20 (I will figure out how to post the maps on google drive as soon as possible...). You will be provided with pop culture tokens according to your race and class (I'm totally serious) so if you want, you could set up your macros.
It's almost game day everyone ^_^

![]() |

Can you open the gamethread for dotting plz?

![]() |

Wait. Is this play by post live? I have a live PFS game day on the 1st. Sorry. Maybe I didn't quite understand what game day meant.

![]() |

Man, with so many hints i feel like i should buy something lol..
Ill take a fly pot for 2pp..

![]() |

Sorry, my home computer burned out Saturday morning. Hopefully I will have a replacement this evening.
Not enough cash to buy anything and nothing that I know I want bad enough to purchase with prestige.

![]() |

Okay, the map is UP.
Logain, you are the guy with the glowing blue sword
Gabriel: Dumbledore
Roary: Conan the Barbarian
Jakarno: Shikamaru
Ser Clay: Avatar from Ultima
Morrolan: The sith inquisitor
Order yourself however you want. We will be using the Google Map, not roll20 (which is just for my own sanity)

![]() |

Okay, so now the link to the google map is up. You can see three guards. There are no others by the sphinx (I don't know why there were five total) You all know that this is difficult terrain and can't charge... And you think they will be at around your position (from how the tracks in the sand are located) in six seconds, but haven't yet spotted you.

![]() |

I will give you guys the choice. I am trying to fill the sixth position now. After one or two days, would you rather continue waiting for a sixth player, or play with five people. I will note that the second option will make this quite difficult if you all end up playing up. Your choice.

![]() |

Wouldn't we be playing down with the 3 4's and 2 6's? But I'm unsure when we have to play up and when we have the choice.

I would prefer waiting for another player.
I could switch to my 6th level character, but I'm not sure he would actually add that much to this group. Many of his abilities would be overlap. Plus he's really not super optimized for anything except tripping and disarming. Pretty generic magus other than that.

![]() |

Im fine with whatver. Roary is pretty tough and hits hard enough for his level so im not to worried about either way.

![]() |

Level 7 cleric, reporting for duty. *salute*
Will check in on the gameplay, etc, in the next few hours. His current stat listing is not updated, but I'll do that too.

So, am I considered to have been with the game from the start? Because Skipper's a Varisian pilgrim, and would have annoyingly proselytized asked, before setting out, if he could say a prayer over his companions and dedicate their mission to the Empyreal Lord, Sinashakti, patron lord of journeys.
(In other words, if he had one minute to do his caravan bond, he would have done so; and if any party members are unwilling to be included in his prayer for reasons of religious conflict/RP, let me know, since I just need to know who is part of his caravan bond and who isn't.)

![]() |

Cool then. I'll assume caravan bond is up unless anyone specifically tells me that they would have declined the blessing.
For the record, Skipper is very light on offense, very big on heals and on making sure the party is able to be mobile/not suffering from terrain effects/problems/etc. I also have First Aid gloves; try not to get TOO far away from Skipper in case of emergency. :P
Also, is anyone not sporting a deflection bonus? Shield of Faith is a +3 for me, and I don't mind throwing it down on someone else in combat, if they'll benefit significantly from it. I'll suss out who's doing what in combat unless anyone wants to introduce their PC here. :P

![]() |

Jakarno, the Wayang Shadowcaster Veiled Illusionist, currently disguised as a small Tengu. He stays away from combat, naturally. He's surprisingly good at Stealth for a Wizard, and has lots of illusions and debuffs and such, and almost no offensive capabilities.

![]() |

Roary would gladly take a +3 to his AC, but dont worry about it for this fight..

![]() |

Morrolan the Rock Walker. I am foretold to place myself between danger and those I am set to protect.
Dwarf, level 4 inquisitor, tank-ish build. Do not currently have a deflection bonus. I do have communal protection from evil available. However, I prefer to save that for when it looks like mental attacks are likely.

![]() |

The guy had enough movement to get around my threatened area?

![]() |

Hi Skipper. Gabriel is a buff/debuff/battlefield controller who doesn't get into melee too much. When not buffing/debuffing/battlefield controlling, he just uses a Wand of Magic Missile to dink tough enemies.

![]() |

I would move you but im not sure which one you are.. GM would you mind if we put are actual avatars on the map so noone is confused?
