PFS#: 134452-4
Faction: Grand Lodge
Day Job: None
I have doted the Gameplay and deleted the message to keep it clean.

Nah, let's stay positive: you got that single bad roll you were going to make out of the way :P
true, true :D
I noticed you're running CotCT. I am too, currently right near the end of Part 4, but I can't wait till Part 5, but that's just because it goes to general dungeon crawling in that one.

StephNyan |

I'm very much looking forward to the parts to come! :)
I tried playing CotCT once, but our GM vanished before we'd even reached Lamm... :(

![]() |

Do we have to wait for 1st November to start?

![]() |

I fear day 1, a chaos of threads booming in xD

![]() |

Well we can spend the time talking about our characters or their backstorys to familiarise ourselves with each other too.
S'arkee is a Nagaji who was visited in dreams by strange beings with ancient runes instead of heads. These were the companions of Lissala in some outer plane far away. She and the beings taught him of the seven virtues of rule: Wealth, Fertility, Honest Pride, Abundance, Eager Striving, Righteous Anger and Well-Deserved Rest.
He wishes to find and bring back the lessons of the past, but by also removing the corrupted sin magic which turned the virtues to the vices of Greed, Lust, Pride, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath and Sloth. He hopes to spread these lessons to bring the world to a new age.
Backstory over with, I myself have been playing pathfinder for some time and have been DMing games online for sometime. Currently I have been hosting Kingmaker part 2, Curse of the Crimson Throne Part 4 and a homebrew.
I'm from the UK, Southampton :)

We'll have to wait, yes. I haven't even been given the scenarios I'm running, which I'll receive just before the Game Day starts.
My name's Stephan, and I'm from The Netherlands. I've been playing Pathfinder for over a year now, mostly PbP. I started GMing PbP games about half a year ago.
The games I currently run are Curse of the Crimson Throne, and the PFS games Shadow's Last Stand part 2 and Tide of Twilight. I'm very much looking forward running this game, which I've by the way played twice :)

twice huh?
I've only played it once and that was with Elenore Evelyn. It's the one scenario you can play over and over and the rewards do kind of make it worth while, but I can imagine it'd be a bore doing it more than twice.
That's why I chose S'arkee for this one.

StephNyan |

I'm going to play it a third time during the Game Day. Normally I'd never play and GM the same scenario at the same time, but since I already know the drill I figured it didn't matter.
I prefer playing new scenarios, but I have so many PFS aliases that I have to utilize replayable scenarios and (replayable) modules to level all of my characters. GMing also helps, because of the GM sheets I get :)

I know the feeling. I have sooo many aliases.

![]() |

Yeah, I just kept getting different ideas. I'd do stuff like this in MMOs too. Have sooo many ideas, but can't hold them all down.
some of the Aliases, I've used in games I DM to give a face to villains, but others were for games that usually ended up dying due to one reason or the other :p

Boderus is a tiefling. He grew up in the slums and has always been an outcast. He had to take care of himself from a very young age and turned the darker parts of society. He has been recruited by the Taldor for his 'skills' and has been employed mostly by them.
He is now hired by different parties for what he is best at.
I've been brought into pathfinder by Stephan actually and also live in the Netherlands. I'm currently running a homebrew, my second game I GM.
I'm going to play in both tables of this scenario actually, I had another character I wanted to try out :)
As for the amount of aliases I'm a newby!

![]() |

Awesome and interesting story. In the world of Golarian, Tieflings are often looked down upon, but I have seen people make Tiefling paladins who go against the grain.
One thing I ought to mention is the faction Taldor. It's been retired, but the sight hasn't updated that yet on the website nor do I know how they'd do it for those with face and pres already in a group.
However it might have become something else, like for instance, Osarian is now Scarab Sages. Not sure what Taldor would be...Soverign Court?
Edit: Also, good luck! The fun thing about PFS is there is a nice balance at the end of each adventure as we receive points and treasure based on how well we do, how many objectives are done and so on. Plus there's a restriction on what can be bought and so on (which I honestly, often forget) which is why I suggested this for a friend of mine who only likes low level campaigns.

![]() |

I forget it every time... they should really update the website. I believe the name only changed, the faction should be generally the same.
I have played an RPG game before this but the rules were a bit sloppy. I was recommended this game and refused at first, later I came back to it and thought why the hell not... This moment has been about half a year ago or something :D
I've also been adding character ideas to my aliases lately ^^ By now it's fairly easy to paste together a character and it's really fun too.

