Riddywipple sees the two Xill in the pit finally fade from the material plane.

The Xill at the top of the tree turns her glare on Sir Godfrey's Shadow.

It is also worth noting that Ragnar will not be able to target anyone from the passage he is in.

Meanwhile, still invisible, Logan looks around, the ship is now only visible as a faint outline, his blood is on fire although it is little more than a faint sensation, at least until he stops. Rising in front of him in an enormous, dark tree, its roots blood red and its branches decorated with the slowly swinging bodies of headless knights. An opening in the great trunk beckons him onwards, promising infinite pleasure and pain.

Oh, great, great, great grandma, what did you do!

Summon Shadow (Su): At 3rd level, a shadowdancer can summon a shadow, an undead shade. Unlike a normal shadow, this shadow's alignment matches that of the shadowdancer, and the creature cannot create spawn. The summoned shadow receives a +4 bonus on Will saves made to halve the damage from positive channeled energy and the shadow cannot be turned or commanded. This shadow serves as a companion to the shadowdancer and can communicate intelligibly with the shadowdancer. This shadow has a number of hit points equal to half the shadowdancer's total. The shadow uses the shadowdancer's base attack bonus and base save bonuses.

The shadow merely tilts its head to the side as if observing something odd when the pink Xill speaks, then reaches out to tap it on the "nose" when it stops moving.

Sir Godfrey frowns heavily at the now still Xill and points his blade towards it. "Foul temptress, do not try to lure the my goodness reflected on the earth by Sarenrae's mighty glory to your nefarious cause! You shall pay!" He will then, with unnecessary vigor, run towards the pit. He will vault it with the greatest of ease and begin climbing up to where the pink Xill is as he currently has no idea the status of the Xill in the pit and assumes they are handled.

Move to cross the room and jump the pit, second move to start climbing the plant. I believe his hasted movement speed is capped at 40ft, since he wears heavy armor, but he will attempt to quick climb up the plant for the second half of his turn.

He stares at Logan for a pregnant pause as his brain attempts to digest all the random gesture. Then his face suddenly lights up and he raises a finger. "I'M ON IT!" Subtle he is not, but the shadow responds to his command and settles down in place at his feet, moving with him and by all appearances presenting itself as just a normal person's shadow.

"Yes new friends, we have rescued you. Please follow the gentlemen there to the top of the deck. And with haste! I fear we have not long before this boat leaves with all of us. Can we get some knowledge rolls before we decide their fate? We don't even know what race they are or what is implanted in them.

Lantern Lodge

Sure can. They are a variety of races, primarily human. As for what they have in them... that would he a higher level heal check than anyone has managed. Given your generally high knowledge skills, I'll also let on that a remove disease is known to be able to cure Xill egg implantation.

Once we are off the ship, is there anything to stop me from studying them at length and taking 20 on Heal? I've got a +19, +21 if using the kit (i.e. not combined with taking 20). Guidance or other buffs might get that even higher.
