"Bah! Who cares whose banner that is? We should keep on keepin' on..." Graxzos grumbles as the others examine the banner. Ignoring their activity, he examines first the eastern door, and then at the northeastern.

Boderus doesn't hear or see anything wrong, so he opens the eastern door. He sees a stairwell that would have gone down and up except for the fallen rocks blocking the way down. At least up is clear.

"Well then, let's press on, I say!" The dwarf, already standing at the northeastern door, swings it open and peers inside.

Graxzos opens the door and judging from the shelves lining the walls, this darkened room might once have been a storeroom, though its contents have long since succumbed to the passage of time. A crack in the northern wall has apparently let in some rainwater, which has collected in a large puddle on the floor. As soon as the door opens, a sickly thin lizard that is in this room gets up and looks excited at the company.

At the 3rd floor Graxzos mentions having a lockpick, which Boderus forgot.
"Graxzos are you familiar with lockpicking? If not I could try and open the door with the lockpick."

Lol, let's see what he can do with his "dwarven lockpick."
Graxzos hefts up his ax and starts whacking at the door. After a few swings, the door falls to pieces.
Two stone altars, one black and one white, sit at either end of this large chamber, which takes up two wings of the tower on this level. The crumbling remains of wooden benches sag in front of each altar beneath rotting ceiling tapestries. Carved symbols and writings snake along the walls. The burnt corpses of two troglodytes lie on the floor in the center of the room. Seeing the door fall to pieces, two humanoid skeletons, wreathed in auras of eternal flame, open their jaws in soundless screams as they raise their weapons and prepare to attack.

"If I help you, you will never trouble me again!" Necress shouts at the undead.

She then addresses the group. "Do not kill them...yet! One of these seeks my help, and will not leave me in peace until I do!"

Speaking is a free action...hoping to do so out of turn here.

FYI, I'm hoping to use Command Undead to get one of these under my control. Ideally, everyone would delay until after me so I can see which one we should kill (or maybe I can get both). If everyone doesn't mind delaying, they could prove helpful going forward.

command undead:
Benefit: As a standard action, you can use one of your uses of channel negative energy to enslave undead within 30 feet. Undead receive a Will save to negate the effect. The DC for this Will save is equal to 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Charisma modifier. Undead that fail their saves fall under your control, obeying your commands to the best of their ability, as if under the effects of control undead. Intelligent undead receive a new saving throw each day to resist your command. You can control any number of undead, so long as their total Hit Dice do not exceed your cleric level. If you use channel energy in this way, it has no other effect (it does not heal or harm nearby creatures). If an undead creature is under the control of another creature, you must make an opposed Charisma check whenever your orders conflict.
