Benevolence will move up and cast guidance on Kavaki before he crosses the river.

Arthrax will move another 10 ft towards the river and let fly with a throwing axe.

Throwing Axe: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Crit Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Graxus moves over the log.
acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

And takes position to charge the minotaur.

Tywin casts grease on the minotaurs 4 squares. (Dc 14 reflex)
concentration: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

Mandorin will again double move to get over the bridge.

The minotaur tries to keep his balance as he slips on grease...
Reflex save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
...and falls prone as a throwing axe buries itself into the creature's chest, throwing it off balance!
As the beast falls flat on his back, Janira takes the opportunity to limp off into the thicker brush where she shouts words of encouragement to the team.
+1 to attack and damage again. And the party is up again!

Arthrax will move another 10 feet and toss another axe at the prone minotaur, confidence brimming in his woodsman skills.

Throwing Axe: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Even with the extra help, Arthrax's throw goes clear over the minotaur. Oh well, the beast likely wouldn't rise again anyway.

Kavaki move inbetween the minotaur and janira. Then strikes with his (now large) temple sword.

melee basic: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 1 = 28

damage: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 4) + 5 = 13

crit comfirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

crit damage: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 3) + 5 = 11

WOW! Couldn't do that again... ever!

"THIS is for picking on our mentor!"

Well, two crits, minotaur down. Good job! LOL

"Don't finish him, I want to taste it's blood whahaha!"

Graxus rushes in and tries to bite the creature, though he didn't expect it to fall so easily and bites air
charge: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 + 4 = 11

bite: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Tywin lowers his lance and jabs the minotaur with it.
charge with lance: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 2 + 4 = 30
confirm: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 2 + 4 = 16
confirmed charge with lance dmg: 5d6 + 15 ⇒ (4, 3, 1, 3, 2) + 15 = 28
Tywin's lance goes right through the skull of the minotaur and out the other end.
"Oh dear!" He yelps.

I think we killed it with 3 crits lol :d

Wow...just...wow
Kavaki impales the downed beast with his sword while Tywin drives a lance through the side of it's head, effectively putting the minotaur down for good.
Combat over!
As the dust begins to settle, you see a very bloodied Janira crawl out of the brush, dragging one foot behind her and clutchihng at her shoulder with her remaining good arm. Though she appears to be in great pain, she smiles as she approaches you and says Well done, initiates! I do beleive you've earned your place in the Society, if for no other reason than your timely rescue. Tell me though, what did you discover about the caverns below?"

Arthrax smiles at their mentor, hoisting the pack off his shoulder and offering it to Janira. "I believe this belongs to you, ma'am."

He waits for the monk or the Halfling to explain everything, since they had taken notes and seemed to be more eloquent speakers.

Kavaki offers his notes to Janira.

"As you expected, we didn't find anything we couldn't handle. The key points are outlined in these notes. I hope they meet your satisfaction."

"Well Janira, we found carvings of Aroden, quite a bit different than in the modern holy books. We also met a Gillman, praying at a pool, he seemed friendly enough. In the pool was a small model of Ancient Absalom though. Then we explored further into the cave and found some undead and then a secret passageway which took us to you."

"I made drawings! Look!"
Tywin proudly produces his drawings of the city and the reliefs.

Janira sits and listens to the group's story in full, taking healing potions from her backpack and using healing charges from her wand as she does so. At certain point, she interjects with a burst of enthusiasm, like "You actually spoke with a gillman!? Oh, how wonderful! What was he like?" and "You mean to tell me that there's a forgotten temple to Aroden inside the cavern!? That's...that's just...amazing!"
When the story is finished, Janira stands and says "Congratulations, each and every one of you! You have each surpassed all expectations that were set for you when we first left Absolam. We must return later with a full team of scholars and cartoghraphers to catalog these findings! But for now, I beleive our work here is done. Let's return and report our findings to the Master of Scrolls. I'll help him file all the necassary paperwork to ensure that each of you is made a full member of the society."