The Netherlands? Ik heb twee jaren in Enschede wonen.
I have great memories of my time there. I am from Barcelona.
I have been GMing D&D 3.5 quite intensely for the past two years, and just arrived to Pathfinder and it's organised play a couple of months ago. Played once the Confirmation with another player.
This should be interesting.
Xien is a nagaji paladin follower of Nalinivaty. He was called out by his order to join the Pathfinder Society in order to pay tribute to the organization by means of service. This was done as payment for the help the Society has provided to Nagajor in recent years. Additionally, he is supposed to spread knowledge of Nalinivaty and Nagajor among the occidental nations. Of course, bringing back knowledge of those nations to Nagajor.
Back on the start of his journey, the Nagaji Oracles revealed he was chosen by the Great Naga for this job, and it is written Xien will see the ascend of the Rubi and make the whole in the Earth for the fitting. Whatever it means, it probably announces a new era in the relations between both continents.
Xien is a stout nagaji, provided with a portentous will to make things happen. He is narrow minded and obtuse, not really a vivid one, things takes time to come inside his brain. Nevertheless, his courage and personality usually results inspiring for those around him.
In combat he is a defender and a protector, an imposing foe worthy of the omen over him. His favourite weapon is the trident, which he loves to use to impale the enemies of Nagajor and the Society. He very rarely questions orders, and honour is for him over morality, ethics or any other consideration, he just follows the Nagajor leader orders, and by extension of his mission in Occident, the Pathfinder Society orders.

Will be interesting to see these two Nagaji converse. S'arkee would be able to point out his God just wants th bring law to the world, just like his. Doesn't change the fact she's evil, but would make interesting conversation between the two.
Can't wait for us to get a start on this as it's starting. Looking at the chronical sheet I can see why someone would take it multiple times with the rewards offered.

I'll be on camp Wednesday - Friday, and the internet connection is rumored to be awful where I'm staying. I'm taking my laptop with me, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to respond to anything you may ask/say while gone.
How's your background coming along, Hskori? I'm curious to see what it'll be like when finished :)

![]() |

Meh, kind of at a standstill for the moment. I am usually like that for a level or three until I can formulate something to fit the character and her personality. I will work on it tonight.
I see what you mean. I usually have the backstory first, but I'm weird like that.

![]() |

Rough outline of backstory.
A cloistered girl kept hidden within the multitude of rivers and swamps of Nagajor, who blossomed under the discipline of the ophidian matriarchy. Trained from a young age to take on the mantle within the Order of the Poisoned Fang; Hskori left weeks prior to the completion of tutelage due a curiosity of what lies beyond the boundaries of the realm of the First Mother Vassath Shethagri.
Naïve to the ways of the world, she lost much to people along the road. Robbed of everything but the threadbare clothing that she was wearing she lived in the streets a destitute wretch in the Foreign District of the City at the Center of the World.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this, she was to be trained to be a matriarch in the Order; was she to sell her body like the “divine” prostitutes she saw at the Inner Sea temples. At wits end, and about to rob Nalinivati of many future eggs, she went looking for a means to an end.
Fortunately for her she happened upon Amenopheus who was down and out after his dismissal from the service of the Ruby Prince. To this day she isn’t certain as to what Amenopheus saw in her, be it carnal or greatness, but she is grateful whatever the reasons.
He taught her the ways of life in the Inner Sea and sponsored her tutelage within the Pathfinder Society only after she agreed to meet the Diamond Sage, Tahonikepsu. Having great uncertainties as to what to expect from her meeting, Hskori remained mostly silently, only talking when addressed by the Garundi woman who’s head appeared freshly shaved. There staring into the deep violet eyes she pledged her service to Tahonikepsu, Amenopheus, and the Scarab Sages and their mission to unlock the wisdom of the past for a brighter future.
Studying under the Pathfinder Society in the Grand Lodge was much different than within the temple of the Order of the Poisoned Fang. It was much more relaxed instruction, and they actively encouraged a social life. Though years of reclusive existence she was reluctant to take advantage of that spending her time in the Gardens and at the small shrine to Nalivanti she built.
Her first venture for the Society was morally conflicting. She had the duty to explore a Fallen Fortress where she would found a less evolved race of the great Nagaji, referred to her travelling companions simply as “Lizard Men”. They refused a diplomatic solutions and outright murdered the entire tribe in their home.
She reluctantly responds to the call to meet the “Master of Spells” at the hovel called Pig’s Paunch. Hoping that the task is more than simple murder of a lesser race.

Same here, the background forms along the way. I mostly have a rough background but the true one comes with the levels :)

StephNyan |

It's a nice backstory so far, Hskori!
The game's up! We'll start the mission itself when everyone's present :)
I'd like everyone, who doesn't yet have it, to post an info bar like this in the 'Race' section of their profiles:
F Tiefling Gunslinger (Musket Master)/2 (HP 18/18 | AC:20 | T:14 | FF:16 | CMB:4 | CMD:17 | Fort:+4 | Ref:+6 | Will:+3 | Init:+3 | Perc:+7 | Speed 30)
It'll give me easy access to your important stats.

For those curious about the topic: manipulate an item and Draw or sheathe a weapon, both in the move action section

Just thought I'd like to apologise for not replying earlier. I covered someone's early shift after my own late shift so most of the day I had been dead on my feet.
